Act 2 is like... oh huh...
Act 3 is like....... I'm gonna play to thr end but please end quickly
Act 3 was pretty great. I think Act 2 should have been a bit longer or better. Act 1 was my favorite.
>Act 3 was pretty great.
wrong opinion
Whatever you say, P03
it wouldn't have been a big deal if it was spruced in but the first act is just so much cooler than the rest
smart on their part tho so less refunds
inject 20 hours of act 1 into my veins
The game should've just been like Act 1 for the whole duration, the mood was fricking amazing, Act 3 could've been great but it kinda felt lacking in atmosphere
Act 1 is the best but I like the other acts too
Mechanically speaking yes, I loved act 2, it reminded me of the gameboy pokemon TCG games, the game itself in all 3 acts are pretty fun, but the cringey lore it tries to jam down your throat kills the fun.
Act 2 was my favorite, I loved the JRPG-ness of it. Act 3 was okay, it was the least interesting aesthetically and the only thing I liked in it more than the rest of the game were the meta bosses. I'd pay for a full on Act 2 style JRPG card battle game.
see
The 2 pokemon TCG gameboy games are pure kino
Yea Act 2 wouldve been way better if it was longer, but I felt like the decks didnt really interact with each other meaningfully enough.
Also too many mechanics dropped in at once
The game would have been better if it didn't try to push the shitty ARG narrative and just had the world and acts as eras of who was in control of their reality or whatever. It was hard to want to play because it got so cringey trying to have some kind of deep lore that was obviously only there to try and profit off of the whole undertale and five nights at freddies kind of 'super secret lore' that keeps the autistic fans engaged for years.
The lore had started from the very first games the dev did, he was always more interested in playing with the meta aspect of gaming from the start, I blame Devolver for making Inscryption too popular and not giving people a heads up of what to expect.
That's the devs fault for trying to put his shitty story onto a legitimately fun game.
I really hated the 2D visuals, it went from pretty decent indie 3D to some le quirky intentionally pseudo bad pixelshit.
>he hates nes type graphics but loves early 3d type graphics
all you pixel haters are the same, both art styles are equally uninspired and shit if you look at it from a doomer perspective.
Months later and you’re still crying. Get better taste or fricking kys b***h. We know you’re the same homosexual that always cries about act 2&3 because no one else posts about this game anymore except (you). Frick off moron.
The story cutscenes were obscenely cringe and boring.
Act 1 was an inferior STS.
Act 2 became brain dead once you realised auto filling your deck was enough to beat anything.
Act 3 was interesting but far too long and being reset was irritating.
7/10 game for me.
STS is a 9 for reference.
You can say it fell off but I am at least glad the dev realised act 1 was the best part of the game
At least you can mod it. There is some pretty amazing stuff out there. https://youtu.be/SE2dvCXFa6Y
