Since it's the one nustarwars game that we get once every now and then that isn't total ass I can't complain about it that much. I wish it was less puzzle and monster and more wrecking the Empire
All in all I think the star wars video games handled being raped by garden gnomes better than the films.
>can't download off gamepass
gay
at least it gives you a goth gf eventually
7/10
And then the game fucking ends
>7/10
My bad, I meant 0.7/10
Its decent but for the level of production quality it really should have been better than it was.
it feels rushed. typical ea product
Absolutely embarassing
>tfw tortanic is literally the end of an era
>tfw tortanic is still somehow the only Star Wars game that's still trying to channel that feelsgood Star Wars energy of the past
I hate garden gnomes so much it's unreal
its been known disney garden gnomes HATE video games
I can't not see the gay kid from shameless
it seemed amazing at first but when i finished it i felt like there was something missing. the final level was underwhelming too
> felt like there was something missing
Yep that would be the depth part!
Depth comes from picking up new weapons and equipment that changes the game significant ways. Like moving in another axis/direction. Like when Link obtained the super gauntlets that can lift the black stones in Link to the Past. It lets you warp to new places and get new items or heart containers. Which increases your survivability. Aesthetics do not increase that stat.
That's force powers and BD upgrades. And the dual saber to a lesser extent.
You get those as part of beating the story, I’m talking about after you beat it and you have time to do some exploration. All that is left is cosmetics bro. There is some cool places to explore, but they are all for nought.
and lack of fast travel makes it annoying to backtrack, since it's all hallways
Yes, I agree.
The day I beat it I went to the EA forums and told them I liked it and am willing to play more games that are like it despite weird things that was in it. I couldn’t stay long obviously because I noticed tons of lgbt posters were in their forums talking about acceptance and more sexual assault ideas that they have. And I realized that that place just isn’t for me or anyone normal for that matter.
The black woman although they did her very well, is just not the kind of Star Wars experience I want to have. It’s like some kind of overreach from the black community groups out there that feel the need to stick a black woman as our mentor. With that said, there are moments where you miss first person shooting elements from its predecessor computer games, and the cosmetic changes weren;t really that interesting to collect. I had hoped to have collected things that gave more depth, and that’s really just the main issue. Too much aesthetic, not enough 3D depth feeling.
I'm like 5 hours in and it feels incredibly jank. I will hit enemies from the side only to get teleported into colliding with their head for a ramming attack or get hit after parrying a dude because another dude was attacking. it feels like a weird mismatch of locked-on animations and regular hitbox based combat. Also the monsters are lame asf. I think I just don't like star wars anymore. It's always the same stuff and the high level mooks are the same ones I've been killing for 20 years.
You didn't really finish it because you got bored of it after 2 hours in.
Great single play through game
I Liked it, hopefully Stig Asmussen does make another good game with the sequel and ignores the cringe Sam Maggs novel.
It's a dishonest game.
>illusion of size: the amount of traversable terrain is very small
>illusion of exploration: just nooks with cosmetics
>illusion of nonlinearity: you can go to dathomir right away but can't do anything until you're supposed to go there
>illusion of skill: too easy to cheese enemies, too janky to fight "fair" most of the time
Also the banter sucks and the girls are butt ugly for no reason, only merrin is kinda cute
you can get the dual saber early gay
>>muh no eXPloration!!!
It was alright.
it was a good game until the latter levels.
For whatever reason the ps4 version i played not too long ago had horrendous input lag. Also the final boss sucked balls and apparently you had to use jump attacks to easily beat her.
I don't give a hot shit about star wars but it was fun I guess. The moron lady looks more like an alien than the actual aliens which was fucking uncanny.
Mid souls-like game with DW skin. Kind of boring an unmemorable like all of Disney wars.
I liked it it's a good game but I hate that it fell for the "soulsborne" meme combat though they did a good job at it, game is way too linear didn't feel like I was exploring, characters we're kinda meh, story was lacking some depth like i really didn't pay much to it it had no high moments till the end. I would only recommend it if you're a fan of the star wars setting or some souls clone combat fan
A jank piece of trash with bad combat and shitty platforming. Even Sands of Time had better platforming that this cancer.
Looks like the sequel is just as janky.
it was worth the playthrough. felt like the game didnt really start until the last few areas and then it was over. you think poncho’s are a dumb outfit and you wish they’d just take the formula for this game and make something entirely unrelated to the skywalker saga.
you will play the sequel when its available to you for $30 or less
The only good Star Wars games are ones where you could play as the Sith. So basically KOTOR and SWTOR.
