Why did so many people hype Eternal Ark when the farm maps are so garbage? Literally there is no good SS to farm. Last I remember, Project Orca has 30 SS and many of them are in B map instead of overtuned EX
with zone 2 it has a lot of bioroids that haven't been farmable until now like Sekhmet, JangHwa, CheonA, Salacia and Frigga assuming you can farm them. I don't think it's better than Project Orca, especially since the SS only maps could be auto'd basically forever without barracks filling up but it's still a good event with a lot of good shop rewards as well
it has a crazy shop with stuff like choco, and some of the stages drop units that are rarely farmable again (if ever).

Most of the mods are lewd ones, but as the other anon said things are already spice enough so your mileage may vary. I tried to install a KR mod to JP and it didn't work, when some units get added the IDs for the Bioroids get shuffled around and things stop working, and the modders are all from Discord so they prioritize getting KR stuff to work.
I dont think they are worth, part of the charm is how LO pushes the designs to the extreme like no other game without being H game.
If you want full nudity an H game would be better.
At the end of the day JP server is more convenient to play if you just dont want to deal with external patches to get an optimal experience or if you want to drop some bucks into the game.

There's 2 versions of Last origin on DMM/Fanza
One is Last Origin which is the slightly censored one and Last Origin R which isn't. Pay attention to that if anyone wants to play the JP version.
I'm the Anon that wrote that post: it's not like that actually, the one on Fanza has some noticeable and numerous censorships (it's the "non-ecchi" Korean version).
The R one on DMM is largely uncensored except for 6 or so skins that were still changed :off the top of my head, Draculina's swimsuit panties don't have a pussy outline and are a bit higher, while Audrey's swimsuit has an additional thong.

The main differences between the two servers are:

It's also worth noting that the English wiki is very outdated, so you will inevitably be driven to google translating Korean guides (or Japanese guides which are just translated reposts of Korean guides) no matter which server you play on.

I'll warn you; though this team can clear most content on full auto, to nullify risk from counterattackers you may need to take manual control. I see the 1-3EX stage or whatever on JP is causing grief, this team probably can't farm that comfortably if that's what you're looking for.
This is also not a cheapo farmer team, this is more suited for hard content.

The Elven Khanate Proxy Shotgun Sniper Team™. Part 1/X.
It's a synergistic Light unit team composed of all the Elven units and Khan with her bizarre unique equipment doing tank duty.
Strengths:
>Flexible: with different unit placements that you can change in the middle of fights or between waves, can become an AP pump AoE team or a precision strike nuke team
>AP Pumping: Khan provides AP if in the front, and every Elf is just spreading it teamwide
>Teamwide Buffs: and most of it is just built into their kits
>Safe: full EVA Khan is fricking busted and dodges everything not made to counter her in particular (a few mobs in later KR content), and Follow-up Attacks cannot be countered
>Consistent Damage: Dark Elven powerslides in after every move for an A1 support attack, and Sekh does good AoE damage and will crack open most basic "reduce damage of X amount of moves by Y" and ignores protection (which will allow Dark Elven to potentially snipe protected value targets early with her follow-up)
>+500-1000% Accuracy on Dark Elven after she misses a shot makes quick work of some of the most annoying enemies in the game
>Water Coverage: Elven can Wet the enemy with A1 if she needs to, which instakills some mob types and deals damage beyond their defenses to others, and leads to
>Buff Removal: Cerestia can A1 Wet enemies to remove their Buffs
>Debuff Removal: Cerestia's specialty; even if Sekhmet accidentally clips someone that counters and Marks her, Cerestia can just clear it and save her life
Weaknesses:
>No Fire: Chemical Chicks are a particular chokepoint
>Self-Damaging: don't try to auto stages with "Clear without taking X hits" and expect to come out with 4* - Cerestia's A2's team damage component will deny you
>Somewhat expensive to set up: requires Khan's unique equipment as a bare minimum, and the more upgraded everyone is the better
>Ignore Marked: relies on Marked as a mechanic to survive, and in the later patches some mobs ignore it

Gameplay against high EVA opponents and counterattackers:
>with the AP provided by Cerestia's A2 and Dark Elven's passives through synergy with Elven, Khan gets a very early turn
>Khan goes in and whiffs
>Khan gets counterattacked if the enemy can do that
>this enemy counterattack will whiff
>with the passive from Elven, which after Promotion syncs up with Dark Elven's S-promotion passive, Dark Elven performs a Follow-up Attack for Khan after the counter
>if it doesn't hit, Dark Elven now gets up to +1000% Accuracy
>Dark Elven does not get counterattacked due to Follow-Up Attacks being uncounterable
>either you loop this, or you go for the coup de grace with Dark Elven's now bullseyeing A2
>repeat for any similar nuisances, then clean house with Sekh
Against Cyclopses in particular:
>it's better to separate Elven and Khan, but Cyclopses deal shit for damage so it's not absolutely necessary
>if you want to play safe, move Khan to the back and keep Elven in the front
>snipe away
Man, this is more tiring than I thought... not sure what else to cover.
There's a lot of small details to add perhaps, like the fact that you can mix and match Khan to tank for other teams and switch the Elves to DPS for other tanks.
Depending on the stage, picks like Hirume, Ignis and Echidna can cover for the lack of Fire damage and tank threats Khan can't survive. If Khan is your best bet but you need that Fire, sub in a Faucre or anyone else for Sekh. Khan does not care what your unit type is like other tanks, she just draws fire.
Elven also has a stun that can come in clutch, on her A2. She just has to actually hit it. It also increases Fire Damage Taken.
Meanwhile though, Khan goes everywhere. She's a goddamn beast for 98% of content. Very worth the investment if you can get her.
And just to clarify, this isn't a super God tier secret korean arms grade meta team they don't want you to know about, but it gets the results I advertised. And I know you all got at least a couple of the elves sitting around, why not get the family together and make a team?
i am pretty sure elemental decks are meta in korea, like the Glacias deck that do 80% of Sanctum on auto pilot. Phys damage teams are hard countered by high defense enemies, who also come with def pen negation buff. You need a lot of investment to get 100 def pen. Meanwhile, ele team can show up with Leanne and Ella and get 100+ resist down, combined with some tanks and debuffers it basically doubles your damage. You can oneshot most contents
Yeah, I wasn't lying about that team not being meta. However, there's so many comps that can clear all content that you really shouldn't choke yourself over a metagame. It's a single player game, play your favorites.

This is totally bullshit. You can breed with bioroid but the half-human half-bioroid baby needs an extensive amount of body-adjusting surgery to help them survive and not to get crushed by their own bone-infused Origin Dust.
You were put into a bioroid body in order to prevent you from getting killed by a metal parasite since your brain was uncased in a metal shell to protect you from Hypno Disease.

So it's kinda like Hearthstone or Magic: the Gathering?
Nah, it's like Arknights but instead of doing dailies, you let the game run 24/7 to farm resource because there is no stamina/sanity/energy system. The upside is you don't roll with premium currency but with in-game resource
it's like an RPG: you have a party of up to 5 characters on a 3x3 grid, the enemies have a 3x3 grid too but usually have more than 5 characters, both allies and enemies get AP every turn and with enough of it can do an action like shooting the enemy or repositioning so the skills could reach. The tutorial is pretty good at explaining this even in a language you don't understand, but there is a patch for english language support.
For gaining new units, there's two options: grind an event stage where the unit drops, or roll the big crafting gacha that is a major resource sink and is known to make even the wealthiest whales and oldest farmers broke in mere hours, and then the unit they were rolling for gets featured as an event drop a few months later anyways. But those resources used in the gacha, it's not the premim currenct (tuna cans). Tuna is used mostly to expand your storage of units and equips, and to purchase skins for your units, and the skins are the main draw to the game.

Cyclops Princess grew on me in the latest event on KR, as she got to loosen up on the vampire act for a bit and plays an interesting role in the rescue team dynamic and between Brun and BP, and she by association elevated LRL to my attention (ironically despite LRL not even being present in the event). LRL's been there since day 1, and I've just never really thought much of her. Hell, I've been ignoring Squad 21 nearly completely in general, aside from ID.
I've also somehow gotten the Cyclops Princess skin for her along the way as a hand-out. Seems like destiny to me. Just had to make that team happen after the gang was all together. And yeah, that smile DESERVES to be the app icon.

Doesn't 5-8ex take an enormous amount of resource? Like easily 150+ per run if you need to level SS. And you need to let it runs all days.
Depends on your unit comp. As long as all the leechers are 0-link you should be fine for a bit. There are also drops in that stage you can dismantle. Once you're low on resources you can stop and switch to resource farming.
Its a viscous cycle. I like it for the sole fact I'm not limited by AP and there's barely any fomo.

Being the pushover she is, and fearing the breaking of the peace and friendship she's brokered for herself with her former enemy (as well as her magical chainsaw), she gets dragged into these plans, no buts.
In her side story and the last event they got screentime on, she's not really against the idea, but she'd really just like to get there at her own pace. Not under threat of chainsaw murder, not under the effects of Doctor's brainwashing experiment.

Well, I mean, what I remembered was that she sucked a lot previously, which is why I shelved her ages ago. She was a very niche line-protecting dodge tank without enough dodge or mitigation to perform beyond a point. Then I checked in on her earlier and noticed the Upgrade icon.
The rest was just checking the wiki, splurging some resources, and taking her for a challenge run test drive with a random team idea or two. She proceeded to outperform expectations while the team and I were a captive audience to a terror of infinite counters.
You can do that too. The one thing I may have had an edge on is knowing how some enemies' attacks hit so I could set the team up most advantageously and that she's supposed to be a dodge tank, and I got that from the wiki too. But the unit's stats, skill descriptions, and scaling with upgrade points will clue you in to that anyway if you're a testy type. Some characters' ATK or EVA or DEF is down in the dumps to begin with. Their good stat increases by 2 per point while others increase by 1, for example. Then you just gear 'em up around that.
Go check up on meta teams, see what makes them tick, see what works in your team, ask around here, etc,. You're gonna make it, bro.

Frick Valve, those Black folk can't balance their games too. I will never forgive them for what they did to Lyralei. She used to be able to break max speed and go zoom zoom across the map. They nerfed it to a pathetic speed on top of giving it a massive 3 seconds downtime.

And no, no guides from me beyond dump everything into EVA, give her your best and most upgraded EVA equipment, and throw her some Rice Cakes (the more upgraded the better, as the last part of her SS promo passive scales off of the RICE CAKE'S level). She doesn't defend other defenders, but attackers and supports of any type are okay.
But well, if she doesn't have her promotion on JP yet, disregard everything I said.
Where do you use eva tank in then? I am only in low zone Sanctum and they are all 500 acc each.
My Khan's around 504-544.4% EVA. She'd handle that still, albeit closely.
BaekTo would autohandle all opponents slightly below that (mine is at 425% EVA without help), and she can do a debuff that reduces ACU by -29%, while critting for free for around 30k on whatever swings at her. She eats a lot of the light armor high ACU threats for free with counters, while comfortably dodging heavy and flying threats. Even the lightning zappers and those elemental assault rifle squads fold to her.
But well, who's the threat? See if you can kill them, debuff them or buff your EVA tank more.
What I should have probably mentioned: Khan is level 112 and BaekTo is just 100. I wasn't gonna go nuts and throw all my resources on her for a quick fun test romp.
Now, though? I'm kinda interested in seeing how far she can go. I think she can clear 500 EVA before level 120, easy.

Dragon means Invincible Dragon, ID for short. You unlock her by clearing Main Story. as long as your ID is properly linked, has 100% crit chance when counting all the buffs, and has ATK and other equipment to kill all enemies you can make do. Maria needs nothing, except maybe equipment that debuff her own speed so you don't time with her active animations. Note this team comp is not enough if the enemy has passive that reduces damage to 1.

Just realized how ID works and I cleared out 1-1EX, then i cleared out 1-2EX with Eternity with manual control, and now the question is how can I farm 1-3EX without Ramiel? Because those toxic shooters require fire to kill in one shot and I don't have another copy of Ram to use for cheap farming later... I have the special cores ready if I have to setup her up.

if you are going to play JP you dont need an emulator, the fanza/dmm version has a PC client which comes with an official but still not released english translation, it is just a matter of change "jp." to "eng." with the registry editor.

i dont know exactly the rate, maybe it is 2.5% from the 5% that the SS rate has in the special production.
I just copied the 900/900/900 and 100 red parts recipe just for the shit and giggles and got her in the sixth try
I'm using the 100 special modules to get the SS rate to 20% and I'm still failing to get her, it's painful to get the units you want even on the rate up, what a bunch of shit. It frustrates me more since I managed to get other units that would be very hard to get with the 900/900/300x3/100 recipe like Salacia and Amphitrite. Managed to get a Draculina as well. Apparently the former two work really well together so I'm curious about

Good for farming tokens for events.
How good is she for actual hard contents like Sanctum?
She's pretty nice, and even nicer if you get her unique equipment. Both her skills remove Counterattack buffs, and her first skill removes Minimize Damage buffs. If she kills something she can stack a Battle Continuation up to 3 times, and each time one of those is used up she pumps AP into the whole team.
If she isn't under the effects of Target Protection or Follow-up Attack buffs, she can Ignore Protection. If she stacks her 2nd Passive, she can remove both Follow-up Attack and Target Protect buffs with both moves.
Then, if you combine her with LRL and do both their second skills, they inflict the rare Max Action Count -1 debuff, which is a big help for tough content.
If it's been buffed on JP already, if you get LRL's unique equipment, Cyclops will do a Follow-up Attack that corresponds with whatever active LRL used. So basically you can get that Max Action -1 debuff going in 1 round, on top of LRL's own AP debuffing, to shove the enemy's turns to next week.
Now, on KR, if you combine her with her big fat blind little sister, she becomes an invincible Damage Canceling, Battle Continuation-stacking Marked tank. Add her #1 fan in there and some assistance and you got yourself a solid-ass team for the endgame. If you can't find use for her on JP right now, keep her in mind, 'cause she's gonna be sick down the line.

They are technically one and the same, Cyclops is just Blind's more character developed reincarnated edition. Wouldn't have guessed at a glance, huh?
Cyclops is implied to have all BP's pre-Destruction War knowledge as a baseline, on top of her own lore additions and character development and experiences.
As such, she acts like BP's more mature big sister, scolding her for acting un-ladylike and crass, and looking after her (including checking in on Brunhild 'cause she knew what happened between them, and making sure she wasn't gonna napalm BP in a level of jealous dejected rage only someone created for such a stupid reason as her could feel, and offering her her ear and friendship if she needed it).
Pure fan theory territory here, but it's possible Cyclops never got to appear on screen (only in the comic), so she can relate to Brun more than she lets on. This might also fuel into why she's so smitten with LRL; LRL is a comic-only fan and she is her favorite character, which would probably be pretty uncommon and looked down upon considering what a bombshell gangbuster fan favorite BP is. This bratty vampire kid is supposed to be her replacement in the series? Man, what is the writing team thinking?

From my hazy memory, it goes something like this. Spoilers for long and korean content.
In the very beginning scene of the event, the player watches two mystery figures scrambling to send a distress call. After the scene is over, the Orca picks up a mayday being sent out.
The caller introduces herself, under the callsign Excalibur One, as Blind Princess, whose forces are on their last stand in a museum in London, suffering heavy casualties and desperately requesting aid.
Suspecting a Lemonade bait, the Commander calls for a meeting with the top brass military Bioroids.
One of them (maybe ID) recognizes it as a Black River callsign, but one of absolute peak VIP rank, and suspects it is a trap, as every Black River top official has been dead for over 100 years. The tech specialists confirm that it is indeed a Black River top level secure line call.
How did an unaffiliated actress Bioroid get access to that? Strange.
Still though, the Commander chooses to investigate, despite the fact that England is horrifically overrun with Parasites, regular wireless communication is impossible due to heavy jamming, and the threat of whatever's behind the call.
The brand power of the world famous Blind Princess would be a great asset in unifying all surviving Bioroids under the last human - and it is Christmas, and it would be against the Christmas spirit to ignore the pleas of those in need.
We're first introduced to her in Blind Princess's retellings of what her and her squad had gone through after the end of humanity. BP and a resistance force of Bioroids on their last leg are suddenly approached by a strange Pupp Head, who offers them shelter if they are willing to help it clear out some Iron Parasites.
This Pupp Head introduces itself as Merlin, and takes the Bioroids to a large fortified industrial facility it has nicknamed Camelot. They fight off the Parasites, and Merlin allows them to stay if they are willing to carry their weight and defend their shared home.
In time, the resistance force and Merlin (who never actually shows herself, and speaks with them through the Pupp Head) become the bestest of friends.
The Bioroids and Merlin's AGS forces maintain the facility, and life is somewhat stable for everyone again.
Suddenly, BETRAYAL! Merlin turns heel out of the blue, and threatens the Bioroids with death by AGS firing squad if they don't leave Camelot immediately.
Confused and outraged, Blind Princess demands to know why she'd betray her friends like this, and Merlin just gloats about being an evil Black River warmonger, and that they were fools to not see the deception coming.
Blind Princess and her resistance forces are back on the run again, and return to their wrecked old base in London.
Commander sends in a rag-tag extraction unit of Leanne (team leader and rescue operation pro), Ajax (analysis, planning and frontline brawn), Cyclops Princess (Blind Princess expert and heavy hitter), Phantom (covert ops) and Brunhild (she just asked to join for her own reasons) to investigate the call's legitimacy and origin through the old underwater channel tunnel running from Calais to Dover.
After they get out of the heavily defended channel tunnel, the Orca mix-match special unit runs into surprisingly little resistance. London and the roads leading to it seem positively barren, aside from some straggler Parasites.
The team finds Blind Princess relatively easily thanks to Cyclops' special Vampire Eyes™, and ask her about the distress call.
She does not remember sending any such thing; her and her forces were hiding in London at the time of the call, and haven't been at any museums.
The mystery thickens.
With the target and other survivors secured, the rescue team attempts to return back through the tunnel. The tunnel was previously heavily guarded, but now it is positively swarming with enemies. Return is impossible, so they have to make a run for it back to London to replan.
Back in momentary safety, they formulate a plan: split up, with one team erecting a beacon to both show their location to the Orca and draw in enemies, and the second trying to get in contact with the Orca for pickup and further planning.
With the information from the mission briefing and some deduction by Ajax and Leanne, the team figures out that Camelot is actually an old Black River facility, and the distress signal was sent from there. Camelot is the only place with a connection to the outside world, and thus the Orca.
It's time to go back home. To Camelot. In Portsmouth. By train.
With a rare glint of excited madness in her usually calm eyes, Ajax hatches a plan: the rescue team are going to use England's less guarded historical train tunnels to get to Portsmouth and siege Camelot, by fixing and tuning up an old London-Portsmouth train and crashing through Camelot's security barricades.
And so, they crash into Camelot and startle Merlin. Beginning a deadpan generic intruder warning message over the PA and sending her AGS to the scene, she suddenly notices a very righteously pissed BP with some very pissed new friends stomping around. She laughingly tells them to try and invade the new and improved Camelot if they dare, and as they are about to charge at the front entrance, Merlin fires an impractically huge laser cannon at the area, forcing the team to flee.
The team, under AGS fire, quickly come up with a plan to cut the power to the cannon to secure their entry, and charge into a power plant within the facility's walls.
Leanne, meanwhile, is beginning to question the motives of this "Merlin" figure. She could have wiped the entire intruder party out then and there if she wished, by either waiting a second more or by aiming the cannon properly.
The team enters the power plant. To their confusion, they find out that it is not a nuclear fusion plant, but a nuclear fission plant, which were already all out of commission ages ago when the Iron Parasites attacked.
Not only that, it's the most amateurishly built ramshackle power plant they have ever seen. It's like it was built to fail. Ajax goes for the controls, but there are none.
Gloating at how easily they are being played, Merlin closes the security hatches and begins sending in waves upon waves of AGS.
In stubborn defiance, the Princesses begin smashing through the steel walls of the plant, while the rest of the team defends them.
After a while, Phantom notices something: she is getting far more tired than she should be for the amount of fighting she's done.
The Princesses begin to notice too, and their arms and eyes are getting real heavy.
Ajax and Leanne realize gas is being poured in through the vents. Shit!
Merlin begins laughing and gloating about always being one step ahead, and how they should just surrender while they still can.
Everyone's getting real tired, and one by one they pass out from inhaling so much sleeping gas during all their exertion.
Except Ajax.
Ajax, perhaps in a previous event, had been under the tutelage of Mighty R, in the hopes of becoming the toughest secretary-bodyguard of all.
Eccentric as she is, Mighty R had taught her that you can eventually build a resistance to just about anything if you train yourself enough.
Ajax had taken this to heart, and had been dosing herself up with all manner of toxins to slowly build up resistances, so she could never be put out of commission, ever.
Facing the waves alone, guarding her sleeping friends, stands mighty and noble Ajax. Merlin commends her for her resilience, but tries to torture her into surrendering as well.
Wave after wave, a slowly tiring Ajax crushes the AGS, while Merlin tries to talk her into giving up. Her shoulder slumping and eyes closing from the gas kicking in, Ajax tries to think of ways to stay awake.
She smashes her head on her shield, on the walls, everywhere, the stinging pain and drawing of blood rousing her back to momentary wakefulness.
Merlin watches on in horror as Ajax keeps smacking her head on things to stave off sleep, splattering blood everywhere, desperately trying to get her to stop and just lay down her arms and quit torturing herself. The AGS won't stop coming, and Ajax won't back down in defense of her friends.
After a torturously long struggle, Ajax knows her time has come. Her arms won't lift up, her knees buckle, the blood in her eyes blocks her vision even if the gas wasn't doing its work, and all the sounds around her are turning into dull noise.
She kneels down, shield up, by the door. Her shield shall hold them off for a while more. Saying her final apologies to her friends and praying for their safety, she slumps down, sleep taking her.
As the AGS close in, a sudden explosion rocks the side of the plant, blowing out a wall in the hallway where the battle was happening.
Glorious sunlight washes in as the dust settles, and a silhouette appears bathed in its rays.
It's fricking FRIGGA, BABY!
Operation Brunhild's Beacon (its own B-story) was a success, and through surveillance Orca was alerted to Brunhild's location, and she told the Commander the rest.
Orca sailed along the Thames all the way up to London, surfacing in downtown, and everyone was deployed for a flash rescue operation. The plan was to pick everyone up and submerge back to safety.
While there, the Commander compares the old maps, Sleipnir's footage, and fresh surveillance data they finally got straight from the source, and notices multiple large buildings that seem to have been recently destroyed.
Now, all of Orca is en route to Portsmouth. But Frigga got there first, fearing for her cute dainty little sister's (Ajax's) health.
She shot herself with the Doombringers' aerial deployment launcher and crash landed into the wall of the tallest building she could see.
She sees Ajax, slumped by the door, all bloodied up. She lifts her up to make sure she's okay, and Ajax barely manages to open her eyes, shed a tear, and say her name.
She lays her back down, chastising her for getting herself hurt, promising she'll be right back.
She. Is. PISSED.
She hears a gnat on the PA trying to make excuses about how most of the damage on her was caused by herself. That must be Merlin. Frigga looks at the camera and swears she is next.
Orca is coming.
She does not even arm herself, she just goes to town on the Black River military level AGS with her bare hands, ripping them apart like paper, using their own limbs as her weapons while a horrified Merlin watches on, pleading for parlay.
The power plant is cleared out by the time the rest of the crew arrives, Merlin has halted her AGS, the gas victims are beginning to wake up, and the City Guards are handling their retrieval.
Leanne's colleagues tease her some, but she had a eureka moment in her sleep and must tell the Commander at once.
(The Commander is present in Phantom-type camo during this mission, because of the jamming preventing contact with the Orca. He even went to pick up Brun personally (with an entourage)).
Leanne's put all the blocks together, and come to the conclusion that Merlin must be an AI.
Merlin has now surrendered, as she can no longer go on with her plans, and offers to let the invaders inside to get the full scoop.
The Commander tells Leanne to shake off the gas so she can see this case to the end, and BP so she can get her answers and closure.
Merlin tells them to come underground to see her. They arrive, and find an underground dock with an outrageously large battleship anchored to it, with a face like a Stronghold.
Merlin calls it the Prydwen (named after King Arthur's boat), a battleship that was supposed to be used in the war between the military tech giants. It's a battleship that has the equipment to produce AGS within itself (all the AGS in Camelot were built within it), and was supposed to be deployed to Asia to take out Saman before the Iron Parasites hit.
Merlin is revealed to have been created to be an advisor to Gamma, for the Poseidon fleet, and she was to captain the Prydwen during Gamma's missions.
Merlin tells them to enter a hovel sitting by the dock to meet her face to face.
All they meet is a computer, with Merlin's voice coming out of it. Leanne's theory seems to have been right on the mark.
BP and Merlin have their moment. Turns out Merlin really did think of BP and her resistance as her real and only friends, but she originally only brought them in due to them being immune to Parasitization - her forces' greatest weakness.
However, she could never move from there, and as she learned to like them she couldn't bear to watch her friends die for her, or being Parasitized and being passenger to her "body" kill them if the Parasites reached Prydwen.
Eventually the futility of their defense and the worthlessness of her existence hit her, and she sent her stubborn and sacrifice-happy friends away by force, with the plan to lure in as many Iron Parasites as possible, take out as many as she could with the laser cannon, and then blow up the nuclear reactor to take out the rest, hopefully including the Parasite Leanne nicknamed "Moriarty" - an Alterium-boosted Stalker that controlled most of the Iron Parasites around with tactical prowess never before seen in a Parasite.
She wanted to hit two birds with one stone and both lure in and guarantee safety in London for her friends by bombing London's Black River and other arms factories, and remove the Parasites' replication capabilities there, which would eventually lead them to roam to Portsmouth and Camelot.
Merlin and the Bioroids talk some more, and then walk away.
Merlin begins mumbling to herself about this and that and how keeping her secrets was for the best.
Commander takes off the camo and greets her, saying he's got some questions.
Merlin is sent reeling at the sudden appearance of an actual human.
Commander knows that's obviously not the full story. She must be a Bioroid.
She then reveals that yes, she was a Bioroid, but she might as well be an AI now.
Some korean misery porn scientists (Britbong flavor) were getting tired of this military Bioroid, whose job was to basically sit at her station 24/7 anyway, having the power of autonomy and the ability to walk away from conversations.
"Let's put a Bioroid brain in a machine (paraphrased from spotty MTL)!"
And so began Merlin's new life as an onboard br-AI-n.
She revealed that her body was cryofrozen, but since it's been so long and nobody's been around to maintain things, her body has likely unthawed ages ago and rotted away.
And now we wait for Part 3 to see how we bring her back.
TL;DR: Merlin was a Bioroid, then she was a brain in a computer stuck on a boat in the UK. Then she was a friend to some Bioroids, then she was a secretly good pretend-enemy. Soon she will be a Bioroid again, and she will get The D.

I finally added the two and two together when I realized those status effects of PROTECT ROW/COLUMN. The translation at times makes me real confused on instructions.
On another note, using a full defender like Bloody Panther helped me beat level 60, finishing Mission 1 Sector of the Sanctum! I see the 2nd zone is open and I better ask now before I start:: When I use units for that zone, are they locked out for one stage or are they locked out of any stage in the mission sector completely until I beat that sector?
The units you use are locked out only for 1 day until server reset time. So if you have 5 functioning teams you can clear 5 stages a day and if you only have 1 then you can only clear 1 stage a day.
At first I thought there'd just be a handful of skins I wanted to get but now there are so many more characters I came to like through the story and now I want to buy them their skins too.

Attackers usually want min 230% accuracy 100% crit counting buffs and the rest is usually dumped on atk, or in rare cases they can other roles like eva tank khan
Defenders, unless they have niche as attackers like black lilith and eternity, get all all their points usually dumped on either eva or def/hp depending on what type
Supports dont really too much in their distribution points since their are already useful with their skill, maybe dumping points in def/hp if they have problems surviving or Acc if they need to land their attacks.
anyways there are items to reset their points so there is no big deal if you make some mistakes, also always read first the passive of the unit you want to build

I tried putting Cerestia on the team cause she is one of the reasons I started Last Origin but seems she is meant for support and I seriously don't know what to do with her cause she is slower than everyone else.
Also I put five cores straight away on Eternity and now I have spare Eternities so I was planning on using them instead but if I remove the cores it accuses that they will be destroyed. Is there any way to remove them or did I frick up? Will there be any purpose on the extra Eternities?

Not that anon but from just playing the game and checking the wiki now and then I figure that most units work best with other units from the same group or sometimes weight class/ elemental damage type.
Don't know about lategame team comp autism but just reading a unit's skills is pretty helpful. Like Cerestia's second skill has an extra buff for the other elves so you'll want to use them alongside her. Speaking of which don't ignore the other elves just because they're only A rank, low rank units can be pretty good if you upgrade them.

It takes like an hour to get through the entire platoon of color coded shitheads when they catch you unaware, AND there are often several in one Sanctum stage, and if you're not prepared for both or a the one unit in your team is out of commission you're just fricking done, regardless of what wave you're at.

I've been using Ella/Hachiko/Ramiel, it's consistent but it's very slow compared to other farming maps, I think I had to have it running for a total of 15-ish hours over the last 4 days to get her full linked.
I just cleared the first sanctum area with my lewd maid squad. I didn't have all my equipment to max level and cleared all floors without any problem. The only thing is that I don't know why my battle power is bugged and show me 61 million.
I think an anon said that it's because the game confused dot and comma separators between JP and your own region.
It apparently also affects your stats so you're probably way stronger than you should be right now.

I know for a fact that sometimes the default lobby theme just plays over all other music tracks for some reason. Might be something related to the BGM jukebox? Never touched it myself but I feel like it's become a repeat issue since it was introduced.

Is there any practical difference between skill multiplier up and attack up?
By attack up I mean when it's a percentage.

They're different parts of the damage formula. Besides that I don't think there's much difference, they're both "damage number go up".
Consider there're a lot of other way to get "ATK up", isn't "Skill multiplier up" better if you want pure DPS?
Yes. You can only get skill multiplier up with link bonus and it is flat increase so it is very valuable
There's the thruster thing for flying attackers that gives a whopping 45% skill multiplier.
Tiamat and Peregrinus also get a bit extra from their evasion stat, probably some other units too that I'm not aware of.

I guess is because the majority of the bioroids had such shitty lives and some of them having to live hell everyday, like almost all events show you how shitty humanity was towards them (bioroid graveyard in the halloween event, killing faucres in the original script in full moon, the whole lightless sanctuary event, khans/kheshig backstory event, khans comrades in the paradise event), so you feel good when they finally get to be happy.

I wrote off Cyclops Princess as just another token gothic e-girlta design that just felt out of place in a game like this on her debut, and with that outrageously tacky flower eyepatch that was a trend yesteryear for a short while that dates her design hard on top, and just shrugged her off.

So long ago I put a bunch of cores on Eternity, but now I have many more Eternity(s) and removing the core deletes it.
Is there any purpose for the new Eternities I got?
You can keep an extra one at 0-link for cheap farming, but Eternity isn't that good at it. You can build a second one and keep one as an attacker and one as a pure tank, but the same can be achieved with the stat respec item.
So nah just scrap them.

Do things ever get better? I get we are at least expanding facilities and fortifying defenses, cleaning up parasytes and helping biodroids, but for humanity it always feels like we are losing.
Whenever we get data or records most of it are deleted. I just got to Section 6, but when I do the Event that is in the future, the seeds and genetic backups were all razed except few stolen. It's as if we never get anywhere on the greater scope of things

You're better off thinking of the whole war as a setting rather than a storyline in need of resolution, because at the current pace it's unlikely to get anywhere before EoS.

I don't think there's any way to check in-game. Gotta check up on JP's social media or other news sources. The only boosts that show up are the paid currency free unlinks, free resets, and EXP and skill boosts. Those would be below your avatar in the lobby.

Usually there's always an event going on. Events last at least a month and come right after another. The month-long break we just had was an outlier because of behind-the-scenes stuff.

look up a guide and invest in some good deck. I recommend the Glacias deck since it can do any ele resist stage. Or you can do the super cheese AGS squad, which I don't recommend since it trivializes the game

Look up Goltarion in the wiki. If you are in LR, you only need Faucre and Arachne. Basically put Goltarion on the top right , and use Arachne to mark him. he aggro all the bosses and is immortal. His only weakness is drone and trash mob, so you need a different team to clean it up
Here's a few pointers for some of the most annoying clear stoppers:
>Lightning Bomber: they lose most of their EVA after attacking
>Scarab: nuke these down before Round 3, they will start ramping up EVA fast after that and stall you forever, with no counter beyond maybe an upgraded Dark Elven
>Elemental troops (Dryer, Freezer...): they have like 100k def, but lose a lot of that upon Re-Attacking, and fold to elemental damage that isn't of their type

This is true but only if the developers are willing to keep on expanding on existing characters with new ways to interact with them. Like new seasonal lines or so. It also depends on the bonding system. I would say the best current bonding systems for gachas as of now are the ones from NIKKE and Blue Archive.
Are they gonna expand the event shop again once chapter 2 is out? I hope so, because I've been going pretty casual and almost bought out everything, just from overnight farming.
