Dunno about other anons, but to me the 2009 wolfenstein is a piece of my childhood
My dad managed to snag a cracked version and installed it for me
I loved the game, but remember being scared shitless by the nazi assassins and the bug queen level, where you have to shoot her with a flak as she moves towards you
Must be sad and draining having to convince yourself every second of your life that people who like what you don't like are merely pretending. You're supposed to grow out of that mindset by college.
The OP doesn't even like Wolfenstein, he spams this shit for a multitude of vidya series to rile people up. Before it was Fallout 3, Doom 3, and now it's Wolfenstein's turn. It was funny at first, but like any good thing on this site, he had to run it into the ground. Now for frick's sake, stop bumping these threads.
Yes but then you actually reflect properly on these games by way of retrospective or you replay then and realize the inherent flaws. In this case they are so unbelievably profound that anyone who enjoys this game you can simply conclude has an absolutely minute spectrum of video games under their belt. There is no redeeming quality or favorable aspects to this iteration of Wolfenstein. It is quite simply derivative garbage with all the familiar trappings of the period. Its predecessors already tackled similar ideas and with MUCH greater success. Have you even tried firing a weapon in the game or moved around? It's sluggish, almost insulting so for a Wolfenstein game. It's so incredibly dull that Youngblood almost looks like a competent shooter by comparison. But to each their own. For me I started FPS with the original Wolfenstein around 1992 and this particular entry into the series was disappointing.
But yes, to each their own. If your toddler brings home his shitty drawing and you put it on the fridge and then you worshipped it like the second coming of Monet I suppose that would be a similar vein.
I skipped it when it came out and played it two years ago out of curiosity. It's not awful but felt too much like a generic CoD clone, despite the Veil powers trying to add some spice to it. Though for some reason, I really enjoyed hunting for secrets in it, and that's what I remember it for.
Anyone that thinks these threads are a statement on Wolf 09 fans is a massive moron. The guy just takes the least popular game in a random series, spams threads for a week or two, and then moves onto the next series. He's probably never played a Wolfenstein game in his life.
Oh sweet, the latest shit game that contrarians call a masterpiece just dropped.
it was always a good game if judged by modern standards
>if judged by modern standards
So the standards of shit games and moronic zoomers, got it. Makes sense now.

What a world we live in!
It's just another thread about a second rate vidya OP played before his parents were divorced.
I swear they straight up recycled the gun animations from COD2
Fallout 3 and Splinter Cell Blacklist threads didn't pan out?
I like particle cannon it sounded like WHOOLOOO ZZZZSSSSSHHHHH
Return to castle >>> any other wolfenstein game
God, ID Tech 4 was such an amazing engine.
These ironic chad threads are boring
Especially when the game is ultra trash like this COD clone
