>The next 7 star Pokémon Scarlet & Violet Raid Battle has been announced.
>Pokémon to be revealed later but Poison-type
>Runs from January 27th through 30th and February 10th through 13th.
Who could I be bros? Betting on Greninja
Nothing Ever Happens Shirt $21.68 |
What's the point of revealing at later date? Sounds like "actually we don't know yet because we are too lazy to think of it right now" kind of excuse to me.
to get more engagement out of the game, at least discussion-wise.
Engagement? What engagement? GF have zero history of engaging their target audience
>target audience
Oh so that’s what Khu means by Poison boss
>Poison Type
Oh noes what about muh raidmarill?
Greninja or Delphox seem the most likely
Screenshot looks like it'd be Greninja crouching. Other starters would be taller.
I’m thinking it’s Greninja
>bring a ground type to deal with the poison Tera
>he has water/ice moves and maybe grass knot
>decide to bring a psychic Pokémon
>he has dark type moves
Dios mio…
Bring a Steel type? Raid cats back at it.
Could very well have a fighting move like low kick or low sweep
Solo is fricked then. Or maybe Iron Threads will be an unexpected dark horse this time?
Forsake STAB. Just aim for neutral coverage. Looks like we will be relying on Iron Hands again
calm mind stored power florges, boom
>Greninja used Gunk Shot!
Greninja with Gunk Shot/Water Shuriken/Grass Knot/Acrobatics/Swords Dance
Why do you people care for this stuff it won't even have a dex entry?
The raid rewards, moron
>way to farm shit tons of shards/vitamins/patches
>new mon to catch for comp use
>unique mark
>perfect IVs
>beneficial nature
>exclusive mon (for now)
>hidden ability
>fantastic rewards
And these raids are kind of fun, if you can look past the buggy spaghetti code / connections. Sometimes the stupid coding and randoms are funny even when you lose.
It's gonna be Incineroar
Not in the game
What's a Pokemon in the games code that looks like it could be Poison type?
It's not going to be a poison type
Charizard had dragon tera and Cinderace had Fighting tera
>Charizard looks like it could be Dragon type
>Cinderace looks like it could be Fighting type
Yeah it's Greninja, frogs are known for being poisonous
Only a small percentage of frog species are poisonous. If anything that relates Greninja to poison, its the ninja gimmick
ASH-GRENINJA IN THE HOUSE TONIGHT!!!
Reckon its Annihilape time
>only poison attacking move greninja gets is gunk shot, so its almosy definitely going to be physical
>bulk up in its face, tank the hits, then rage fist it to death, adding in shell bell for sustain
Only potential downside is Acrobatics but they already gave that to Cinderace
Greninja will probably have a dark type attack.
Dark is neutral on Annihilape, anon
It could have Extrasensory, though. In fact, Extrasensory is associated with ninjas in Pokémon for some reason, with both Greninja and Shiftry getting it as a level up move. Hell, it even used to be the Shiftry line's signature move.
My guess for its moveset is:
Water Shuriken
Night Slash
Gunk Shot
Extrasensory
And then for extra moves I bet it gets Rain Dance, Taunt, or Double Team. I guess they could go full physical, but this seems more "thematic" and these raids have usually went that way, especially since they didn't give Cinderace Gunk Shot or Charizard Solar Beam, even though it would've made it harder and kept them to "soccer moves" and "fire breathing dragon" moves
Unironically it's Quagsire time
