General receptions are optional but provide some great cards and pages here and there
Is there a certain point say post urban plague where I shouldn't bother with anything below it?
I'm not sure if blade linage is urban nightmare or plague but he has great pages for slash decks. Rusted chains, also around plague or below, also have a few bleed pages if you like doing bleed memes.
Other than those it's mostly Star of the City stuff that came in useful.

played during the EA and you can definitely get away with not doing any general receptions
there's a ton of high power passives you can get from generals though, so there's no harm checking it out when you're feeling stuck

Heathcliffe, Faust, the hammer rodion if you have her, and a couple others. Try and get a comp that fuels Faust's base ego really well, the more you can feed it the better since it can hit 2 or 3 targets for fatal blunt damage.
The setup i beat it and most of late chapter 3 with were, if i remember correctly, jannie faust, outis, bootcuck greg, reindeer ish and fire meursault.
DEFINITELY not the best setup out there, reindeer ish takes a while to setup, no one ranks liu Meur that high either, but I've had enough sin generation to spam faust's aoe ego.
Some of them were a bit lower than 20, but I think I went hard into upgrading Faust cause her attack power is pretty low. Basically, try to level your dudes enough so that none of them have an attack power 5 lower than what they'll be clashing against.
Other than that, try to focus on one or two egos you'll be generating often, don't try to make all of your lads deal blunt damage, as winning clashes and not eating shit is often more important than raw damage.

Again, I feel like my team was pretty mediocre all things considered, people praise base Heathcliff a lot, but I hate his skill 1, can't clash for shit. Most other people GOAT him, so try building around him as well.
Faust's ego goes really hard against those guys, the aoe potential can't be overstated imo. If you've got clerk Faust to use it with, even better.
Bootcuck Greg doesn't deal blunt and is weak to it, so he seems like a bad choice, but my guy is a fucking beast, plus helps generate gluttony.
Just make sure you focus on a few egos getting generated quickly, try to win non-guaranteed clashes with those, make some of your lads the damage dealers, and the others self-sustaining supports that help generate said egos.

The fact that her S1 needs heads to get a total of 4 charge is kinda silly
And even if you get her S2 twice in a row the charge decay will leave her at 8 on turn 3, so you need both heads on S1 or S2 for a third time to have the charge for Mind Whip
So at the earliest you can use it turn 4 unless you get extra actions.
And Mind whip potentially bricking up a slot means you're a bit limited in how you go about charge gain.
The decay is such a huge pain, they could've at least made her get 3-4 charge on heads if they want it to be a riskier way to gain charge.

The big part of the series are the first two games so skipping them for Limbus wouldn't make sense.
This game is pretty generous as far as gachas go. You're able to beat the current content with base identities without much issue, and you'll get enough resources to pull a few rare drops.
Can't guarantee it cause we don't know how hard shit will get in later chapters, but again, just playing through it and doing some of the side-grinding will get you enough resources to probably pull a few cool ones.

You don't need to go to day 1 every time, just memo repo after you fill out central department and got all EGO from there
For the timer mission all you have to do is to pause, start work with every single employee and once they are done repeat. The timer also gets paused.

Only recommended if you did all upper core suppressions. Doing Gebura would also help out since her reward is great.
Only Midnight Ordeal you should fear is Purple. The other ones are easy as shit if you know what you're doing, though the amber one can be a bit of a pain to clear if you're taking your time. Still, nothing really deadly, just tedious.

The threads were overwhelmingly positive when people were beating chapter3. Now that the only content left is the grind people are seeing the low.
Oh yeah I saw them; almost got infected with the positivity, almost.
It will return once chapter4 or an event comes out. Because while the gameplay is diving most people enjoy the cast and their antics, the more serious parts are also engaging.
Honestly it's not a bad idea to ignore the grind entirely and just play the story when it comes out if you don't care for 000s. The game isn't too reliant on high levels since i manages to push through chapter3 with only doing one mirror dungeon to level up a unit i never used before.

EGOs are not affected by dupes. It's way more efficient to just roll for them. For IDs, you can get fuck over by shitty luck and dupes, which is why it's better to spend your shards on them at the end of the season

Just use them before the season ends.
If you'd be happier using a 000 you haven't gotten, then use them on that, but if you reach the wall and they're gonna get juiced to thread, no harm in spending them unless you know there's another EGO about to drop that you don't mind grinding 200 more shards for.

EGOs don't even seem worth trying to collect in the first place.
Most of the default EGO attacks are not just good enough, but are generally better than the EGO attacks you can get in the gacha. I think the issue is that higher ranked EGO attacks are supposed to be stronger at the cost of more resources, but are generally way more expensive than they should be. A lot of HE EGOs seem to cost twice as much as a ZAYIN EGO while only being about 50% stronger, so it's better to just use two cheaper EGOs instead especially since even a ZAYIN EGO can win any clash at the moment. Combine that with the fact that uptying an EGO is really expensive and they really aren't worth stressing over.
The only thing they seem to be ok at is if you have a bad party composition where you don't generate the resources you need then having multiple different EGOs improve the chances that you'll stumble into one by accident, like in a mirror dungeon.
This. Meursault and Outis base are the best choices for Koomer, and you literally get them for free.
