There's Slime Rancher but I don't think it was really that great, it's fine for what it is but it drags on a bit toward the end.

Are there any good new SimTower types of games? Project Highrise is the last time I looked into them.

It's a little restaurant "management' game, but it's very light on actual management, half the day is spent running around talking to touhou characters and gathering ingredients and the other half is spent cooking and serving guests.
It's very casual and a bit repetitive, but definitely comfy and the soundtrack is nice

Was the OST removed from youtube? I can only find a couple songs

That webm is like watching an esport starcraft player keeping his APM up. Lower difficulties and earlier on you're lucky to have a line of even 1 or 2 people, since customer flow is slow enough that they mostly only come in when the last ones are done eating.
Throwing food is also a limited time special buff, otherwise you're walking the dishes over to them.
You select the customer flow as a difficulty option each day. If you keep it at level 1 or 2 instead of 3 you won't feel that rushed.

This is a terrible webm to say it's comfy or casual.

I really liked this one. Very pretty season changes and top comfy ost

Too bad I don't really see much point in replaying it though, maybe one day if I mod it.

I really liked this game too. Deciding I wanted to move to a different area hours in was a pain in the ass though and I started feeling like I was babysitting everyones food and firewood for too long but I could probably plan that better this time.

        >Deciding I wanted to move to a different area hours in was a pain in the ass though
I can imagine. In this kinds of games I tend to spend some time in the beginning just wandering the lands looking for a pretty spot. I started my village near a waterfall in a forest east of the first village. I liked that spot, though I probably could have organized the village itself much better, had I known just how big it would eventually get.

I didn't even really look into the game much before trying it so the size took me by surprise too, which is why I had to move. I made a hunting and logging cabin just outside of that starter village, down the road near the bridge across the river.
Then after making a couple huts and 2 houses it became clear the layout there just wasn't going to allow enough room and I didn't want to tear down an entire forest (that I was using to hunt in, for one) so I decided on an area by the creek in that relatively treeless area further along the river. So much back and forth to move things, worth it in the end though.

Is this a real game? It looked just like one of these survival games like there is so many like it except a bit more kingdom come looking.

You can try to play it that way, I guess. But it's more about inviting other villagers from surrounding towns to live at and work in your camp and expanding that into a small functional village with everyone having a role. You can get a wife and she can have a kid and I read that you can eventually play as that kid but by even by the default timescale I didn't get to that.

it's not really survival, there aren't any real dangers, it's more like comfy farming/hunting/village building

I've been enjoying Dinkum with the gf. Feels a lot like if Animal Crossing had more control. I hope he gets some money to add some people on to help him add more stuff and make some dlc content later.
