Why doesn't valve just keep the game updated constantly with fan content? What other game has a loyal enough fanbase to keep creating maps and cosmetics? Why is valve standing in the way of this?

Valve screwed over the Artifact fanbase by cancelling the Artifact 2.0 beta without even allowing users to invite friends like they said they would in January 2021 and does not deserve your financial support for these gross consumer-unfriendly practices.

Versus was a lot of fun but if survivors were good then infected had 0 chance of killing them. As time went on and people continued to get better, versus became less and less fun.

Community servers are dead because of casual mode.
There's Valve servers running Pier and Swiftwater though
and Mossrock (formerly Whiterock)
TF2C has an official custom server that runs a good chunk of them but its only active sometimes
