Normally one skill coin, the one you select, is cycled out each turn. The other one remains. The webm clearly demonstrates that two skills were replaced in one turn, due to the method used. What the fuck are you struggling to comprehend here?

It doesn't work like that. As I said, is common to just roll the same skill you used the previous turn. So I don't see how anything can be recycled when it's just random.

You can clearly see in game that if you don't use a skill it will sit there until you use it. Unused skills do not get cycled out. You can see this if you have any Skill 3 (of which the characters 'decks' have the least amount of) as one of your current two options, no matter how many turns you continue to not use it it will still be there.

I dunno if he'd actually beat a living Kali+EGO. She seemed kinda gimped after being turned into a brain-bucket and after that she's not only rusty, but not quite human either.
Keep in mind that Kali+EGO took on a facility's worth of abnos of varying danger levels and THEN beat an arbiter with only one hand.
Roland's main 'ability', as such, is his ability to just understand and replicate fighting styles (it's why he's so good at using Angelica's weapons), and he's mentioned to be on-par with Kali when it comes to using EGO at least, even if he lacks a personal one. Kali just has sheer fucking physical strength on her side, so he still probably loses that fight, but it's not a stomp.
It's a stomp and he only lasts about a minute before getting his shit pushed in with vertical split

For all of Roland's skill and such, there's something to be said about the man's sheer fucking endurance. He went from killing the Pianist to going on his rampage which lasted who knew how long, and then later on he fights the Ensemble (which I think takes place over a week straight, right?), then has his meltdown (an event that's implied to have taken basically the full force of the Library to put down), fights the Ensemble AGAIN but Distorted this time, THEN fights Zena and Baral. Man just keeps fucking going.

We get introduced to characters at an arbitrary powerlevel decided by the author, I don't personally see why it matters whether it's "well actually this character has super special rare augments from the ruins so he can beat everyone" or "well actually this character is a prodigy who is super special and has natural combat talent so he can beat everyone" or "well actually this character manifested EGO and has enough suffering porn so he can beat everyone". You already see plenty of settings without any explicit supernatural stuff still have dumb powerlevel bullshit go on, it all depends on the caliber of the writer.

I don't really think powerscaling is something we're meant to take too much into consideration in these games, to be honest. It's more just "these guys are all kind of broadly in the same tier, and a few can punch up a bit". Like Roland and Gebura are probably on the same 'tier', but Kali punched up a bit, whereas Roland had just rage and adrenaline pushing him on. Iori has her dimensional bullshit so she's an outlier.

It does that for the librarians, Roland was the one actually fighting them as the guest so I don't think it would do the same for him. We already see him covered in blood and struggling to stand while having his confrontation with Angela, which is after the "reception" itself had ended.
I suppose it could be either way, but I guess one of the reasons I think he fought Argalia for 3 days and that the ensemble were unbooked at the start is because Roland takes his mask off then and there. I just think it'd be autistic and a little bit retarded if he just waited there for three days with the mask on so Argalia would show up and he could take the mask off for an especially cool moment.

But what you describe just paints arbiters as total jobbers, because they get beat by people who are exhausted.
Garion still came out better in that exchange and Kali had a surprise attack while Garion was talking, meanwhile Zena wasn't really even all that fazed by the battle.
Not to mention that Garion wasn't aware of EGOs existence and what it could do.
That, too, there's a lot of extenuating circumstances. Zena came a lot more prepared and consequently seemed, at most, frustrated that Roland, Binah and Gebura weren't dying immediately. And Zena and Baral weren't even really trying to kill them, they were mostly just stalling so the Library could be expelled.

I really doubt Roland 1v1d distorted Argalia for an entire week straight like people seem to think. It's much more likely the entire library had a big fight against the distorted ensemble and then Roland swooped in to pull Angela from the light, stop Argalia from releasing his desperation move and secure the kill.

Makes more sense that either the ensemble were only unbooked near the end of the week or that the librarians were fighting for a week while Roland's stuff was at the end.
Red Mist Prime fought 2 claws, an arbiter and an entire facility (which may have had the Qliphoth deterrence turned off) of abnormalities all at the same time WHILE protecting people and she killed them all with the exception of the Arbiter being effectively dead but not quite.

Is You Must Become Strong really "stronger" than You Must Be Happy though? You Must Be Happy upgrade a person body to make them stronger. To the point where the body will just outright explode if you do it too much. Also in lore it can basically heal and improve people in many ways. You Must Become Strong is either a machine that make immortal toys until you press the button to turn it off or as the name implies is meant to be a training program that naturally improve your fighting strength. I feel one is more useful, quicker and generally more powerful as an item. Become Strong could in theory make an immortal army but the toy people doesn't really seem to follow orders or really do anything aside from bullying whoever happen to be there. Excuse me though if I am wrong on something. Keep forgetting to read the story and the game for some fucking reason have no way to get the info on the main menu anywhere.

You Must Become Strong is goofy looking, but the story logs make it clear that the elite units it pumps out are deceptively tough despite being made of plastic, and even if you kill one it’ll keep coming back to life by repairing itself and reviving the human host inside it, so it can definitely snowball out of control, perhaps a Singing Machine situation where a toy soldier cracks your head open and drags you to the machine to be thrown back out as a cyborg, your personal stats deciding your make and model

It's hard to say if the Head has actual personal ability, or simply just has access to so much Singularity tech that they can just exert full control over the City, so I'd honestly probably class the Head as "probably an outlier because we don't know enough yet".
Pianist was already on upper end of WAW or lower end of ALEPH undettered, while they are definitely very strong I do think people oversell abnos a bit relative to fixers and the Head's goons.

Actual ALEPHS could definitely kill millions before a hit squad of colors or something puts them down. But you have to remember, in the city killing millions means you've at most killed a few % of the city's population. Mountain is kind of an exception in the sense that it'd basically be in it's ideal environment and possibly evolve into a 4th form that's boss-abno tier.

Well, gimme an answer for both. I know a few systems, but can't really think of anything that isn't universal or rules-lite that'd really suit a PM-style.
pm style is pretty non existant. with some reflavoring SLA Industries might work pretty well, though it favors guns a little too much and the overall tone is mega 90s. Best for low-mid power levels.
Kill Sector is even more aggressively 90s but has an extremely open character creation. it is also geared for one shots or short games.
Rouge Trader is in the same bin as SLA, though it needs more reflavoring in exchange for slightly more correct game feel.
Tenra Bansho Zero could work for grade 1 to colors on the edge of ego or distortion with heavy reflavoring. will post more in next thread.

Something like a mega qlipiloth deterrence field surrounding the City and some of the Outskirts powered by the emotions and traumas of a captive population, the world outside already ended as chaos wastes. What little abnormalities and distortions we've seen being what little minnows that can slip through the barrier compared to the kaiju-size horrors that await if the Head is overthrown.

Golden Boughs seem to be a remnant of the Seed, and they're... Certainly MacGuffins.

LCCB Ish: Gluttony, Gloom, Pride
Blade Lineage Yi Sang: pride, wrath, envy
LCB Sinner Sinclair: pride, wrath, envy
N corp Rodion: Pride, Lust, Wrath
LCB Outis: sloth, pride, gloom
With this setup and all egos you should be able to use an ego attack every turn. Ideally you rush out impending day so sinclair can start producing shit tons of sin

3-17 is what Ive been using as the baseline since its 3 waves. If you have ryoshu 000 (I dont) you can use her over outis and then trigger both her passive and 4th match flame's passive for her super easy.
Outis and Salsu Sang can win clashes pretty easily, Sinclair too i guess, but the rest i just see them getting staggered unless you have 4th match flame available at the start of every round
N corp rodion never loses a clash and sinclaire and yi sang are pretty damn good clashers too
My n corp rodyon loses about 60% of her clashes though that's only in MDs. I havent had the chance to use her anywhere since content is so limited right now
I havent been counting but Ive seen her bulldoze through MDs, never once seen her staggered. Her 4th just beats everything and her other two skills have 2 coins

I basically see Lobcorp and the post-Ruina City as entirely different settings. As much as I enjoy the way the city is depicted it's a really far cry from the suffocating, almost constantly oppressive atmosphere lobcorp painted. It's hard to take stuff like the disease of the mind seriously when the city as we see it is filled with goofy shit like the maraca gang and people seem to just live normal lives but with a higher chance of dying randomly one day. I can somewhat cope with the idea that what we see is the post-light city, which is probably why I dislike wonderlab and other stuff that depicts the pre-light city so much. Maybe it's intentional and the disease was always meant to be carmen's delusions or something, but that takes far too much away from what made lobcorp so kino for me to accept it.

Roland DOES also mention that the Light has definitely changed people, though. It's unclear what exactly that all is though. Maybe it's just given people some idea of there being a future worth fighting for, etc. Or Carmen just sort of whispered to nearly everybody in the moments when the Light was released.
If I had to say, it's that people have more hopes beyond just living. Basically, rather than just living a monotonous life, they have something more to live for and expect. It's not just about clawing your way into a wing for safety, or bashing someone's head in so you can get something to eat.
What the light did was to give people hopes for the future yeah, they have dreams now, aspirations. That's why all of the guests of the library have a goal even if it's something meaningless or outright fucked up, like Pete who just wishes to become a finger equally nastier or worse than the ones that already exist.
