Definitely Adamancipators.I just got through Diamond and I was running into them pretty frequently. They have decent synergy with Ishizu and if you're not also running Ishizu they're very hard to stop since they're just going to either Grass or mill a bunch of shit themselves.

you're fixating too much on the adamancipator's effects. Their main purpose is extending, whether you achieve it through stuff like ishizu milling block dragon and allowing you to search the three rocks consistently, or through rock gacha is a non-concern. At this point what most Adamancipator players are concerned with is with putting as many good effects as possible on each body that you shit out, which is why the Vernusylph Six Samurai Adamancipator pile is a thing. It doesn't matter if you can't consistently summon a rock off Researcher and Analyzer, what matters is that they are free hand extension

Still a bit fresh but I'm enjoying it so far.
A little bit of ancient stuff from year gone by like piercing, stopping effects until after Battle, Trunade with legs and of course the old single target destruction while going -1 to boot but being able to constantly fuse means I can have Master Diamond carry whatever effect I need while also having some respectable numbers in stats.
It sucks that that's all they really have to offer. Their designs are so cool, and their combos are fun to navigate, but FTKing is such a lame gameplan, and there really isn't much more they can do aside from throw out beaters.
But what do they actually have in their toolbox? A couple monsters that can targetted destroy on your turn?

It's not important. It's good in certain matchups, and can be made more easily with Vampire Fascinator, but it's not something you aim to summon on turn 1. It's more something that you summon when you have a bunch of random monsters on the board that don't line up for a synchro, and you're zombie locked so can't go into Apollousa.

The other anon pretty much nailed it. Consistency. In a Bo1 format, this matters a lot. Halqdon was oppressive because you could turn basically any two monsters into the same combo with the the same board. I've been messing around with Ishizu Shaddolls, and while the deck is powerful, and very fun, the fun comes from the variance in play. And while yeah, Shaddolls aren't Tearlaments, with some semi-limits, especially to Havnis, you can expect Tears to get enough consistency hits to be a lot less oppressive in MD. Especially if they ban Dweller, which they definitely should.
Consistency hits have a very strong impact in Bo1 formats.
I expect this will be enough to keep Tears in check. Just look at how they've handled Swordsoul and Branded. Nothing's been banned. Protoss for example, is still very much in the game. Why? Cause it's not consistent enough to merit a bad.
Protos is still legal in the OCG tho

On turn 1 you can get a solemn, bounces and some floodgates, while setting up for an OTK
They have a counter trap that negates anything, a continuous spell and a trap that quick bounces any card on the field, a card that searches any field spell in the game (aka necrovalley), and a fuckton of drawpower. You can consistently set 1 or 2 of those going 1st.
Their "boss monsters" are their S/T lineup.
You can play it alongside Runick thanks to to Rainbow Bridge of Salvation.

This is not the case and you would know if you have ever played tear format. Both of you will get to play your combo at the same time regardless of coin toss. That is peak gameplay. That is what transcend mere turn base card game concept.

Between events, the duelist pass, missions, and ranked gems you should always have enough gems to build at least one deck per season without spending money.
I get bored stop playing miss events and come back. I am only able to do dailies 5 days a week
Then give konami a hundred bucks for 6 random URs I don't really care
You only need to do dailies every 2 or 3 days and it takes 10-20 minutes, no excuses

That's literally what Super Quants do. They use their field spell to combine all of their Mech Beasts(zords) into Magnus(Megazord). And their main deck monsters are the pilots which are needed as material for the zords to attack, with them needing their signature pilot to make their ignition effects into quick effects.

Super Quants is the Super Sentai/Power Ranger archetype. They're not as good as heroes, but they're at least playable in gold.

Cook isn't the only unaffected monster in the game, so yeah Underworld Goddess is probably in the top 3 most common extra deck monsters. Spending one extra deck slot to never have to worry about instalosing to a 6k Arrival @ignister or whatever is easily worth it.
