I actually noticed that Pokemon news has been decreasing as soon as it was revealed that Ash will retire.
You don't see as much excitement anymore.
It's actually because SV are shit and they released these two in the most unimportant way with no in-game event or lore whatsoever.

That's what pisses me off. They easily could've added an extra area in one of the DLCs to allow you to get either Walking Wake or Iron Leaves depending on the version, instead, they just make them Tera Raid exclusive, like the 7 star starters.
Hope you enjoy your preview for the legendary hunting part of the DLC, because that's how you're gonna get Paldean native legendaries from previous games.

I can't speak for everyone, but as an oldfag it seems like a good time to leave the franchise, I'm finally getting closure to the pokemania of the 90s (Mediocre, but a closure in the end), the hype of the games is loses quickly for wanting to sell incomplete products in a hurry with little or no lore to contribute to the franchise, also I do not want to end up like many fans of HxH and Berserk where the life of the work exceeds that of its fans (or its author) without come to see an end.

Iron Hands with randoms is fine for Walking Wake. You probably want raidcats or something for Iron Leaves. They aren’t especially hard, I knocked both of them out in 20 minutes with zero prep right after they went live
I beat Leaves solo with Chi Yu with Taunt, Will O Wisp, Nasty Plot, and Dark Pulse.
