I bought it but it looks so gay I'm reluctant to play it
>looks so gay
What?
It looks gay, what don't you understand, moron b***h?
send your copy to me please ( i am broke and i will send you a thank you)
No. Get a job sir.
By being an old game, ergo good.
Stop projecting.
Stop coping.
>coping
>mfw
If you blew 60 dollars on a game to not play it when you could have spent that on a prostitute means you are the gay one here
It's the white man's game.
THIS. I mean, where are all the blacks and trans women?
lol you guys got a PSP game and bloated it to 20 gigabytes
Better than Splatoon 3 and bayo 3 that's for sure
it's fricking garbage.
i never played game where recruiting characters requires to fricking grind them to levels where they are actually competent. just let me pay extra to get competent characters jesus.
just recruiting monsters in the early game is such a fricking annoyance. i literally have everybody on the map dead and some lizardman on low health (30% chance rate da fuq). consists of me passing turns and hoping to RNG it lands this time. why is doing anything in this game bring it to a screeching grinding halt.
the "tactics" part. whateverthefrickthisis. positioning your characters and using abilities is tactics? that's basic b***h game design in isometric games moronos. i get told this matsuno guy is a fricking genius and this is basic b***h shit done in roguelieks (all more intricate than this game btw). i just collect phys up power cards and delete shit in two hits. extremely tactical. doesnt even match up to JA1 or FO1 one honestly.
>i never played game where recruiting characters requires to fricking grind them to levels where they are actually competent
This literally isn't a problem anymore in Reborn, are you moronic?
You sound like a useless person.
>that's basic b***h game design in isometric games moronos. i get told this matsuno guy is a fricking genius and this is basic b***h shit done in roguelieks
But it was made in the 90s, it's practically what set the standard for those mechanics. Creating something that hasn't been done before IS genius. You sound like a troll or underage. If you were just ignorant now you're not, your welcome.
>Creating something that hasn't been done before IS genius.
Do you think TO was the first SRPG or something?
>But it was made in the 90s
you sound like a poser gayit who started tbt games with this game only. Does UFO Enemy Unknown cross your small pea brain? A game over three decades old, 10x the amount of mechanics and details TO could ever hope to have. it might be influential in the japanese console/handheld meatspace, but what's teh fricking competition? FE?
you're a homosexual pressing buttons behind a screen on an anonymous forum. give it a rest.
>you're a homosexual pressing buttons behind a screen on an anonymous forum.
Still not projecting, right?
I knew this moron comment was coming up. Stop pretending anyone liked x-com's initial release, splitting hairs over games developed at tne same time like it matters, and making real xcom fanboys look bad.
Uh, what? I enjoyed Xcom on initial release homie. What are you on about? Game was fricking great and a real gem to play during the DOS era. I also greatly enjoy Ogre Battle games and Tactics is a fine gamae. What a confusing thread.
This is some anti-testosterone shit right here.
Yea, it's pretty bad. No idea what these morons are raving about. The story is atrocious as well. I played through chapter 1, and it's just a bunch of nonsense about waring factions that are never introduced besides in a cutscene you have to sit on the title screen for 30 seconds to watch, and even then it's some of the most cliche shit I've ever heard. The level cap is pure moronation and so is the RNG card spawns. As well as entire class doing LITERALLY one damage to armored units. Apparently they nerfed archer from being OP to completely useless for some reason, and the cards weren't even in the original game... I dropped it at the end of chapter 1 when they make you play LITERALLY the exact same long ass boring battle again except this time from the opposite side of the map. Talk about not respecting the players time. I do like the choice at the end of chapter 1, but that is about the only interesting thing I've seen in this game.
Based. The only good thing about Matsuno trash are the stories. If you want good gameplay, play Fire Emblem instead.
By actually being a good game.
Why does she look like she's posing for her brother?
It's a game from the 90s so it was bound to be better than anything released in the last 15 years.
isn't it a little too expensive for a 1995 game?
Waiting for a sale, I am playing Shining Force 2 in the mean time. It's good but I miss my homie Domingo 🙁
i miss shining force. The fact that even the cash grab gacha will never see the light of day proves just how dead SF really is.
I feel like a new one would do pretty well with the popularity of Fire Emblem and all the other recent SRPG games like Triangle Strategy, Front Mission remakes and this one. But Camelot is now Nintendo's sports game slave and Sega is moronic.
>slightly polished version of game from 30 years ago
>actually seems like the best alternative when compared to multiple titles that are just coming out
Where did everything go so wrong?
Gen 7. You were probabbly defending it back then.
Not really now that I think about it.
Gen 7 was the moment I started to play more on PC than consoles.
I missed the 2D stuff from Gen 5 so I would either play on emulators or search for weird games online.
>Not really now that I think about it.
>Gen 7 was the moment I started to play more on PC than consoles.
Typo?
>load up game for Switch
>menu has an option for literal keyboard keybinds for some reason?
Aaaand dropped
the only good game square enix put out all year
Is there any real difference between the Switch and PC versions? Like does the Switch version unexpectedly run poorly or anything like that?
Nope, but Mouse controls are good and modding tools are already out and being developed, so only go Switch if the portability is a factor for you.
Pokémon isn't even out yet, you can't know if it mogs it.
pirating this game = based
buying this game = moron
