Mabinogi uses some strong Celtic lore or it used to at least. Ealy bosses used to be like this, now they look like some generic monster mash from some anime.
I remember being so hyped to play it for some reason. A friend and I had a sleepover the night before its release to play it together as soon as it was available. If I remember correctly, they ended up delaying the release at the last moment.
Too bad they're stupid and completely lost their presence in the MMO market. I mean yes they're still pumping out low quality garbage, but they don't have any major hits besides BDO, and that game is just sad. They were really dominating the genre at one point, and they aren't anymore. Zoomers don't know Korean MMOs the way we used to.
I believe they still do have presence, only the platform has shifted from PC to Mobile
There are a surprising number of Korean Mobile MMOs; most being Mobile versions of older MMOs
Not the login screen but close enough. Apparently the t3fun version of the game closed down this year and the steam version is the new main NA/EU/Singapore version but no account transfers from the t3fun version.
Why is one using Celtic knots in the title what is that game about
It's a game by nexon that derives some of its creatures from celtic lore iirc

I miss Dragonica.
All garbage except Ragnarok Online
Does Tales of Pirates still exist?
Stop, don't do this to me.
If only BDO wasn't p2w, it'd be the best fricking mmo ever.
>no Dragon Nest
shit list
Man there's been so many variations of the mabinogi login theme that I forgot what the original sounded like.
Brings back a lot of good memories every time I listen to it

they went full mobile games, just look, all the old games went for the mobile rework
Korean games were always predatory, so it's normal they went full mobile cashgrab. Plus, MMOs are dead everywhere.
more like private server
actually playing them in official servers is indoctrination

I regret not trying this out, it always looked unique and fun to have control of 3 different characters
