Nah I found the last action hero game on the snes clunky as frick because it literally is. Or how about the Indiana Jones game on the same platform? Dracula? Super Bonk? Clunk garbage.
Tomb Raider's controls were fine, they're just different, and take some getting used to. The games never required anything of you that the controls couldn't handle. Once you do acclimate to the controls though, the first three Tomb Raiders really are some of the finest gaming experiences you can have. The slow deliberate nature of the controls leads to a unique kind of exploration and platforming that no other game has ever had. I implore you to give them another chance, you're really missing out.
Only the case with RE3 for me. The first 2 are fun little exploration based games with simple but memorable boss fights. The third game is obnoxious with the fricking boss fights, Nemesis really tests your ability to move around with tank controls which is the shittiest aspect of the games and now it feels like that's the whole point of the gameplay. The game also goes on for too long.
Vagrant story. Honestly a great game but the menuing is pure torture. Can’t believe somebody thought it was okay to release that shit in its current state
>he doesn't know If you're upset about everyone spotting you through disguises, you fricked up. You're supposed to physically turn away from npcs so they can't see your face, they see through your disguise a LOT slower that way
[popular old game]

Tomb raider is trash with its tank controls. How anyone could play Mario 64 and also think this shit was okay was moronic. Thats boomers for ya.

any sonic game
Wrong. Modern sonic is fine. It was anything from the GameCube era and before that sucked.
ocarina of time and link to the past, very shitty games overrated by toddlers
moron boostgay
every dragon age
Pitfall 3D
Gothic 1's control scheme filtered me but I'll come back eventually
Don't worry, the game gets shittier every chapter. If you play through the first chapter you have seen the best the game can offer.
first person platformer/shooter where you have to know how to crouch jump
Gothic, except it wasn't new when I first thought that.
This thread isn't for you then, grandpa. Go back to complaining about your back.
TES won
Trump lost
If you can't into Gothic you're a brainlet
Uncharted 2
Every PS1-era Resident Evil, including Dino Crysis, their nearest relative. I never liked tank controls.
Same, I've tried so many times

I still have dreams have minmaxing that game. Alas.
I still haven't done a playthrough of gothic despite all of the good things I've heard of it, bc the controls are terrible.
Hitman 2: Silent Assassin.
Frankly, the only old games I can stand are turn based ones or 2d games, most old 3d games are shit.
>he doesn't know

No, I'm saying everything about the game feels old now, from the controls to the gameplay. I don't find it enjoyable.
For reference I do like old games like UFO defence and Thief, I just don't like Hitman
Oh. I thought Codename 47 felt dated but Silent Assassin felt fine.
Wouldn't a nerd be more tolerant of "clunkiness" in older video games than most people?
PUBG
It fricking sucks
Sniper Elite 1. This brings me profound shame.
Same, but I blame the game. It was 2005, they had no excuse
Gta 3
Basically any game before 2015 for most kids nowadays.
System Shock is unplayable.
Freedom Fighters for the XBox Phat. It's not even the clunkiness, just the general ass-tier, unremappable control scheme.
FFXI
That's what people say about early Rune Factory, but I liked it better when it was clunky. It made the combat have the same rhythm as the farming.
Kingdom Hearts 1
Devil May Cry 1
Resident Evil before 4
fire emblem 1
bg 1-2
fallout 1-2
ja 1-2
aow 1-2
t. 28 yo bzoomer
>fallout 1-2
Do you like any isometric RPGs?
for me its any game made before 2018
WEEWOO WEEWOO
UNDERAGE SPOTTED!!!!
Honestly I don't even know if I can name a game that came out after 2018
Point and cleek games.
Even as a kid on my first PC I would sooner replay the demo for fricking Rise of the Robots than another hour of The Dig.
oh the dickyness
Elderscrolls II: Daggerfall
DMC 1
