Sorry bud, its confirmed: rdr 2 is a boring dad game that holds your hand like a helicopter mom. Try playing GUN on hard mode, you wont even make it out of dodge city PUNK

I've never made it to saint penis. I don't hate the game but the missions start to feel like a chore after a while.

I don't get it. If the games so bad and boring why does it average 5 million sales a year over 5 years later? If it were truly bad then the narritve would be out and no one would want to play it. See Starfield, not even 8 months later.

I forget, is the city fully explorable? If so that's a real "Gandalf approaching Gondor" moment.

        Anonymous

Yeah, and there's 3 of those cities in the first game.

        >I forget, is the city fully explorable
initially, no. you have to do 3 iterations of the same mission thrice, complete with mind numbing ubitower climbing, to unlock the 3 parts of each city. ultimately it doesn't matter much because each city is very samey and uniform in every part of it and there's nothing to do other than the story missions & dozens of copy pasted rescue bystander / synchronize tower missions.

Anon this is the first game with the climbing mechanic, there was nothing "mind numbing" about it at the time, everyone was excited to climb all over the place. Now the mission structure, that was unnecessarily repetitive but I guess devs hoped that you would roleplay and experiment and find your own fun that way

First time you see the Flood in Halo 1. I was like 9 and almost pissed and shitted myself

You are correct. I may have spoiled myself by finding it on my own after a night of exploring but goddamn, what a feeling. Coming out of the dark spooky woods and marshlands to this wonderland felt like walking into the god dang future.

      my man

      night city is better

IF you were to go there organically at the start, huge missed opportunity. Imagine starting on the outskirts and soon physically making your way there as opposed to beings transported via qte

What's so special about the ending of mother 1? The fact that boss talks during boss battle? I just played it recently and it's nice but I wasn't shocked by the ending or anything
Never played the eng version though, there's an expanded ending there apparently, but then it's not called Mother 1 is it

Very big case in Bioshock games unfortunately, Hooge and very cool city but horribly small maps and lack of exploration

RDR2 is so boring I never remember it until somebody brings it up (and I think about video games often).
that area is pretty at night, sure but it's not even the prettiest game anymore. cyberpunk has taken its throne so now it's nothing more than a game that "looked really good for its time and had a lot of details". the game was fricking boring and the story was mediocre so the visuals /w the graphics and animations was the ONLY thing the game had going for it. And I prefer good art styles in interesting settings over muh realism in boring settings anyways

You're kidding right? I love RDR2 to death but entering Mexico and Runaway Train plays in RDR1 will be one of the greatest moments in video game history, also the song that plays as your speeding back home and family on your ranch in RDR1 after killing Dutch. KINO

this whole sequence. rushing back to the castle, seeing zelda and impa fleeing, ganondorf dunking on you, getting the ocarina of time, running to the temple of time, placing the sacred stones, the door of time opening, pulling the master sword out, talking to rauru, then sheik, seeing the castle town destroyed. everything leading up to that was the BEGINNING of the adventure. master class video game.

    Final Fantasy X

    ?si=W_36scPp-0VvxMTh
What plays here, is the Black Mages band, which is the metal band playing Final Fantasy tracks by Nobuo Uematsu. They have some good stuff.
    >Go into the sand and the dust and the sky
    >Go now, there's no better plan than to do or to die
    >Free me, pray to the faith in the face of the light
    >Feed me, fill me with sin and get ready to fight
When it hits, you know shit is about to go down.

    Also in FFVII
