I've been seeing some people complain about Koriadon and Miriadon not feeling like proper box art legendary they dont feel "important" or "god like" just a gimmick i honestly don't get it they seem fine to me mascot legendary pokemon playing a bigger role sounds cool plus it's too early to judge
DMT Has Friends For Me Shirt $21.68 |
>they dont feel "important" or "god like"
Nice change of pace
I feel like they are supposed to be like nebby in sun and moon where they connect us to the gimmick groupmon paradox Pokémon if the leaks are true
yeah pretty much
If GF still tries to treat them like they're super important gods of time and you're the chosen one for being able to ride them, that would be awful. But if they (and by extension you) aren't treated like they're special, like they're minor nature deities who just pop up in town from time to time or something, that could actually be interesting.
Why would that be interesting?
It would be different, and personally I vastly prefer "local legends" like Ho-Oh & Lugia or the Tapus to literal gods. Small-scale stories and legends are more relatable than end of the world shit.
They did that with the legendary dogs.Stop being a fricking homosexual, homosexual.
People just know that zacian is super strong and don’t remember that in SS you just summon them and get to catch yours after you beat the opposite one. Also redditors love calling things god
Being different doesn't make it interesting, it's an entirely unrelated characterization. All you did was explain your personal preference, not a generalized or even popular one.
Did I ever claim it was anything other than my opinion? Because I wasn't trying to.
Anon, if it's supposed to be your opinion why even mention it? Who asked? And why word it with objective qualifiers?
Anon this thread began with an opinion that no one asked for. Then I post my own opinion that's related to the OP post, building on the topic. That's how these things typically go.
The thread's about the role they play in the story and importance, you sperged out over their deification and how interesting it'd be if they weren't interesting. And you used objective qualifiers, that's not how you state an opinion.
>The thread's about the role they play in the story and importance
Yes, that's why I talked about what role I want them to play in the story and how important I think they should be.
>you sperged out over their deification
Every example I gave involving deities were just that: examples. Maybe they won't fall under that classification at all, I don't know, the classification wasn't what my post was about.
>and how interesting it'd be if they weren't interesting
Yes.
>And you used objective qualifiers, that's not how you state an opinion
I did that because I'm tired. Sorry about that.
If your post is supposed to be about their role, try actually mentioning that. Hard to gleam context that doesn't exist in writing. Their status as deities has nothing to do with that and that's all you wrote about.
Ok, I'll rewrite my post.
>If GF still tries to *give them the role of* super important gods of time and you're the chosen one for being able to ride them, that would be awful. But if they (and by extension you) aren't treated like they're special, like they're *in the role of* minor nature deities who just pop up in town from time to time or something *for example*, that could actually be interesting.
There you go.
Now try again, except this time mention something that actually pertains to their role in the story and not fricking background fluff.
>Backstory isn't part of the story
Character backstories don't pertain to their role within the actual story in any way. correct. Those are entirely unrelated things.
Given that the trailer shows multiples of them, I’m assuming they’ll just be multiples in the canon and that they help trainers in this school move around or something.
that was just for the co op
>i honestly don't get it
Like usual it's just autistic pokemon fans b***hing at anything that isn't mindlessly rehashing the formula of previous gens.
If they weren't legendary I'd like them a lot but as it is the kind of feel a little over designed
I hope that they are “legendary” like Urshifu tier I am tired of box legends. Just don’t make any box legends available at all until DLC
>>its literally a jobmon legendary
god why did they make her so fricking sexy in the trailer
Legendaries started being a joke after gen 1. Honestly I have no clue why people play anything but gen 1.
They were a joke even in Gen 1.
>Legendary Pokemon are these exceptionally rare Pokemon with unidentified, presumably vast power! You'd be lucky to find one and be even luckier to get your hands on one!
>also btw the strongest legendary pokemon and strongest pokemon in general as of this moment is a manmade fighting machine abomination, hope you kept the "never fails" ball with an M on it for the Pokemon whose name starts with M to trivialize any and all challenge involved xD
GENWUNNER ALERT lol worst take ever
They are literally animals with motorcycle wheels added to their testicles and throat and even use their legs while also spinning their wheels to move.
This franchise is fricking dead.
i like miraidon
They're garbage furbait designs. Funny how they got rid of attractive 18+ female characters to pander to the pedos, homos (redundant), troons, and dogfrickers.
Was Miraidon's type leaked? I've only seen Koraidon's typing from other anons mentioning it.
Electric dragon
Thank you
I'm not sure how I feel about them.
GF has drifted away from legendaries as gods and more toward them just being creatures that exist and happen to be really powerful.
