I’m playing it on Xbox, isn’t Xbox kind of the best version of it if you don’t care about mods since it’s shit on playstation and the pc version is buggier

I'll admit that it needs things to help it not crash, but otherwise I'm playing it basically vanilla at the moment. No crazy mods, only some of those animation ones, and the ability to smoke cigs. I like the game for what it is.

The only mods I add are small survival mechanics and graphics mods. I basically play Vanilla Hardcore (+)
Fallout 4 I have to modify the core mechanics of the game, just to try and have it be fun. Then I hop into the game and still get bored of it after a few hours / days because I always get reminded that the story and quests are just bland and boring. Modding has its limits.

played the ps3 version, drank the vodka, and did that level up trick with chet in goodsprings. Playing the whole campaign and THEN the DLCs felt like playing fallout 1, because Bethesda engine keeps track of every cell it loads the map and the sanity check causes the ps3 processor to lock up or rendering errors. The world itself was living on borrowed time as I collected every fricking lame achievement (yes even caravan).

Funny thing is you can even transfer your PS3 save to the PC version and continue playing there. It felt wrong leaving that character to die on the PS3 version.

I just like to add more guns for variety
also there was this pretty neat mod that added a van that you could "move" around and use to store all your loot, it was comfy

I played this game on the 360. Game was stuttering, glitching, crashing every five minutes, and it is still the greatest vidya experience i have had.

No? I only use bugfixes and maybe some other minor things such as smaller ui or wider fov. I don't like large ui in games because they are made for console players who plays on their tvs, I play on a monitor and I have perfect eyesight.

Modding NV sucks because it's so unstable.

The most I've modded this game is Vanilla+ to add sprinting and extra quests
Either way I played like four playthroughs on the 360 when it came out without mods

Nah, I replayed the whole game on my Steam Deck when I got it and assumed you couldn't mod it. It's great, that being said, when I found out how proton works and how to mod games, I've played it modded since. But still a solid foundation, glitchy but that's Bethesda's fault
