>shit bullet patterns
What does this even imply? That you're bad? Got it >dodge roll
You can just flip a table or something dodge roll is an unfortunate mechanic that has become the norm sorry old man
NEVER said it was hard ESL kun just that nothing you said inherently is a flaw because nothing you said is an issue with the game but more an issue with your skill level.
>literally takes 10-15 hours for you to start unlocking the actual fun items >teleporter are retarded, just let me teleporter to ANY room for fuck's sake >rainbow mode is both amazing and game ruining at the same time, you'll never want to go back to the regular game but at the same time it feels empty because there's literally no reason to pick of 90% items, especially the fun but not particularly useful ones like familiars >secrets are painfully retarded, you'll NEVER figure out most unlockables like the secret characters on your own >damage cap robs the best part of playing a roguelike: getting an amazingly overpowered run and in this game you're stuck with specific weapons like the Yari Launcher for that >shields are damn nearly useless because they won't protect your Master Round status or no-hit bonuses from passives/weapons >no God-tier melee weapon, Casey Bat is kino but the reload AND charge up kills it
I could probably think up more but you get the idea.
I found that coop mode gives you the best bang for your buck to solve some of your issues but I guess if you don't have anyone to play with it does become a bit tedious but it's otherwise more fun than other games given how tight the system and overall mechanics work
Gungeon is the first game in my 20 years of playing that I ever just felt the need to want to platinum it
I got 100% completion and I agree with every word you said, I don't even onow what else I would add
if anyone wants a tip while playing never open blue chests, every weapon and item in them is terrible, you're actually better off with brown over blue. just blast blues for the trash and move on
>table techs are secretly some of the most useful items in the entire game, not even overpowered combos will let you clear late game rooms like them >no other way to get them besides wooden chests or rarely in the shop
Well then.
but why would you care about any of them? you're getting s tiers in every layer, I have railgun and ancient heros bandana, I don't need a fucking mahoguny and a freeze bomb
passives, he drops a bunch of passives
also the guaranteed rat items are great, one of them is a strong invulnerability and another a hover item, both pretty dang good in bullet hell
You can't use the rat chests in rainbow mode so it's very much useless like anon said. Actually that's just one of rainbow mode's problems in general, getting overpowered items is cool and all but it just feels empty and dull to not actually be able to use chests. Even as the Robot there's no reason to break them (besides feeding to the sewer guy in the Hollow or your serpent) because your 5% damage bonus per junk might as well not even exist.
oh righty forgot about that
still, bunch of extra items and access to the serpent are worth it
after all if you've got a build that can comfortably take on the rat, why not go all the way and take on the advanced dragun
It's not Nuclear Throne
I've 100% Gungeon and only got like 200 hours in Nuclear Throne and yet it's easy to see which game is flat out better than the other
For a game that's so obsessed with guns, how the fuck did it manage to make the starting guns so boring? Instead of "just one more run" I would often stop playing because I hated restarting, since it meant spending the first few minutes with a literal peashooter
I didn't even get far enough to get the golden starting weapons. I basically stopped playing the characters that wasn't huntress, since she at least started with something that wasn't cancer. But then I got bored only playing a single character and dropped the game altogether. Instead of unlocking a fucking shortcut, maybe you could unlock a weapon crate to start off with? That would have kept me playing

thread's already over, guess i'll go home
Shit bullet patterns.
Dodge roll.
>shit bullet patterns

Oh god. It thinks its baby game is hard.
NEVER said it was hard ESL kun just that nothing you said inherently is a flaw because nothing you said is an issue with the game but more an issue with your skill level.
HP scaling
The artstyle.
t. 100%'d the game
Also why was my post not submitted? It wasn't porn
Let's see if this one works
Bosses have a hard lock on how much you can damage them per second.

Well then.
you only have to collect the parts for the bullet once. it would be better if everytime you used it you would have to make a new one.
Binding of Isaac is better in every single way.
>enter the Resourceful Rat's lair
>collect my rainbow chest
>take the wrong paths and continue to the next floor
>become so adept at rainbow runs you go through all 10 layers, find clone on the last one
oh yeah, it's a 2+ hour run time
>not killing the rat in rainbow mode
he drops a shitload of items that you can actually keep anon

I disliked this game greatly, and I enjoy games in this genre muchly. It just looked and felt like shit.
it was too hard for me, never could go further than level 3
It's indieslop.
They chose to make random spinoff games instead of a proper top-down sequel.
Shit guns, shit gunplay and shit pacing
Falsely advertises itself as a Roguelike
done
Superior Nuclear Throne exists
Repetitive as shit. Isaac is still the king.
>Isaac
>better than throne
>better than gungeon
Lol
Lmao even dumb millenial gay
Isaac absolutely better than gungeon, wtf are you smoking?
It's not Nuclear Throne

You can really tell the developers fucking hate fun.
