Okay anons... I played this game, I completed it and started a save-transfer in ME2. But that was ages ago. I forgot everything about the story and my selections. I want to keep playing. Should I replay ME1 with mods or should I read up on the story line in ME1, perhaps use some save file analyzer to determine which story options were selected, and continue with ME2?
yea its pretty shit. the third one is so vile and full of california mentality characters that it would be right at home if it were to be released today as is but shiner graphics.
>Why?
It just doesnt do anything particularly great. You dont really "rolepelay" much, obviously its trying to be more of an action game, but the "action" isnt that great either. Its story is not that great or original as far as space operas go too.
The "exploration" is a fucking meme, there are like 10 """panets""" you can explore, and its always the same shit, try to navigate your buggy around the annoying mountain terrain to find some mineral, shoot a few mobs or a not-Dune worm, enter a building, shoot a few more enemies thus time on your feet and thats it.
Solid world building and lore, but not really utilized much
Some anon has a google doc of the more worthwhile ones, most are on nexusmods.
Which mods do this?
- Saren Stages
- Fix for Eden Prime's skybox, returning it to the original red to reflect the fact that the Geth just glassed the colony in a fire so big you can see it from orbit
- MELLO lighting restoration
- ALOT and LEUITM texture mods
I don't get why the fanbase obsessed over Garrus so much. He is a piece of wood in the first game with uninteresting conversations, he becomes a badass in the second but has about only 3 conversations with Shepard again. Then he receives some good characterization in the 3rd game which is nice, but he's all nostalgic for the good old times and I am left wondering what he is talking about since we really only worked together for a few months. Garrus has lived his life thinking Shepard is dead for a longer period of time than he has actually worked with him.
Just like any bioware game
Based
Cringe

Bumping for actual answers (unless this series is dead...).
Theres this "interactive comics" that tells you the story of 1, even your choices, are you playing the legendary edition?
Yeah LE.
Well, theb just start a new game in 2 continuing your save from 1 and the comic should play in the beginning
Okay, thanks.
continue
Just replay ME1
the less you know or care about the story the better it'll be cause it falls apart so badly as it goes on.
I just realized how little Shepard looks like his (default) ingame model on this poster
ME2 is the worst one

nah
Why?

games was fucking sick, even though it was the start of having everone be a homo gay romance partner, at least had well-written villain
Watching this reminds me how much better it was than Andromeda. Sad. I hate the ~~*individuals*~~ pushing DEI/ESG.
I'm having fun, need mods to unfuck Biowares failures tho
Where do you get LE mods?

Which mods do this?
it's the only good Mass Effect game
Mass Effect 1 is a better space RPG than Starfield.
Its hardly an rpg
>and realized... its kinda shit
better late than never
2 is the best one
2>1>3
Ass effect was always trash
The last good bioware game is dragon age origins
Mass Effect 1 gives me similar feel as 80s He-Man cartoon. I won't elaborate further.
Eden Prime and Virmire to the end are great but the rest of the game is pretty boring.
I remember for a time that it was not considered totally cringe to wear N7 shirts
Always was, autismo
Why, because Andromeda was shit? I only recently discovered Mass Effect and thought of buying one.
>I have shit taste, please agree with me guys
Nah, fuck off. ME 1 through 3, especially 3, are masterpieces and I replay them each year.
>>I have shit taste, please agree with me guys
>Nah, fuck off. ME 1 through 3, especially 3, are masterpieces
How ironic
Nah I love the first game, got some real cheesy sci fi TV show vibes. 2 was okay, couldn't get through 3 I absolutely hated the pacing.
>its kinda shit huh
What, your taste? Yeah.
