i just used bomb arrows from a height they couldn't reach, then phantom ganon comes out. i managed to beat him, but it took me by surprise and i was having a hard time getting flurry attacks, so i just whittled him down with my stalnox horn broadsword (38 atk) and went through a lot of healing items and eventually felled him. felt very satisfying. doesn't killing him affect hestu's quest line?
>15 thousand hearts >already taken gloom damage >starts midway into the fight where the player feverishly reached for the record button so he could shitpost with his "pshh totally easy" bugged AI strats
im not sure how you think posting a webm with that many hearts in it when most people will get surprised by the first phantom with less than 6 or 7 hearts.
i only beat him a couple of hours ago on about the second try by putting a hydrant on the edge and swinging an electric rod at the hands and then played Jojos by using Yunobo as a Stand shield to block his arrows and poke
>browsing on a 4k TV as a monitor with a box this large and magically knowing when is a good time to start a new paragraph other than the traditional new section

fusing gloom weapons with other gloom weapons gives some fucking ridiculous damage output
like 80+ attack rating weapons, shits fucking nuts
just stack some sunny foods and you are good, holy SHIT
Easier than the hands. He fights like a SS boss, ie his speed feels like it was designed around players having to react by moving rather than pressing a button. Absolute one note flurry rush bait. Honestly easier than the OoT and WW Phantom Ganons.
>enemy is literally all eyes >don't think to just blind it
I just tried freezing a hand and noticed it kept them in place and kept doing it until phantom ganon appeared. Why didn't I think of that
>spends six years posting bugged yuzu webms >will spend the next six years posting bugged rujinx webms
What causes this severe state of mental retardation?
>retards always blame the exploitable AI on the emulator with no basis when that's never the case
just like when people kept saying hitting the archer bokoblins in botw over and over while they do nothing was an emulator glitch, when that's just how they were programmed
I killed phantom ganon on my second attempt. with 8 hearts. it wasn't very memorable so I don't even remember what I did, I think some headshots and a flurry rush were all it took.
it took me awhile to kill him because he kept hitting me after i failed flurry rushes. i finally just resorted to poking him and using spacing getting in headshots when i could. used all my healing prepared food just about. intense meeting
I died to him twice on my first encounter, after that he never hit me, except for the castle battle, they really should've saved random spawn Ganon til after you beat them
Not me. I got frustrated by the lack of storage space and spent every resource available to get the Deku Tree back up so Hetsu could upgrade my melee inventory. Made the doing 3/4 temples so much better.
Honestly i found him easier then the Gloomhands, as long as you can keep a offensive up his gloom puddle will be nonexistent and the issue with the hands is that it is several of them (also their weakness once you figure out to use AoE attacks.), when he spawns you can just focus on him alone. But i am pretty biased because it took fucking ages for me to stumble on my first set of Gloom Hands, at which point i was already powerful enough to take them and i was more surprised with how good the rewards (Gloom Weapons) were for such a easy battle.
Gonna be honest, the Filter would probably be the Gleeoks if you ask me since i engaged the one on Hylia Bridge early on and noped the fuck out and ran away like a pussy when it started flying and bombarning shit, but i still found them to be fun fights.
I still haven't seen him, does he only pop up from killing the hands underground? I've killed them twice with bomb arrow spam in the overworld and nothing happened afterward.
For whatever reason my first kill on the hands didn't spawn him. So when i fought them again later in a cave i was really surprised when he popped out. But tbh he's way easier than the hands. His moves are very simple are easily flurried.
I already had tier 3 armor upgrades by the time I faced a Phantom Ganon. It's truly laughable how little damage he does, and that he doesn't even apply gloom
The hands are unironically harder to fight because unless you're able to keep your distance they just crowd you and rape you to death
Phantom Ganon is actually easier even if he does huge damage because he's just one guy who telegraphs his attacks who can get Flurry Rush'd to death
Aside from bomb arrows Rijus effect is effective against them, pain to talk to her during the fights though. IDK why they didn't just bind her action while you have a bow out
>Be me >get the game early thanks to leaks >actual first generation switch so not emushit or bugs >share discoveries with anons >some anons taking about going to the Deku forest for the Master sword >Go there with like 6 hearts >hands rape me >after some attemps kill hands with death robots >Phantom Ganon rapes me >learn by my own you can Cheeshe the hands with bombs >Still do killer robots >i die like 5 times before finally beating him
You can become absurdly strong in this game, and when that happends Phantom Ganon becomes a Joke but Jesus if my first fight with him wasn't magical
I don't understand these phantom ganons, when I faced the first one I killed it without taking damage. I don't know if I was lucky or if they are actually easier to fight than the silver boblokins you find on the map. Or maybe the phantom ganons get stronger and stronger, I don't know.
Phantom ganons hit like a motherfucker but they also telegraph their attacks really well regardless of what type of Phantom Ganon you're fighting so it's easy to trigger the counter flurry.
The bokoblins have a lot of very rapid attacks with little windup so on paper they're less of a threat but the high tier ones will bitchslap you for getting cocky.
Because odds are it's all the same dude and it's because he probably fucked up and actually died while trying to make a "dude look how easy the combat is" webm.
Think like the guy that faked owning Splatoon but he fucked up because he put the wrong screen on the Wii U tablet.
i wasn't able to kill the hands until way way later so i didn't even see him
i just used bomb arrows from a height they couldn't reach, then phantom ganon comes out. i managed to beat him, but it took me by surprise and i was having a hard time getting flurry attacks, so i just whittled him down with my stalnox horn broadsword (38 atk) and went through a lot of healing items and eventually felled him. felt very satisfying. doesn't killing him affect hestu's quest line?
yeah when info came out that bombs worked it wasn't that bad. just using shield works fine to not get hurt. and yes in the deku tree
The rape hands are harder than him
It didn't filter me, but it did scare the shit out of me every time it happened.
>Filtered
Wuh? He has like the most basic attacks that're beyond easy to flurry rush.
not all of us can consistently flurry rush
First phase was harder when I didn't think to just AoE
Second phase is just perfect dodge bait with super telegraphed swings
Died a small handful of times to being shit at actually dodging but pretty cool.
>who got filtered by this?
No one who regularly plays videogame, so probably most people who played this game.
this absolutely never happened to me when i faced him
>NO IT'S PERFECT STOP
>LISTEN TO MY EXCUSES FOR BAD GAME DESIGN CHUD!!!!
get help
because you didn't attempt this very basic exploit?
probably not, which no players are going to figure out
i found your usage of spacing and long reach on the spear to be interesting
mass replying gay is a massive gay
Spears have been overpowered since BoTW and the combat/mechanics/gear system never changed between games

Every time someone defends this game there's reddit spacing
Really boggles the mind
>paragraph spacing is now somehow a reddit thing
>muh reddit spacing
the final cope of the dipshit with no argument

How the FUCK are you supposed to actually escape the Hands once they catch up to you?
hit "-"
teleport away
dazzle fruit
>enemy is literally all eyes
>don't think to just blind it
I just tried freezing a hand and noticed it kept them in place and kept doing it until phantom ganon appeared. Why didn't I think of that
Killing the hands was more luck then skill so naturally I died after seeing him for 3 seconds.

What the fuck this is literally a Souls game
Ds3

nah i liked the random stuff, got me spooked really hard the first time
i'm not sure this post works as a reply to those posts
Not me. I got frustrated by the lack of storage space and spent every resource available to get the Deku Tree back up so Hetsu could upgrade my melee inventory. Made the doing 3/4 temples so much better.

have not challenged any gleeoks yet. i did take down two lynels today. i am really enjoying the fusion system
I still haven't seen him, does he only pop up from killing the hands underground? I've killed them twice with bomb arrow spam in the overworld and nothing happened afterward.
he spawned outside of taki-ihaban shrine for me after i took down the hands
Somewhat related, but using a metric ton of Gibdo bones on arrows to heatshot opponents into oblivion is fantastic.
For whatever reason my first kill on the hands didn't spawn him. So when i fought them again later in a cave i was really surprised when he popped out. But tbh he's way easier than the hands. His moves are very simple are easily flurried.
>Shoot him in the head with arrow
ez pz
I already had tier 3 armor upgrades by the time I faced a Phantom Ganon. It's truly laughable how little damage he does, and that he doesn't even apply gloom
the gloom under him does though, sapped like half my hearts
Can you not photograph gloom hands for the compendium or am I missing something?
The hands are unironically harder to fight because unless you're able to keep your distance they just crowd you and rape you to death
Phantom Ganon is actually easier even if he does huge damage because he's just one guy who telegraphs his attacks who can get Flurry Rush'd to death
>climb something
>spam arrow bombs
too easy
I've never died to those gay hands because of this, what a huge oversight.
Didn't ask, but yeah once I realized you can do this I never had trouble with the hands again
>Get gloom resist armor
>Get lvl 2 for passive
>It's still shit
I thought at the very least I could use gloom weapons with out it draining health
Aside from bomb arrows Rijus effect is effective against them, pain to talk to her during the fights though. IDK why they didn't just bind her action while you have a bow out
90% of encounters are literally just stat checks
>tfw already had the Master Sword by the time I ever had to meaningfully deal with gloom hands

>Still do killer robots
>i die like 5 times before finally beating him
You can become absurdly strong in this game, and when that happends Phantom Ganon becomes a Joke but Jesus if my first fight with him wasn't magical
Gloom hands reminded me of deadhand
Phantom Ganon is easier than the hands.

I shot him in the head over and over again
I'm 60 hours in and just found out how busted the skelehand + skelehand fusion combo is. I damn near OHKO'd a Stalnox.
I have literally never fused two weapons together I always assumed it was pointless.
For me it’s giant boomerang+gleeok element piece
>he didn't make long long spear
>Totk has broken hearts from binding of isaac
why do all the webms trying to showcase how easy the combat is all show proof on the minimap that the player already died?
Because odds are it's all the same dude and it's because he probably fucked up and actually died while trying to make a "dude look how easy the combat is" webm.
Think like the guy that faked owning Splatoon but he fucked up because he put the wrong screen on the Wii U tablet.
I never died to the hands
Just get right in the middle of them and spam spin attack with 1h sword
Spin to win
