yes
no
Also, when did you figure it out?
Maybe not figured it out, but an inkling when Pericot followed Nachiroux back to alstella
After her hair got streaks of grey I really believed it until it was confirmed.
it was really, really obvious from the start
I don't think the game even pretends it isn't, the big reveal is just the 'how'
Different hair is one thing, but different eye color did throw me off
I actually like how these witch games don't treat the audience like morons in that way 3bh, it treats most reveals like everyone already knew that or at least figured it out by now except for the REALLY unexpected ones
Start of act 2 when she did the laugh there was also a throwaway line about recruiting people from Eureka's village.
The hunchback did it pose for me.
For real though, they made this girl way too moe
>Hunched pose
>Shark teeth
>Torn leggings
>Never leaves the house
>Rarely bathes
>Resting bitch face
>Masturbates with a broomstick frequently
>Sarcastic voice
>Described as pissing herself when the count threatened her, and vomiting when Euru's guards punched her
She is gross in such an endearing way.
smol Nachi is cute! CUTE!!!
When Marta did the "I don't remember the fantie upgrade wink wink nudge nudge help me out here" to Nachiroux.
When they stood next to each other with the hunched back and the massive fucking tits.
since the beginning because of the similar posture.
maybe
I got all 35 curio and bocklin still tells me to kick rocks
Don't tell me I gotta kill the Cloud of diarrhea again
Yes.
You're not a casual are you?
It's literally the most annoying fucking fight in the game.
One of your guys dies every time a cloud dies.
Literally makes me go flaccid just thinking about it.
While I do appreciate that you pretty much have all the tools for character building open to you at that point, it's still probably the worst fight in the game. Carrying a sandbag pact just to make it fightable just doesn't feel very satisfying.
I'll be honest with you mother fuckers, If I found a woman as strong as Nacho's mother her looks wouldn't deter me.
A woman like that is hard to come by. Hardship shapes a person's soul like exercise shapes a person's body.
The dog-face thing is nowhere near as bad as dealing with some hot whore with Bipolar Disorder.
Believe me I've been there.
I've dated ugly chicks. They will suck your dick like you would not believe. Pretty girl will just lay there maybe go KYAAA but she won't work for it. She doesn't have to. Ugly chick? She's gonna be dynamite.
>Fantie's had enough of her shit
>All he can do is nod furiously
I always selected 'Deny' because I thought that it made that funny uncaring eyelid face.
in some scenes it does when agreeing leaves the normal eye sprite
Question;
Why is every male in the game an unrepentant villian, regardless of any and all causality? Not so much an incel gripe as much as curiosity.
Because all witches are bratty and are in need of correction.
How are Marc, Pumpleton and Bisto unrepentant villains
You're right that Marc was fine.
Pumpleton was a glowie pedo.
Bisto tried to kill his wife
Yeah but Pumpleton was very repentant, and Bisto is also hard to frame as pure villian considering the circumstances
It's difficult to repent as a glowie pedo. All he does after attempting to, and failing to molest our main character ammounts to "sorry haha" and then he offscreen teaches a doll how to read and write, which while is pretty nice of him, it's also somewhat unnerving in context. Thankfully I hope to assume he didn't do anything to Pericot due to her being a puppet.
Bisto. Is he a pure villain? No. Is he repentant? No. He was an abusive alcoholic who tried to kill his wife. That's certainly enough to be portrayed as villainous, even if he technically had motive.
The man who fucked Neri at least 3 times is pretty based.
Bocklin's our guy.
Hans is actually kind of justified, as well as cooperative with Marta.
Maybe I missed something about Norton, but he wasn't he alright if not obnoxious?
Grandpa is based.
Marc was also supposed to be framed as generally pretty good.
fantie(me) is a pretty decent guy
because the games are written by a yurifag and everyone knows yuricucks hate men, this ain't rocket science
Geaux was actually a good guy in the bigger picture. Your crippled perspective and witchwank just keep you from seeing how he was fighting for the survival of the whole existence. Playing around with a few witches is just a fair compensation for all the work he put in behind the scenes.
What work? The dude just wanted to save himself and move to one of the worlds that didn't get swarmed by eldritch horrors every other week, and he didn't care how many corpses he had to make (and penetrate) in order to do that.
The skip after Nachiroux gives Ceci the last curio is unintentionally hilarious. After all the hardship, Nachi basically goes full retard, then ends up in prison for 100 years and dies as an old bat doing nothing. They have to revive her so she can actually do something lmao
That whole segment fucked me up. Coming back after a 20 year timeskip after being told that she would only be gone for 2 months only for things to get even worse made it hard for me to sleep after going through most of Act 2 in one sitting. The memory-gaslighting and everything with Pericot just made it even sadder.
So the Moon Society:
>Ghilruda: Jobs to you and gets turned into a rat, dies after
>Mirage: Killed by Geaux
>Bloody Scarlet: Fights Cecilia. Dies from it?
>Lan: Raped and killed by Geaux
>Doris: Geaux spun her around with her pigtails until her scalp tore off
>Coral-Sallie: Survives and helps Nachiroux later
>Nelliru: Gets punched and burned to death by Geaux in front of you
>Clarisstia: Did a hyped battle with Geaux only to job and die right after
>Kitcat: Jobs and dies against Ghilruda, but somehow gets revived as a cat with black magic powers
Why are they such jobbers? Half of them got killed by one guy.
The weak should fear the strong.
Mirage didn't really die. She died in the same sense that Cecilia died at the in the middle of act 2, it was merely a projection.
Otherwise the Yggasradilians are nothing to mess with.
The biggest jobber is Nachi. Summon Fantie or I'll scream, wench.
*Mirage was a hologram* and Kitcat was worn out from beating geaux when she got Ghilruda'd, right? other than that I thought it was strange that Scarlet was the only one who seemed to be doing alright and she didn't even have a portrait.
Cecilia was the one that 'killed' Geaux as she needed Nachi alive to get the last Curio
I didn't even realize that. It makes more sense why Faus's kid looks exactly like herself.
That makes sense too. I assumed the shadowy figure that appeared in the shop was Kitcat, but either one makes sense. Kitcat still jobbed against those terrorists earlier on anyways I thought.
No but nobody was going to beat Cecilia anyways. Scarlet just didn't disappoint as hard as Clarisstia.
For Scarlet, is it shown anywhere the conclusion of her fight with Cecilia? I got a flashback of her fighting and then dragging Cecilia into a blood river, but I assume she lost since Cecilia is still alive later. Is this a postgame thing?
Lolno. You just have to assume the worst. Cecilia is implied to be centuries old, she couldn't be a pushover.
How the fuck does Nachi go from pathetic and can't do anything without the brigade to this?
almost four millennia of suffering
it seems like the best witches just learn and grow by themselves in isolation like Dulche, Uruka, furia, metallia, and nachi were all by themselves for extended periods of time and all become the strongest thing in their setting
Ghilruda didn't die either, she's Faus/Four.G's "mother"
That sounds like headcanon
it makes a lot of sense, just think about it, these games have a lot of shit like that
it's also confirmed in the artbook Q&A, dummy
Man these are some dumb names
scarlet is painted as the quintessential ungatard that only knows how to attack plainly it would be obvious she would job to anything that slightly counters that like donkeyman's body mana aura shit, or you know, basic countermeasure magic like ceci's
clariss wasn't all that much better, she also got ambushed and she was already worn out from who knows what earlier
then there's more than half of the moon society not really being specced for combat
During Clarisstia's fight with Geaux, she intentionally weakens her magic halfway through to "make him suffer more" and Geaux comments he was about to die before Clariss gets shot. She probably could have killed him if she didn't go retard, idk why she was unprepared for interference since she knew the Society had a traitor
Should i make an Aster Ashe or just make another shinobushi?
I like the Ashe as their speed increase skill makes them great very stunners later down the line.
>ancient evil status: defeated
>pet dog status: alive
>relationship with mom status: good
>smile status: protected
her vagina bones are dangerous
>world recreated, reunion finally happened
>everything going good
>lolno you have to disappear now
Was that kick in the balls really necessary?
>real nacho dies while creating? fake world
>fake nacho dies while creating new world
yes
I've made peace with Nachi's death by reasoning that she had a death wish anyway. She intentionally didn't drink the elixir or get another one so there's no other conclusion other than she wanted to die eventually. The original Nachi got to live to like 130 something anyway.
honestly it's probably not far from the truth, neets tend to have dogshit self esteem and feel they don't "deserve" to live, especially when she was self aware she was awful to her mom but didn't know how to make amends
she also pulled similar shit with the terrorist shit to save kit alongside clariss, handing over the curio to trigger the apocalypse of both worlds and having her mom die regardless wouldn't have made things any better for her psyche either
if anything it's surprising she lasted that long without killing herself out of despair
she didn't need the eilxir to be immortal. the tree tribe are a bunch of mary sues.
how come she croaks then
head canon: she got booted from server because she wasn't originally from there. for many eons, all she did was made sure the server didn't get shut down until eury went and reboot it.
she has super magic aids/cancer, it's probably that and she still lived a really long time
>didn't drink the elixir
She didn't drink it because she needed it to save Eureka. It was part of the plan sadly.
Elixirs aren't rare, the society had more of them. Apparently in the Q&A, they deliberately say that Nachi didn't drink it out of some guilt about not growing old that she had with her ugly mother or some bullshit like that
She didn't get much of a choice to change her mind on that with all the shit that happens to her and ending up in prison too. Even if it was a dumb idea at first why she didn't do it that she would have changed her mind on she never got that chance.
I mean, in the Q&A they say the reason she disappears is because she's from the World Tree Tribe, like how Cecelia and Geaux do not reappear. Maybe she was just really sleepy.
Someone really needs to fully translate this Q&A. How can the shitty translators leave this out when it apparently answers such critical questions for the game.
was it ever post it anywhere? i can ocr and deepL it; it'll be better than nothing.
something I've learned while fanslating shit is that it takes way more time to formulate and retype a sentence than it takes to understand the original, so even something small ends up taking way more time than expected
the size of this might be daunting unless they're really dedicated
The ending is memory-Eureka making her own world through retard magic, and making a new memory-Nachi to live happily ever after with.
>Beat the superbosses in Refrain one by one for the true ending
>Retard me:"Man this is so easy, I just unga bunga and stack my DPS buffs all the time to win!"
>Fight Furfur
>Insta kills me multiple times
What the fuck is this bullshit? How do I beat or cheese this disgusting demon cunt. Here is my pact set up with 99 lvl characters and best equipment.
>2 White rose pacts
>Theatrical star pact.
>Veteran pact
>Witch Squad pact
Which pacts are good enough to grind so I can kill this bitch? So far this set up served me well. Should I focus on Zlavic?
Furfur is considered the hardest of the page bosses iirc
Is there a certain strat to beat her or is it all luck?
Not him, but I remember using a shield/prevention donum in every turn.
That's what I did, but she uses her overlord eyes and then kills half my squad. Might grind the charmer pacts and have high AVD so they dodge that shit.
please respond
You need to survive as she gets weaker
I'm at the pillars in galleria manor. What's a good place to start leveling fast to 99 to transfer and raise soul level?
literally that very same area
Is there a good spot? randomly running around fighting birds?
Just ungabunga the pillars, stockpile that and go beat some mushrooms before the mana overflows.
The best spot in Galleria Manor isn't unlocked until you beat all the pillars I believe. On the path to the Manor's final boss, there's a side path on the right with lots of mobs and seemingly high chance to spawn silver bitterns or eggs that hatch into gold bitterns.
Other than that, you're stuck fighting regular mobs there.
you can't unlock the bittern corner yet so yeah just running around at random
not like you can go to cartiervita and the penis room in the apartments is going to give a bit too low exp for the point you're at, but still usable
most people think "le rng floors bad" and skip them, even when they take 5 mins a floor tops and easily overlevel you like no tomorrow to max soul clarity
>they didn't drastically overlevel in Cartiervita
Were you all just not using stockpile or something? I was getting frustrated with how fast my puppets were reaching 99 and I had to deal with transfer + reassign skills, I was reaching every fixed floor with like 4 million exp.
is this a porn game?
Just suffering porn.
Why can't they just make a happy end..
the main character and one of the villains are coomers
why did they make sprites for half of these?
I imagine that they were supposed to be proper NPCs like in the first game but got relegated to their little cameos. It would have been cool if the labyrinth was like Night in the Museum with all sorts of weird things that Cecilia and the Marquis had collected roaming the halls.
It feels like there's a lot of parts that could have used more budget. That part, the Society barely doing anything, Geaux killing half the Society off screen, the 100 year timeskip and what happened there. All feel like they were too minor or went too fast.
Are Kay and Faus the same person?
No, you might be thinking of Sallie who possesses Kay.
were those witches fucking each other then?
Sallie possesses toba though.
I just think their faces look really similar and their are both pregnant before the end of the world.
Sallie also possesses Kay at times.
I fucking cried at the end of refrain
Is it explained why Cecilia keeps getting miscarriages?
she put a small fraction of her soul in the wardrobe curio, which made it unstable
also not so subtly implied she kept miscarriaging due to her husband literally hitting her physically due to what galleria did to separate them and get her for himself
first was natural the rest were implied beatings by her husband
In Refrain do I ever get any good pacts at all?
Witch Corp pact, White Rose Pacts and Sheer Star Pact are really good. idk about post game shit tho. Check this out for pact shit.
https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/e/2PACX-1vQ4x0Qsfo_VX5DL6FiCI0l8USCZqYbUfjti7_9sYA_LLjSZhmlDvbbu9zTXUDq13QOniTWPQBBmB7dS/pubhtml#
What about endgame preps, what should I look out for?
Synthesize every shit weapon before you synthesize your strongest weapon, stockpile EXPs from the ringa metallicas in the link I sent you to get to lvl 99 faster. I got really OP weapons and characters doing it like this, but someone smarter than me could give you better tips.
refrain has some amazing early pacts compared to galleria. Pecorino's particularly I used through most of the game
I got her pact but you need someone in a support slot to use the offensive spells which also gives you a 50% increase in donum
am I missing something? Using just one or two spells burns my DP on that pact.
Charmer Pact dropped from some succubi monsters are all you need, its gamebreaking to the point you didnt beat the game if you use it.
What was up with Konyac and Marc? Is Marc possessing Konyac too?
I'm pretty sure Konyac was just a horny man. And I'm pretty sure there's only like 2 scenes where Marc possesses Konyac. One where, he talks to Marta and reveals its him. And at the end of Act 1 where he's nice to Eureka and beats up Kay. Marc beats up Kay to have Sallie maintain control. Other than that I just think it was all Konyac being an old horny bastard. There is also one scene debatably where it could of been either. It's when Nachi and Eureka visit Konyac and he immediately wants Nachi to take off her coat.
Dude, you know exactly when it's him or not - eye color
If it's blue eyes it's Marc.
He was just kinda sperging out on his old crush there.
Has anyone translated the JP FAQ yet? Apparently it sheds light on some unanswered questions in the game.
https://mega.nz/folder/cFU31IZD#lfqIDp4Imv7sbiFt8zlNbA
I saw some fag translating them in a previous thread
Can't find it... I found one post translating three of them but nothing else
Are 1 puppet pacts just straight up worse than 3 puppet pacts? I got the Marquis pact but throwing 2 of my puppets to the back for it seems not worth it.
it's got good magic so it's worth using the 1 or 2 slots for magic pacts, you'll get better magic down the line in a 3 person pact but you can shit on dudes with it
Are the fighter and guardian pacts any good even though they are only 1 puppet ones?
Some 1 puppet pacts boost stats by 100%
I use those with the one puppet with my only good gear instead have having two other undergeared puppets.
Finished refrain so I'm ready to buy galleria, does the steam version have any issue like the previous game had?
It just werked for me.
Nice, gonna get it on steam then. Thanks anons. I loved refrain so much, I'm excited. Even if the story doesn't turn out to be as good I hope the OST is
I actually liked the story more. I think that you'll like it. After loving Refrain and waiting for the damn thing to get translated for two and a half years this game was a real treat.
OST is great. Some act 2 songs are really good, kinda reminds me of Disgaea 2 on how good they are.
>OST
it's good but I don't think it's strictly better
I finished all but the super long post game and had 0 issues so far.
I remember hearing issues with alt tabbing if you aren't playing it windowed, didnt have the issue myself.
which part are you exactly in? just beat the Marquis? Might have better pacts at this point it it's later. and if it's at that point don't worry about it just get those item requests done.
the story probably the best in the series, still really liked refrain's though
It's settled then.
>The "Chickenmeat survives and steals the screw back ending" is canon
Thank god I beat Bocklin before getting wallbreak.
now I really wish someone made an AI chatbot based on Nachi and tell her it's all going to be fine
>140 hours for a vague, unsatisfying, possibly a dream, ending
I hate it
Well? Are you enjoying yourself?
Y-yes.
......
ギャーーーッ!
Gyaaaaaa
Bros
What does it mean?
man, the music style in these games is really great
>Organ playing on the absolutely last map of the postgame
That shit hit me like a ton of bricks in refrain
It's obvious what it means.
Is this magic or the "someone" ever explained? And was Kitcat the cat the entire time, even in Alluna?
unless some part of the Q&A sheds some light into it, I don't think so
I think the stuff with the cat is probably something that got changed/rewritten at some point, it's the weirdest part of the game
galleria killed a black cat and ceci revived it (possibly made it immortal). the kitcat and the cat were ran over by a cart and because she had a lot witch potential inside of her, their souls merged.
>we will never get another labyrinth game
Give it some time. Refrain came out in 2016, and Galleria came out in Japan in 2020.
And Galleria sold really badly and shows clear signs of budget issues.
NIS games aren't made to sell
Galleria's main issue with budgets was getting fucked by Sony and going back to production when it was almost being released. The release ended up being delayed for over a year for whatever the fuck Sony did
i didn't know it was possible to hate sony and the westoid agenda more than i already did
How were we supposed to know this was Nachi's outfit through the entire game when the first time we see it is before the Grand Cathedral?
I thought she wore a long robe through most of the game.
It's a crime they didn't show off her shorts and stockings more.
huh, I tried hitting a bunch of buttons but there really isn't a way to hide the message box
>koreitou-chan
cute kitcat
wtf
him killing everyone off screen and then him dying too in the same event that was revealed was wtf
Yeah. It came out of nowhere since the Nachiroux portion is relatively lighthearted then all of a sudden this guy comes in and kills nearly all the shown witches. I was half expecting the society to reveal they had some ace in the hole and were actually all alive instead of being that pathetic.
>pathetic
it just shows how world changing tree people are. they are literally made to fuck up other realities.
That whole tribe is no good. They deserve a trip to the lamp fog showers.
I thought that they were the setting's equivalent of saiyans at first, but as 'members of the tribe' with big noses your comparison is much more apt.
use spoilers jesus
You will never have as much fun as he did.
>got to rape the witches as he pleased too
Truly a lucky man.
I'm pretty sure I've never seen this movie(?) but it feels familiar
what is it?
Mathilda.
I got the 5th Curio d'Art and now I'm stuck plz help
>step 1. Go inside a zone
>step 2. use Shine
>step 3. open map
>step 3. ehehe
go to narthex floor 1
go straight ahead without stopping
If you mean here, I'm still missing the bird key at the end of that path, so I figured I should be doing something else.
in that case go back to Apse 8
>ehehe
>eeheeheehee
are there any lesbian nuns in this one
there's a nun but she's straight and preggo
Just drink the elixir.
>already have a hard time getting into the mindset to make use of consumables in classic RPGs
>in this game, each consumable use in combat is locked behind one (1) expensive reinforce point
Is there actually a way to revive units without items? I've beaten the 2nd part final boss and am still jitter bugging people to revive.
One of the Liberation skills does that, partywide
support II secret crest seems to revive everyone
unless you mean specifically in battle, reinforcing in the menu can revive too
for 9 RF
just use a jitterbug
just use them for out-of-battle healing
Anyone else just play this game by infinitely grinding and not giving a shit about what you are "supposed to do"
yeah but story-locks get in the way
there's no "supposed to do" gameplay wise, you're given tools and punching bags to kill, not much else
if you mean story wise, no, i do the story normally as intended
I have no clue how I'm supposed to micromanage all these numbers
What am I supposed to do for endgame preps?
Does Geaux remember the things that happened in Alluna? Like Eury and Nachi helping him recover his true body and taking care of him
even if he did it doesn't seem like he'd be the type to care
the mirror nullifies all curses and enchantments, he recovered his memory the instant he got turned back into a human, all he needed was some time to getting used to being a human again
in game terms, the mirror is a dispel that purges debuffs
he most likely remembers, he's just too much of an asshole to be thankful, or who knows, maybe to an extent he was and that's why he didn't immediately shitstomp nacho
If he recovered his memory, why did he choose to help Ceci after she erased his memory and let him live as a donkey?
who's to say she didn't immediately mindwipe him again when they met? he still believed "oh it only works on females lmao, oh shit" until the end
her powers ARE bullshit OP
Cecilia probably re-erased his memories, and did that a third time to use him to fight Marta. As you might recall he assumed that Cecilia's magic could only be used on women, despite it being used on him at least once before.
I believe i've reached the non post game conclusion of the game. My current dungeon unlcocked is the garden, after the 100 year sentence.
I have a question, that while not spoiling anything, is spoiler in nature.
The game veered wildly in pacing and storytelling after the end of act 1, and not nessicarily in a good way. While overall, I have enjoyed the game greatly, bad translation and the slow unravelling and logic and proper story structure has slowly unwound any kind of trackable logic. Should I simply write it off at this point, and simply understand that anything can make sense, for any reason at all, simply because its "magic?"
Kinda yeah. Some stuff barely makes sense, like how the memory Alluna even exists in the first place and doing things there affects reality
memory shit feels like there's some internal consistency in how it makes sense but it was just poorly explained
its established in hundred knight that its incredibly easy to make new worlds metallia even creates a new mirror world inside of hundred knight to correct the one she's in by building a shit ton of karma in that world then destroying it to make the original world more malleable or something to that effect its confusing but its there. she probably explains it best in game and it seems like the meta world logic is consistent across games.
yeah sounds pretty on par with other otaku culture to a point, and honestly not all that confusing if you get used to it, because temporary worlds don't need to be full universes, just temporary realms where the indefinite goop between worlds is temporarily given form
it also helps metallia is pretty strong to do it all things considered
she makes the mirror world at her lowest after getting her shit handed to her by Lucchini's dad but you are right hundred knight may be a huge factor in the making of the new world which means the UP crystal that nacho ate as a kid could've helped her make it. Or just having a lot of mana around.
pretty sure eating the UP candy actually crippled nacho by forcing all her mana to get locked into sustaining her own existence instead of being able to use it normally, like having a punctured gas tank on a car
not only she's a birdfag, she's also luca's daughter, which is pretty much a recipe for a fairly strong witch
Two things to consider is that Metallia isn't human, so definitely stronger than the average witch, and that the Hundred Knight is a part of Niike, so its basically on basically on par with the whole gang of world ending monsters
it was created similar to how uru was created, with eury's guidance and nachi's tree powers.
Kind of. Somethings like Cecilia's motivations and goal are cleared up. Some things are still vague like Nachiroux's real mom, but there is at least a good theory for that one.
Someone tell me that the next game will have a happy ending.
No one in the entire plot of the game tried jogging or restoring Cecilia's memories before the end? There's so many points that could have entirely avoided the shitstorms if done slightly differently. How could this possibly have been the best prophecy?
to be fair i don't think anyone would have expected her to have been dumb enough to mindwipe herself
I mean Eureu IS just another Eureka... ehehe
Did anyone else even know that she had fucked her own memory except for Nachi at the end?
Different writer, but Hundred Witch 2 also takes place in a memory world.
memory manipulation magic was thought to be impossible. ceci had impossible powers.
>have been the best prophecy
look at picrel and tell me that was the brightest oracle for the job
A true retard no matter the universe or iteration
considering what could've happened to luca and metallia things could be much much worse than a full restart where mostly everyone but nachi, clariss, and eureka are happy
It's not the best prophecy, it's the best she could find before time is up. Also her clairvoyance can't see what the world tree clan members can do. So she knew nothing about Cecilia
Prince and Goutman feel like they both had stuff cut
Goutman was clearly working with the reporter and was part of their foreign helper
Same with the gaps where you find the curios d'art the 2nd time around, where a bunch of NPCs with sprites show up, say some lines, and then are never heard from again.
end spoilers question/confirmation
Cecilia bumps into baby Nachi flying between worlds, sending herself to Almoon and Nachi to Alstella. This event also causes the birth of the Oracle in both worlds? What originally caused Almoon and Alstella to split/be created?
The bump is what caused the world to be split
>shinomashira with group range swords
>group range sword in both hands
>omoplata for extra hit against stunned
>rush for extra 5-8 hits against stunned
I have killed myself several times doing this shit, worth it.
I love Eurika so fucking much
If only you knew how bad things are...
it can always be worse
Pumpleton looks scary but he is actually very nice to kids.
Pumpleton might be an asshole, but he likes them big assets, no kids for him
Yeah, I don't think he ever showed much interest that way in Nachi before she got these knockers
post the happy one
How happy you want it
The happiest you’ve got
Needs Metallica
So out of 10, how lewd is this game?
100
If the nobles are supposed to be evil then why does the nice queen keep inviting orphans over for dinner?
So how do i walk through this lines? i already did the apartments and everything and even though i was able to grab the curios in the 8th floor i can't seem to get past these arrows.
There should be a petition to have a chance to ignore the arrows
Do i need all upgrades to get past those arrows?
No you shouldn't need all upgrades, I just forgot when the petition is unlocked, but it will be there
Okay thanks, my game crashed and i have to do all that shit again, am I close to finishing the game yet? after the apartments, im not so sure i want to go through 3000+ randomly generated floors to reach the true ending...
You won't get the ability to go through those arrows until much later. Ignore those and look for whatever you're looking for elsewhere. If you haven't, check the bottom floor of Narthex.
I wish I could make a Eureka "EEEEEEEH!?" compilation. She's so adorable.
What was up with Fantie randomly getting pulled into the cat in the first act?
We needed to see a 50 year old woman getting her pubes shaved by her lesbian maid.
it's hard to revive things with their souls fully intact, so it ended up with room for other tenants to occupy.
>Natures affect stats, rapport, and fighting style
Is there anywhere that I can read more about this before I start making my first characters?
Just go with your gut, it isn't major enough to be game-changing.
stats you are given a chart in-game
rapport is mostly flavor if anything
fighting style changes is a lie, stance does far more than natures do
TLDR: natures are for role playing and autistic minmaxing for marginal increases of power
natures are impermanent. just choose what you think looks good. you can change them through mechanics later on, or even nature books somewhat early. you even get more later on so it's not a big deal.
i ran moon stance on all my damage dealers, but according to fellows here, that's generally not the best idea, and you're better off only using mages in moon stance, and of course tanks in sun stance.
K-kino...
>Those are supposed to be boys
It's the little things.
What is that autist party? Did you grind gear for all of them?
I just slapped awakening pact on two guys and called it a day. Hell, I was stilling using mage pact too.
I just slap on whatever random trash I get and so far it's been working out fine.
I'm carried by the casters since most of my other weapons have around 500 ATK
What is ur soul clarity?
58 across the board, about to pick my final classes.
Final because I can't handle soul transferring and selecting skills for 40 characters anymore
dmp spells takes the average dmp of your coven. Your undergeared mages are dragging down your one good mage with the sage lamp.
That's fine, they look cute together.
Hidden eyes
Hidden dong
clown bussy
How do you play this shit with the obnoxious voices? I can tolerate shitty chibi portraits because they don't match the art style but the voices are grating.
go back to your westoid movie games, it's that easy
I'll keep playing and you can suck my balls gay.
Nachiroux is fine. Eureka needs to shut up.
The town bicycle
The 100 year old virgin
3781 year old virgin
we need an edit of beavis at his grave replaced with nachi

How do you think he would fare in Galleria (assuming he wouldn't turn into a Monster like Galleria does to all humans)?
Who?
The bane of walls.
At the very least he would make Gartan seethe.
I never got the impression that the monsters are anything crazy powerful either, I imagine him and Adol would do fine as long as they don't fall for the man eating part of the wardrobe.
>as they don't fall for the man eating part of the wardrobe
Technically all the wardrobe does is move you to the Labyrinth and back. The going back part kills people due to the difference in mana between the labyrinth and the surface, kinda like how you could explode from the pressure if you're in a malfunctioning submarine.
A proper witch should be able to move using the wardrobe without any issues.
There is no more labyrinth, only a bunch of open floors.
The pace at which the grand cathedral equip drops scales is almost overwhelming. Kind of tempted to turn off item acquisition for synth fodder
FUCK YOU GARTAN MAKING ME HAVE TO BACKTRACK TO THOSE FUCKING MOON SWITCHES FUCKING BULLSHIT
Just beat Refrain, where the fuck has this series been in my life? Thank you anons for posting Daily Galleria threads, time for me to beat buy it next.
>never exercises
>lies in bed all day
>doesn't bathe
>looks like this
Im not buying any Disgaea game until they include characters from Galleria and Refrain.
>putting fog of flesh on the big family pact
Ah yes, sacrifice the pet first.
>an invisible enemy jumps me
>it has 5 fucking things that cast AoE instakills plus some beefy counterfags, one of which is in that powered up state
Cartiervita can be impressively miserable sometimes
Do you mean the teleporting big mobs? Gotta make sure to always keep fog veil there. Although it was hilarious, I got so overleveled from Cartiervita that those things were running away from me.
nah, it wasn't an FOE, just a random ass normal enemy that was invisible for some reason
Pretty sure that should never happen unless you don't have dowsing shit or you have stench.
well shoot, one of my guys did have stench for some reason
didn't know it did that
I don't think that's a thing unless you stink.
is there a weapon spreadsheet or something? I want to use dual wield single hand scrolls, but I haven't seen any since the beginning of the game.
My wonder viade is slinging a synthesized cracked arts that I've been upgrading but it only had 6 synths lol
People said you get more 1-handed scroll near the end of the game, thats a lie lmao. I'm currently gearing up for the Act 3 final boss and the only 1 handed scrolls I've found so where the one at Cartevita.
where can i check at cartievieta? floor drops or enemy, I'll just have to hope i get a multi synth one
I really dont remember, I just remember having 1 epic rarity 1-handed scrolls with 8 synths from Cartevita and I kept upgrading it till the endgame.
damn, guess i'll have to just look around
Just checked my inventory and apparently i have another one aswell. Judging from the base damage i'd say its from the early layers of the final ACT 3, some might say post-game dungeon.
these random floors are really starting to get on my nerves
I had a random floor that had a pitfall behind a door.
>get to a non-random floor
>open a door
>fall
Art really imitates art.
>anon can literally see there's nothing behind the walls on the right side of the map
>still breaks not one, not two, but THREE walls to confirm, yep, it's a pitfall
I actually tried that a few times in the non random maps since there were a few curios hidden behind weird walls and blind spots
But it's full retard to do that in random floors, yeah.
because I thought there's no way it's actually going to just give me a floor with no way to move forward
It's insanely rare but does seem to be possible yes.
the apartments at least had a real banger of a music track, the music in cartiervita is really fucking grating
>the apartments at least had a real banger of a music track
Yeah but unfortunately getting into a battle resets it so I kept hearing just the first few seconds.
Who is the most retarded person in Galleria? Like made the absolute dumbest decisions
Probably Ghilda or Visto
It feels like my asshole is eating itself from this scene. I feel like things are going to go downhill. FAST.
have fun
INT +5
WIS -10
Even with +10 INT Eureka is still retarded
>Tried to look up Eureka and Nachi's VAs
>They only ever got small/ non-important roles in their career so far
pain
They'll get more roles soon... right?
it's been 3 years since Galleria released in japan, bro...
I can't believe Cecilia destroyed the world because she forgot the original peaceful goal she had for her dead children due to... intentionally memory wiping herself.
It's just a mindbogglingly stupid thing.
Shes the woman, the egg and the golden goose. All in 1 package.
Wait hold on, i remember seeing this game way back on my logal gaming magazine for the PS2. Are they re-releasing it now?
yes
No PC?
>NO PC
god fucking dammit NIS i like your games but stop making this shit console only, its fucking 2023
It'll come later. It always does. Even if it doesn't there's emulation.
That's not NIS to blame, it's more like Vanillaware and NISA's incompetence
Velkuvrana's Heart or The Witch Who Forgot Her Name?
Oh no, Eureka did it with Ro too? What a shameless wench
She did it with everyone that asked nicely, basically.
No, he's just trying to figure out why she can see him.
>kidnap a witch for ransom money
>she takes off her panties and starts talking about her rape fantasies
Please just give us the money so we can leave
After her first meeting with Nacho i was pleasantly surprised she turned out to be one of the nicer characters in the game. She really gave off the "nice outside, nasty inside" vibe when you first met her.
For all the hyping of Clarisstia that the game does the only real feat we see her do is busting out Kitcat against the no names, but was even helped by Nachiroux there. She does nearly nothing else besides lose and die
https://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/TheWorfEffect
Disappointed by the fight with Geaux. I thought it'd be a lot harder considering previous deeds but it took less time than big mobs.
It really makes the player FEEL like a godlike astral being who hasn't gotten to directly interact with plot characters to a meaningful extent.
just goes to show how strong fantie and the brigade is. Its no wonder trying to summon us directly sucks the fucking life out of them from the mana it costs
in fairness hes spent most of it fighting people who suck at fighting or underestimate him
when suddenly 15 fully armed souped up bros in a row pop up, his ass is gonna get beat like a bowl of eggs
her head is one of the trolls from refrain
More than 15 if count support. Yeah, pretty much private army. It's not fair 1v1. Or 5v5... whatever.
Single juiced up puppet could take him on as well I bet
Is it expanded in the postgame what happens to Ceci and Pericot after they leave?
They lose their memories and live happily ever after as mother and daughter in the new Alstella :')
probably went else where so that pericot wouldn't get affected by creation of uru; something that ceci, nachi, and geaux were immune to (we didn't see them get rerolled).
they came back after uru was created and met up with bisto. he sorta gets his memories back during the exchange.
?t=23495
will the next game have less suffering
i can't take anymore
I doubt it.
According to Steam numbers, Galleria did better than Refrain and Disgaea 6 at least
I wasnt really around when refrain released, did it generate as many threads as galleria did?
Not sure how many it did but it had quite a few threads, going by the archive in 2018.
it had hype yes, but only for about a week
at this point these threads have been a thing for basically a full month and only now they are slowing down
>Every fixed floor in Cartiervita past some point has a door that leads into a fucking pit.
Veeeeeery funny Gartan
Was Gartan even the one that made the Apartment and Cartiervita? Also wtf was up with the Wiccards? Was it ever explained what they actually are?
No, and they were probably just minions of ceci.
No but he's the one that I choose to blame.
It was his cousins Cartan and Apartan
No but he looks funny and therefore is to blame for every single one of my pitfall death.
they were procedurally generated by the poorly trained almoon-GPT. wiccards are basically the labyrinth's alarm system that activate and call for security when someone is near.
So you're saying Gartans are jannies and Wiccards are jannie wannabes?
even worst, wiccards are karens
>After the discordance Nachiroux pushes Eureka away, only for Eureka to spend 3000 years searching for Nachiroux again anyway
>Meanwhile Nachiroux has been training off of Velkuvranas and Discordances and has turned into an omnipotent immortal being with the power to create worlds
>Nachiroux eventually forgets everything and has to get beaten to half death to remember things, and then runs out of power while recreating the world and dies
So if Nachiroux simply didn't push Eureka away and she had Eureka to keep her sane while training to be a god, she could have recreated the world with enough power left to keep her existence?
Gartan dungeons are fun and full of soul
Just look at Nachi's who just makes it random 3650 times in a row.
Please can we start appreciating Gartan's hard work and stop breaking down his carefully hand-crafted artisan walls.
I like the walls Gartan make, they're pleasant to break.
I wouldnt blame Nachi, Grand Cathedral was make to keep out all kinds of unimaginable universal threats for three thousand years.
did nacho make the grand cathedral? i feel like its implied to be there before her
How good could his walls be if they break so easily?
the name of this game keeps making me think it's by project moon, and the shitty artstyle reminds me of SEQUEL
I stopped playing when I got to the 2nd apartment sets
Seriously fuck that
The previous backtracking areas in almoon were already a pain in the ass
Bro, your express ticket?
>filtered by the 15 minute train dungeon
Do I need to play previous game before this?
no
>your ticket, bro???
>20 minutes later
>WTF PILLARS ARE OP HOW DO I GET EXP
Skill issue. I used the pillars as part of my nightmare XP stockpile.
>he isn't stepping foot on cartiervita with everyone at level 99 and soul clarity 20
do you even nightmare stockpile bro?
>get to ending
>feel empty inside
Started post game in the grand corridor and the mobs are fleeing from me, lmao
Lmao. Try fighting Vetton. He's worth a ton of xp and drops a really cool item. He should be running away from you too but he has a unique symbol on the map. Bocklin is watching, take the fight.
>Accidently used Biouvac on a poison tile
>Woops thanks god my fog veil is still u-
>Wore out immediately after the first turn, I could only watch my parties spent 29 turns on a poison tile burning to death.
>Eureka leads the brigade
just spend RF healing everyone then biouvac again
also, bunkering yourself in a corner with seal walls is better than fog veil, though i recommend using both regardless
can i beat up bocklin
he could beat you up, if he felt like it
What Mysterious pact do?
it gets spells as you level it
Are they good spells?
it's basically tractie sending the white rose pact from refrain into another world to help fantie, yes i'm aware both are technically the same entity, which is the point
the transference was imperfect, but the pact is still strong
>Cecilia gets to live with a child she always wanted
I can't believe the big bad gets a better ending than Nachiroux and Eureka kek
I swear they do this on purpose
Give me your best Fantie edits
saved from someone else's
>this world with just me sucks so I will magic my child to a better one
>surely there can't be a world worse than the one I'm in
it's fucked up how badly everything goes from the tiniest most meaningless shit
apparently the entire plot kickstarts because cecilia was flying drunk and bumped into nachiroux, which is why she landed half dead in alluna while nachi was found by nina in alstella
I'm doing Becklin's request and i need 3 extra rare Tail Feather in the Crimson Transcept is there any spot with a lot treasures there? It's kind of pain.
Not really. I used the easy FOEs in the area to level some pacts while I was at it.
>lower left
if nachi didn't fix her, she should be disowned
Bottom right is hot
Assuming the panda is a joke, only the bottom left is really ugly. Heck, bottom right is pretty nice.
is it just me or does the alstella section feel rushed
it's probably just you, it's not like the same thing hasn't been posted like 3 times by now in this thread alone
haven't really seen anyone else with the same opinion
did you save a thumbnail
Delicious in Labyrinth
>Discordance meat
would it even be safe to eat
would it even be solid
>absentmindedly mouse over spoiler text and images unintentionally before even beating the game
I was afraid the threads for the game would be littered with spoilers like most Ganker discussion so I avoided all threads until I reached post game.
the right choice really
From what I've seen, people have been tagging spoilers pretty consistently. I'm pleasantly surprised, not gonna lie.
To be honest, most of the time, spoiled plot points hit hard anyway once you get to witness them by yourself. This is primaraly due to the fact that almost everything leading up to that gets omitted and just the high/lowlight gets posted.
What was the point of Hans?
honest huntergod, doesn't care just wants to hoont
I'm pretty sure he engaged in banditry too anon.
Of course an honest bandit is still better than the nobility.
at least a bandit robs you face to face
sometimes they straight up rob your face
All men in these games exist to make you think the girls are going to get raped and murdered
to represent the violent and self serving side the revolution. marta used him for setting things up as well i think.
konyac creeped me the fuck out
>can't find that fancy lamp you get early in the game
oh fuck, what did I do with it
Sage lamp?
Have you checked all your puppets anon?
I wouldn't think you'd be dumb enough to dissemble it.
It ain't there, haven't dissembled any weapons. I'm genuinely wondering if I lost it dying to a FOE like 40 hours ago because I've definitely opened the chest it's in. This is fucking Eureu's fault.
Did you unseal it anon? I had mine sealed just chilling in my inventory
I need more Dungeon Crawlers with sexy enemy designs.
I need porn of the succubus(male)
I remember there was special way to get Sea Salt for request? What is it?
First area of the gardens, unless you feel like hunting down a specific FOE repeatedly.
I hunted foe with Treasure seeker donum it dropped 2 of 2 times.
Now for FUCKING 26 red gems.
That's easy actually. Just set up some mud exits at the little church with tons of sparkles around in the gardens.
It was easy, just tedious. Also one time i actually, for the first time in game, got one of my puppet captured. But i just restarted from auto save. I'm not sure it even possible to save it because there no hideout on this map as far as i know it.
best way to get sea salt is to go down to lowest floor in narthex, go to the land in the bottom left corner after all the water, in the deepest part of that chamber it spawns an ogre thing with a good chance of spawning a sea salt mob too
What was up with Konyac and Marc? How did Marc become Konyac?
Galleria would be a 10/10 game if either the combat was better or if the combat was "worse"
The bizarre convoluted state the combat is in these games though really makes them suffer. Still a solid 8/10 though.
It's pretty far from 8/10 for me. It has promise but the shoestring budget really ruins the experience. The quality takes a huge dive after act 1 with the randomly generated dungeons with 0 enemy variety, the non-existent boss enemies (recycled common enemies), awful story pacing and badly fleshed out story with a lot of story characters not even having sprites.
Finally finished the game and no matter what everybody else say, I believe Nachi is alive and out there. somewhere....
I will forever remember this game as the first game to ever make me cry, not just once but multiple times throughout its story. Nachi, Eury and Marta will forever have a special place in my heart as my favorite female protags. I will never forget this game.
>I believe Nachi is alive and out there. somewhere....
Anon the real Nachi is dead and the world her corpse was in was destroyed. The best you can hope for is that her inferior clone might have survived somehow.
I've cried at the end of Refrain.
>You cannot carry any more Rock!
Then give me the fucking feathers
Hoping someone will post the full bestiary.
you just want to see boobies don't you
other than the red gems, is it safe to sell things until I have only 10 or so left?
Pretty sure. Sometimes they ask 3 of same thing but i do not remember more than that other than those 23 stones.
Which (you) do you like most?
the one one the left looks balding zoomed in like that
For me, it's Tractie.
I loved hundred knight cause it would show emotions and do autonomous shit like pushing a convulsing Metallia off her bed to sleep or trying to kill metallia for summoning him, and it had its own little personality of being a lil gluttonous retard.
All me btw.
I'm still at the second apartment but I accidentally ran into this map on the internet
is this the bullshit awating me?
that looks a lot worse than it actually is.
Best map in the game
>When you realize there's something chasing you, and it can break the fucking walls.
So Fantie is actually Tractie, right?
Think so, it's supposed to be the same wondering spirit aka (you)
They're (you)
they're both (You) so yeah
fantie is much cuter and nonchalant looking
Too bad there no indication how much % of map you discovered. No way to know for sure if you explored all of it or missing something.
>enemy group is just a single purple toy robot with an angry face
I have never been more intimidated in my life
>already at 90 hours
>only about halfway through Cartier
am I just bad at this game
No need to rush, enjoy the ride
I clocked over 160 hours after finishing everything, take your time.
>I was surprised at the astonishing number of floors in the Grand Cathedral. Why did you create such an egregious labyrinth? (Sad).
>This is a bit off topic, but we originally planned to have a special silhouette demo for the current "True End," and to have all the trophies and the story completely end there. The Grand Cathedral was positioned as the end content after the True End, and the number of levels was also chosen because of the meaning of "endless trials for the creation of the world. However, for various reasons, we had no choice but to simplify the true ending, and at the same time, the story did not feel like it was closed neatly there. Also, the number of levels is not well adjusted for the game. I am very sorry for this situation.
lol
really sucks how much dev issues the game had but for what its worth adding in more labyrinths wasnt the problem lol
Please post the whole thing anon
if you'll pay me 10 bucks an hour sure
ive only done 3 pages. my method fucking sucks but i don't know a faster/better way. ill try to finish it tomorrow unless someone beats me to it.
I did half of one page but if you're already at 3 pages I'm leaving it to you good luck
im going to bed
have at it if you want
https://pastebin.com/4ySpfKxj
I guess Refrain's official name is Lefmyo now
I tried OCRing the Q&A but it's having trouble because the text isn't straight or something lmao
what did she mean by this
nachi's a coomer
How are you people able to get so far? I'm still technically on the first dungeon, while I've turned to grinding the second part due to just now getting Long Jump.
easy, the only things I do in life are work and play my autistic niche vidya
I played about 30 hours in the first weekend I had the game
once I got to part 2 I played probably 18 hours a day until I beat it
I can give the Q&A a shot, but it'll be in unga bunga English because I don't feel like thinking about prose and composing sentences, ok?
also I won't be touching questions past where I am in the game forgot the name but the dungeon after the manor pillars
pastebin.com/D90JB3ub
gotta head out now but will continue later if I don't forget
When is it ever efficient to use Moon Stance in Refrain? I've seen some people saying that bell Shinobushi are busted with it, or others that Mazes are op with it, or others that the HP loss is simply never worth it.
I'm preparing to fight the superbosses so I need all the power I can get.
Also, the writers REALLY hated Dronya what the fuck.
>Enjoyed both games
>No chance of a 3rd game
Just give me one last witch adventure NIS. You can die forever, I don't care about Disgaea.
I honestly never used Moon Stance.
>I'm preparing to fight the superbosses so I need all the power I can get.
Gothic coppelias with the dismemberment skills are your friends. Transfer those skills to different classes with high DPS like Aster Knights. Some endgame pacts are just too strong like White Rose pacts, so use these if you ever get them.
>>No chance of a 3rd game
NIS is probably gonna die with all the stupid shit they've been doing for the past 5 years.
D4 was their last good Disgaea game.
But Galleria IS the third game unless you specifically want a 3rd DRPG in which case lol
>But Galleria IS the third game
Metallica's game doesn't count.
>spoiler
;_;
we forget hundred knight 2 exists
Wait, it does?
Different writer so it doesn't count.
Why did they even bother making a witch game without Izumi?
Maybe they didn't realize that the writing is what carried the first one.
>Also, the writers REALLY hated Dronya what the fuck.
That's just Izumi wanting to go full bittersweet or zetsubou.
3rd game will give our brave heroes a happy ending, I'm sure
not falling for that
How long until I get access to the burnt apartments again?
I'm currently in the garden, and while I can deal with the boss fights, every foray in is either a heavy or minor loss to my resources, it's not sustainable.
>find red event
>it's just Gartan channeling his inner Eureka
Also I've unlocked Famyu Seeker facet and their "Pursuit" skills aren't explained or elaborated on at all. What's "Pursuit" even? How does it even work? Is it like resonance, but magically triggers from support slot?
>Is it like resonance, but magically triggers from support slot?
Yeap.
