How are you guys feeling towards it as of now? I want to be hopeful and my kusoge-tolerance levels are pretty damn high but I can’t help but feel Tri-Ace will mess up again. I mean I’ll end up getting it anyway, at some point at least, but I’d still prefer it to be good if at all possible
Hoping for the best, prepared for the worst. I'm not about to pre-order this game, but if it turns out decent enough I'm more than willing to give it a shot. I just want another decent Star Ocean game again, but I'm not going to set myself up for disappointment in case it's another dud. What surprises me the most out of all of this is how Tri-Ace keeps being able to pump out Star Ocean games to begin with, despite everything. When the gacha game closed a year or two ago, a lot of people, myself included, wondered if that was finally the end of the series, considering how SO5 turned out. SE is surprisingly lenient with this.
