The OST is the shit. Also, for some reason, the game itself its really satisfying to play, the units skills, the rage stuff, the spells, cheesing left and right. It do gets a bit too repetitive during the endgame.
>really want to like the game series >every cool unit you have is gone forever once it dies
why? just make them pricy
Cheat/mod. IIRC there was one mod that let you buy reinforcements at double price. Gives the game a lot of replayability.
I checked my browser history since I replayed Warriors of the North last year. Mod should be around here http://forum.fulqrumpublishing.com/forumdisplay.php?f=180, the new publisher copied the old forum and all the shit is still there (or was a year ago). Just double check you're getting the mod for the correct game and version.
Silly anon, if you learn necromancy and/or time magic, your precious red dragons will stay with you forever and ever. Also the sacrifice->resurrection loop allows you to get units for free.
2 is a pretty good game, if you aren't expecting it to be a continuation of any of the original mechanics. In the original, people would do all kinds of crazy challenges (single dragon run etc), which you just can't do in 2.
Before it dies I wanted to tell you that you're based anon
You too Anon. It was worth a try.
Great games, even if flawed. Even the last one, despise being buggy, incomplete and made by a different studio.
Good game. Zoomers will not understand. Even KB2 was pretty good.
Crossworlds was fun too, but IMHO it started going downhill from then
Unironically very good and comfy game.
For some reason it felt like it was made with love.
Also this one is the best music theme in the game
Gigasoul right here.
This thread is on it's way to page 10 anyway, here's some music recommendation no one asked for.

i will try to mod it then, i really want to play the games

dude this song is so good at getting me pumped up
I remember this theme plays on the Elf Continent. Really amazing track.
Legend and Crossworlds were great.
my brother loved this series and re-played it on no end
he died of the Rona last year, miss him dearly every day and still can't believe it
Remember him and what good memories you made with him anon. Stay strong

That is very close to how it works in real life Anon.
yeah it's garbage

Played all of them, now slowly playing 2.
It's not as good, but i picked the paladin girl and she cute so i will manage.

I have more than 200h in the legend but never beat it. I always get bored in the elf area, should i just play the other ones?
They're basically the same games
Warrior > Mage > Paladin
Don't even try to fight me, you don't have enough leadership
Who needs leadership if you can cast spells twice per turn?
Alright, fair point. Mage can stay.
