There's a slow trickle of amateur players rising up into ASL over time. Especially as older players retire or go to the military to open up space. I think the Flash free years are probably going to be some of the most interesting in ASL history.
Is Kimchi supposed to be hot? I tried one Kimchi instant noodle in a bag and didn't expect it to be so spicy.
Last time I tried it was more sour than spicy tbqh. Just a bit of spice. Maybe you're not used to hot food?
It can be pretty spicy. Koreans are generally pretty keen on spicy food.
I missed Group A to C live sadly and watched them later. First time I've gotten up early enough for it.

im not too smart but i think it'll be soulkey/JyJ, but i hope both terrans advance.
DDasik is doomed. It's a tossup if it's sSak or JyJ gets through. JyJ is the stronger player so SK-JyJ is most likely.
SK is some weird wild-card player who can win big or flunk out early though. So its' entirely possible he gets knocked out.
That would be my guess too.
sSak if good enough that he could advance but I'd rank him below Soulkey and JyJ.
DDasik doesn't have much of a chance but in a BO1 sometimes a weaker player can cheese their way to victory.

Supposedly his style is more in line with the Korean casting, which is just stating what is happening on screen. Then they do extensive detailed post-game break downs. Whereas Tastosis do break downs during the game as well which means they have these blank spots where nothing to talk about post game but the Koreans are going on and on.
Tasteless and Artosis are washed up bloated fat gen-x losers at this point. They had so much energy in the early GOMTV days but have clearly grown to just going through the motions now. They're just parasitical lazy e-celebs at this point. I can't stand cultural parasites like that.

Devourers in ZvZ is rare but not unheard of. I can recall seeing one built in an ASL game with one a few years ago. It got killed by scourge almost immediately and then they lost the game.

Charon is the ferryman to the afterlife. A "booster" for Charon would be something that sends you to death after.
I'd say it's because the rockets are being "carried" farther.

They are contracted to Twitch as partners, which forbids them from streaming in any other platform. Afreeca won't let anyone else re-stream their shows unless it's on afreeca. Thsu they're caught in a bind and the compromize is that they will cast them a few days later.

I've got a medium sized partnered channel and this is actually horseshit. You're only forbidden from holding a stream concurrently on both twitch and another platform, you can otherwise stream on youtube or elsewhere all you want.

First time I've seen Z ahead in supply but then lose.
He simply failed to keep the marine ball occupied before it could make its way to the natural. He's got good micro skills but knowing when to bait and pick off stray marines from the marauding M&M ball is one of the mainstays of midgame Zerg strategy.
He needed sunkens and to shave off some of the marines.
Normally a zerg player would've had some zerglings and sunken colonies to slow down or stop the M+M ball when it gets to the natural

I know very little about different countries' military services, but I reckon they probably adjust and suit the stuff they do in accordance to whatever threat level they perceive. Maybe if North Korea starts missile tests again, then the military services will be more intense. I dunno, I'm just talking about shit I know very little about, lel. I also had compulsory military training where I live but I got out of it by getting a letter from my doctor about my epilepsy.

when youre in the military, you do have free time to watch other pros play, can play yourself, interact with other pros to talk/scrim, etc. as long as he doesnt make money from anything besides the military, he's not breaking korean law (unless im moronic and this law isnt real)
he's not in the field for 18hours a day digging trenches and laying minefields. he's probably some pencilpusher like 90% of military personnel.

im not the most wellversed, but every military service i've heard of gives you downtime of some kind unless youre deep in shit. maybe penal groups in the USSR didnt have freetime, but i dont know or care about soviets.

Probably. It's not like they're Taiwan where they constantly get saber-rattling speeches from foreign politicians about invasions and shit.
Taiwan would suffer immensely from a Chinese attack (though actually winning seems impossible). But SK is the top dog compared to NK which is small and pathetic. NK would shell cities and cause destruction and casualties, but SK's counter would kill millions.
