I dunno man, to me quant combos are short-ish compared to most meta and topdecks right now, plus you net yourself a really good payout if you pull if off, even a 4 material Magnus can win you the game.
Starter combos for Quants are pretty tame in my eyes to get the idea, and later you can splice in pieces like dangers or Herald to your liking.
But another short deck could be S-Force if you aren't too scared to brick 1/5 games.
I know konami has forgotten quants exists but some support would be nice,stuff like the link 3 not being link 2 pisses me off

The card pool is so big that it's impossible to account for how new cards will interact with all of the older ones, older cards weren't designed or balanced around the current game, and konami intentionally prints broken cards because meta slaves pay top dollar for it.
Due to no rotating sets (don't @ me) YGO suffers from powercreep more than other card games. It's like a pile of dirt where every new set just gets another shovel of dirt added to the pile and you really run into an issue with Konami's hesitancy to ban new cards. The meta game back in 2009 was COMPLETELY fucking different. Just look at who won the world championship in 2009.

One of the best negate, stardust dragon, resulted in it being removed from the field so you didn't even have a body to stop any incoming damage or attack the turn it was used and it only worked on destroy effects. Thought Ruler only kicked in when it's targetted towards Psychics. Meanwhile we get Baron who gets an omni-negate on anything along with a once per turn destruction effect

As someone who used to play a lot of casual multiplayer magic, what shocked me the most about the rise of EDH among casuals...was how sudden it was. One week I was playing mono white humans as usual. The next week I was playing Avacyn. Then at the start of the next semester I ended up shelling out for the newly released Xenagos. No one played classic multiplayer anymore. New players didn't buy intros or deckbuilder toolkits anymore. It was commander or bust.
Keep in mind this was like 4-5 years before WotC went into commander overdrive.

I was running 2x Evenly but Carrot is always going to be there so I went with Sphere Modes. Now that Ischizo is a thing I cut them for Schifters. Which will weaken Spright going first, Runicks and most likely make Ischizo Grass scoop if they left arm offering. Unfortunately I'm on mobile thus I cannot provide a decklist at this time due to life. I can provide a cheaper alternative to Necrovalley which is Dimensional Fissure. GL anon.
I'm keeping Sphere Mode because the amount of Spright decks is still high and it's a really good card at the moment but I'm definitely switching Evenly for D. Shifter, it's not like I use Evenly when going first and Carrot is always annoying. I'll just bite the bullet and craft Metaverse, I also need it for my Charmers deck anyway.

I wanna say there's a Number XYZ monster you can cheat out that deals damage to a player when you gain life. Manipulator of souls? Either way, the idea is to cheat it and a high attack XYZ monster out, then mystic wok the high attack monster to kill the opponent. It's a version of the Machu Mech FTK, in essence.

No reason why PUNKS couldn't have just been a physic deck, meanwhile it's used to shit out chaos ruler. No reason why chaos ruler shouldn't required a dark and/or light tuner/non-tuner.

To have a herald with more than 1 or 2 negates you need a perfect hand and to never get negated.
Megalith drytron is actually much more consistent at getting out your 4k chad rituals and borrelsword, at the cost of having 0 space for any kind of proper negate or hand trap. Pet deck at best now sadly.
Plus I swear the RNG specially fucks with drytron, I consistently get at least 2-3 bricks every single fucking game. I have to run a 50 card deck to avoid pic related.

Live Twin Spright has the same issue playing Diva in regular Spright does, it's risky as fuck for a high roll you don't need. You can analyze decks and not play them. Though I imagine that's hard for a person like you who plays plays the same shitdeck and constantly loses to meta of the week.
Spright still needs to play decent normals. The issue is that Spright itself only has 3 normals and two of them are bad. The only other options is Spright Frogs.

Why is Brilliant Fusion limited while Braindead is at 3?

Don't look at the card, look at what is used to summon with it.
Brilliant Fusion has no summoning restriction and gets you a free body on the board that gives a second normal summon. Some combo enablers are too degenerate even for Japan.
Brilliant Fusion was used as a universal extender outside of Gem Knights, Branded Fusion is heavily locked into Branded and every Branded splashed variant is worse than just playing Branded except maybe one of them. It's like asking why an in archetype Foolish is at 3 when Foolish itself is at 1.
Because Brilliant Fusion that is so degenerate that if it was at 1 today, people would play the Predaplant engine to search it out. It is a card that breaks yugioh on a fundamental level.
At the cost of playing 1 Garnet and 1 ED slot, you can Foolish a light, gain an extra normal and a level 5 light body.
It's just too much advantage.

What's the point of most semi-limits if the person draws it anyway? I hardly notice Aluber, Longyuan, and Spright Starter at 2.
Japs love the semi-limit, no idea why. It makes sense if you're purely hitting consistency cards or certain isolated tools like searchers or Dimension Shifter, because you can't search them and so it's less likely that you'll have all the gas/tools you'll need all the time. Variance is a big part of yugioh and dealing with that variance is where a lot of the skill factor comes into play, IMO. However a lot of semi-limits aren't this, but rather slaps on the wrist Konami makes because they have to appear to do something rather than actually doing anything. In theory, Longyuan to 2 means you draw it one in every five games instead of one in three, but in practice it means you search it off Chixiao if you didn't draw it and search blackout instead if you did. Similarly Aluber to 2 means very little since the deck has so many ways to get to Branded Fusion.

JP Konami's insistence on keeping certain strategies and decks alive is probably their worst aspect, IMO. Remember them limiting True King because they didn't want to kill virtual world? Or banning like a dozen tuners in an attempt to keep Halq alive. Oh man, I love my favorite deck, Adventure Halqadon Turbo. It's great that for like 6 months every deck played exactly the same outside of, what, Drytron and Eldlich stun? Speaking of stun, I'm so glad Artifact Scythe and every floodgate is still legal. This idea that they want to "keep decks playable" has resulted in like 17 legal FTKs in Master Duel and a shit ton of ways to create complete non-games. They semi-limited like every floodgate and the only thing it did was make every Eldlich/Lab/Runick/Inspector Boarder stun variant cheaper.
But I really want to come back to the example keeping VFD legal in order to not make Virtual World players feel bad. Because it reveals the stupidity at the bottom of that philosophy. They weren't playing VW, they were playing VFD turbo and VW was just the best engine for it. Similarly, a lot of Spright-Twin decks aren't playing Spright-Twin, they're playing Scythe lock turbo. It's a strategy that suppresses an actual deck and creates a hideous non-game unless you hard draw a very specific out.

The point about Spright-Twin being Scythe lock turbo and the OCG not banning VFD to """preserve VW""" means that the OCG and Master Duel prioritizes keeping strategies alive even when they clearly hurt both intended design and homogenize decklists. There are a lot of ways to play Live Twin, or really any deck. Labrynth in particular can be a lot of fun just due to all the tech cards you can run. However labbing out tech cards against popular decks is almost pointless because the far and away best version of the deck is just floodgate turbo. Why run Mischief of the Gnomes when Skill Drain and TCBOO demolishes Spright just as hard? It's the same strategy as Eldlich and Runick Stun. The goal of a banlist is to diversify decklists but the OCG's philosophy, and by extension Master Duel, is to keep cards in the game unless they demonstrate that they are a clear problem. It's obnoxious, and the game would be better served by bringing the hammer down on cards that create non-games like VFD.

You don't want this. It was limited in TCG a short time before it was banned. It was the most frustratingly sacky bullshit imaginable.
If the goal is to balance her, you wanna make her a "once per turn, and only once that turn" card (like Witchcrafter spells). Once per Chain would make her vulnerable to Called By, but her ability to dodge that effect is secondary to her ability to generate infinite extra deck fodder and flip monsters face-down on-summon.

Would searchable monster reborn break Infernobles? Genuinely asking I have no idea if that deck is any good outside of the handloop.
MD has proven that after all this power creep, FTKs are no longer an issue. Modern deck can "FTK" you if you don't have interruptions anyway, and in turn deck run more interruptions so FTKs are less constant in the real game even if they are perfectly consistent in demo room.
Cards that are banned just because of FTKs can slowly start coming off the banlist.
First of all, yes. It is. They want Monster Reborn limited because of how generic it is and because it's not once per turn. Including this means that it's essentially no longer limited. But equips are more searchable, and if this were returned to your hand you'd keep the monster and immediately get to use it again.
