Black Metal's a level 1 and I always run 3 with One For One alongside Seyfert in my 60 card lists. Personally I think it's a better normal summon because it doesn't have to remove itself to search like Seyfert sometimes does, it chain blocks, and you get a 2800 beatstick that can beat over something like an Apollousa then special summon anything from your hand or grave like Seyfert or a Rokket.

Part of what makes Underworld Goddess so good is being able to tribute an opponent's monster at spell speed 2 with the use of I:P Masquerena. Invest in her when you have everything else. Speaking of the extra deck, Accesscode and Knightmare Unicorn are incredible additions that you should make later. For now, invest in Knightmare Cerberus and Knightmare Phoenix as they are ED monsters that have removal while still only being SR rarity. You can slap this duo in nearly any deck.

Levianeer's great, but you have more important stuff to invest in. Honestly, Levianeer and Chaos Ruler aren't required in the Borrelend era of Dragon Link, but they still offer a lot of value.
The second Abs come up all the time unless you regularly flush your Ravine down the toilet and Levianeer/Chaos Ruler puts the team on their backs.
I usually just turbo out Borrelend + Savage + either Spheres or I:P Masquerena and people shit themselves if they don't have strong removal. I'm trying to figure out how I can include the o'l reliable Chaos Ruler => Archfiend into my new gameplan.

It's all personal preference you'll figure out what you want to keep and what you want to add as you play. Cut Phoenix for Quadborrel 100% though and you don't have enough lights to justify two Collapserpent.

Sting the Poison is enough to make it worth running 1 Arbalest. Sting searches an extender on summon, and can negate a monster. Also Arbalest is searchable off of Sting, and Gokipole. And Armor Horn gives a second normal summon for Arbalest.

BnB combo ends with Union Carrier, Cyber Dragon Infinity, ABC itself, a set Unauthorized Reactivation if I drew it, and potentially I:P Masquerena. If I drew Parallel ExSneed, linking into Union Carrier puts two of these on the board to link into I:P Masquerena. This card is absolutely disgusting with ABC's second quick effect: You activate I:P, chain ABC to her, and tribute two of the parts along with I:P to make Underworld Goddess. Reborn gives me double ABC on turn 2.

You'd need multiple steam accounts.
You could, like theoretically you install, do the loaners with tons of gems and try to roll for either your favourite archetype or the main selection.
That takes quite a bit of time though, and you need multiple steam accs for it.
You could just do multiple installs on your phone and then link it to your steam account when you get your lucky Royal Ash Blossom or whatever, but it's really not worth it.
Like remaking your account for better early pulls? There's no need to bother. The game mostly makes it very easy to get what you want if you spend resources wisely, and as a new player you can get pretty much whatever deck you want within a day or two. You can make alternate accounts to make more decks early on if you like, since there's nothing big to tie you to your main account but you'll likely end up abandoning them eventually.
Without making extra accounts, you get up to four additional chances: one for each other platform.
I mainly play on the switch because while it performs the worst, it also boots up instantly. I'm lazy.
Build your decks in other sims before doing anything on MD. Aside handtraps you should have more than enough resources to build pretty much anything.
Just dont build likes of endymion or dinomorphia as first deck.

Here's mine. Every one I've seen for the event has been pretty much the same. Just with slight extra deck variations(accesscode, knightmares, avramax, etc) and hand trap variations. Also some choose to run fewer twinbow/retaliating/gokipole. But you definitely want at least 1 retaliating and gokipole.

Tear, in combination with the Ishizu support, relatively its OG Dragon Ruler levels of power.
Its unfathomably, absolutely powerful to the point that no other deck can really compete with it.
This is after multiple of the Ishizu cards got hit on the F/L list already. For Konami to really hit the archetype it will probably have to get the Dragon Ruler treatment, where the archetype is effectively archived on the ban list forever.
That, or the entire game will have to catch up to Tear's power creep.. which is honestly a super scary prospect.

In a best of 1 format game like Master Duel, you can just put Macro Cosmos and/or Dimensional Shifter into your deck.

Stop playing decks that don't search an omni negate trap as part of their combo, and go all in with no chance of recovery after being board broken. Or a deck with lots of hand traps. Or just accept the occasional loss when he has an amazing hand.

I was trying to think of a way to buff Time Thief as an archetype. Something like a main deck version of Redoer just called Time Thief Doer or something like that. Would a monster that, on summon, uses itself and a card (including spells and traps) on the opponent's side of the field (or GY, I haven't decided) to Xyz summon a Time Thief monster be too good?
I was also trying to think of what the effect for an Xyz version of Time Thief Winder called Rewinder (how have they not thought to do this yet) but I'm having trouble thinking of what it could be.
They need a new boss monster most of all. As it is now they're a fine rank 4 engine, but rank 4 engines just aren't impressive anymore.
Redoer is fantastic, its sad that other archetypes use it better then pure Time Thief can. Dracossack all over again..
I liked him in the terrible shark+zoo deck I used for the synchro+xyz festival. Being able to have him tag out before zeus nuked the field was fun.
That's why I'm trying to come up with an effect for a hypothetical Rewinder.
I also came up with another idea for the archetype where there's a Time Thief Double _____ card for every combo of the 3 main thieves (Perpetua, Winder, and Redoer) like they did with Double Barrel, then they can have a "Triple" super boss monster with all three thieves that can be summoned with 3 level 4s or one "Time Thief Double" Xyz monster.
Redoer in Tear is already fricking great. Redoer detaches as effect, so its quick effect changes from

For pure Time Thief to be good, you would just have to give Time Thief's main deck level 4 monsters that gain effects when they are detached.

Depends on how it works, but probably not. If it requires your opponent to have played something, then it's only usable going 2nd, in which case it's already balanced (lol). It's also fine if you make it usable going first (like, stealing something from the top o your opp's deck) if it requires your normal summon (normal summons are allowed to be super good nowadays). My only concern would be that this kind of 1-card combo might just make people play this hypothetical card only instead of the archetype as a whole (which is why I'm not a fan of 1-card combos unless they have restrictions, so maybe include a restriction).
Anyway, I never actually played time thief, but from what I can see the deck seems to struggle making rank4s outside of regulator (which is prime ash bait), so more ways to go into a xyz would be good. Winder can search a card but nothing he searches can let you immediately go into a xyz, which makes it really awkward. Even something as simple as a level 4 with "You can SS this card if you control a Time Thief" would go a long way. After they have a good engine you can give them good bosses. Redoer is already really good if you can attach a trap to it so maybe give the deck more ways to attach a trap to it from your deck first turn.

I will NEVER Maxx C before the main phase. Unless I have a great board and want them to pass. I will ALWAYS get at least an upstart and force you to commit a resource before ending your turn. And you can bet your ass I WILL CRY when you start your turn with an inherent summon.
I got TTT once by crusadia because I maxxced him during a main phase.

No it can't. Imperm or veiler always stops it dead in it's tracks without a lucky opening hand. Ash stops it 99% of the time as well since they have to get a specific card to chain block ash.
Of course you're not getting the same board if you get interrupted moron. If you open something like Blue Tang and Sea Horse both of those cards are live and should at least get you up to Bubble Reef if you continually get interrupted along the way. If you open both Live Twin names one is essentially dead for the turn.
The only safe Ash is on Coral Triangle or a dead hand with Sea Horse > Sea Angel

When people say "non-linear combo" do they mean decks that do different combos in different games depending on starting hand, like D/D/D, or decks that you literally cannot know what your end board will be by looking at your opening hand because of some degree of randomness, like Fluffal, or Quants?

Its Rokkets you gay and you're forgetting Sunavalon, Appliancer, G-Golem, Dinowrestler, Hydradive, Armatos Legio, Marincess, Stormrider, Drone, Tindangle, Codebreaker, Code Talker, and Topologina. There's a few more but they tend to lose off screen and we're still missing most of the Ignis decks in the actual game.

Gold is wild like that. Mirror Force SUCKS vs most meta decks, so no one runs it. But vs a lot of off-meta stuff it can actually be effective since you're not going to go into Phoenix instead of going for the OTK on the super small chance that it's Mirror Force.
Also they always run vanilla Mirror Force instead of the better ones like Drowning.
But sometimes they set 3 backrow and then you destroy one and it's Mirror Force, or Magic Cylinder and then you just have to play it super slow and pick their board apart to not get blown out by something dumb. But it's still an easy win because they have bad cards.

Play Mekk-Knights. Most people won't read your cards and therefore won't realize what you've been up to until they realize all their cards are being negated.
They are even better in the Link event with the lowered ceiling and the fact that you can negate just the extra monster zones to make their links useless.
