>Product Description >TYPE-MOON, known for the wildly popular mobile game "Fate/Grand Order" and the epic visual novel "Tsukihime," is releasing a remaster of the 2012 hit "Witch on the Holy Night.
They just casually memoryholed FSN
I know it's easy to forget but FSN still has never had an official English release. It makes perfect sense that promotional material would prefer to emphasize their more recent hits than to acknowledge (and possibly unintentionally endorse) a pirated fan translation.
>Fate Stay Night was my first VN after Katawa Shoujo (circa 2013) >I got to be around for Hollow Ataraxia's freedom >I got to be around the Type Moon threads before Grand Order came out, when absolutely everything was FIERCELY gatekept and the armies stood stalwart against the secondary menace >Read Tsukihime >I got to play Melty Blood with one of the guys in this picture >They're the one that got me into fightan >Because of some beautiful gay who told me to read the fucking VN I got into my favorite hobby
Funny how life works.
I got into TM last year after reading Tsukihime.
Read Mahoyo earlier this year, it's definitely my favorite of their works, though I haven't read TsukiRE or F/sn yet.
So, cool to see the remaster coming to a more suitable system, hope people like it.
Oh believe me, I'm going in expecting to love it, the patch just came out at a bad time for me so I haven't been able to get around to it yet.
Plus I feel like I should probably read F/sn first anyways, as different as TsukiRE is from the original it's still at it's core something I've read before, while I haven't read Fate.
Tsuki re shits on the original so hard and fixes so many of its problems
yet there are hundreds of boomers telling everyone it sucks
I will never understand the TM fanbase
Based. Though it sad Ganker threads were dead as fuck. This board somehow can't into switch emulation.
It's already confirmed by incident in new TM ACE. And before Nasu said he's isn't against Tsukihime on PC but for steam version he want worldwide English release
It's such a crime that Riddell is supposed to be a significant character in Part 2, but all we'll ever see of her is a small role in a side story because Mahoyo 2 is never ever.
If it's the same as the Switch release, there's really nothing to censor. This one doesn't have sex scenes. Which is a fucking travesty because jesus christ Aoko. It does have a solid translation, it's a fun kinetic novel (no choices or routes) that does some cool shit with what it has. It's one of the first VNs I've read that I unironically think could not benefit from an adaptation.
Not like it really matters honestly. Tsuki/Mahoyo are important because of possible sequels and Red Garden. Maybe he's baking new updated FSN version. True HD unlike current RN. I just hope he's not making FSN remake
There's not much to talk about.
It never got a good English translation, the story has nowhere left to go so Nasu will never revisit it, and the endgame of LN relevancy (getting an anime adaptation) happened over 15 years ago.
>i get overwhelmed whenever I try into fate
just read the fate vns and then ignore everything else fate >is this related to fate at all or can I go in blind?
its related and you can go in blind, you dont need anything else >what is Tsukihime and is that related?
same as above
>I get overwhelmed whenever I try into fate
all you need to do is read the VN Fate Stay Night (Realta Nua version or the original if you're a boomer, the Realta Nua version has better effects and voices), and then read Hollow Ataraxia afterwards. >What is Tsukihime
https://www.readtsukihi.me/
Just read it. Yes it is related. No you do not need to read it but you absolutely should.
If I were you, I should read the original Tsukihime and then the fan-disc for that (Kagetsu Tohya), and then sit on it for a while, and when the second part of the remake releases/is translated, read both of those then.
If you read the remake without having read the original then certain, very very subtle nuances that you would otherwise miss will go over your head, which make the story much more impactful. Don't be ashamed to follow a walkthrough that leads you to all the hint corners (many are amusing) and collect all the CGs.
Read this like 8 years ago, it's good shit and fuck FGO/Tsukihime for the sequel never coming out.
Nah, just fuck Tsukihime in general. Overrated and shitty game.
>sequel
Wasn't it basically a VNification of old unpublished ranobe?
Moegarbage. Enjoy some actual kino instead of wasting your life on this trash.

They just casually memoryholed FSN
marketing wants to emphasize their most-known product in FGO, while referencing tsukihime because they're also localizing the remake.
>Grand Order is the defacto
Good. Fate stay night should have never happened. Easily the worst thing from Nasu.
Good. FSN is outdated for TM lore.
Good. FSN is garbage

>gachashitters in the replies
I don't play gacha, it's just a fact that FSN is so poorly written with a gay MC and a horribly done battle royal. Zero takes FSN and does it right.
>TYPE-MOON, known for the wildly popular mobile game "Fate/Grand Order" and the epic visual novel "Tsukihime,"
It's over for us, oldbros...they forgot

TsukiRE is extremely good, don't let the haters convince you otherwise.
Oh believe me, I'm going in expecting to love it, the patch just came out at a bad time for me so I haven't been able to get around to it yet.

Aoko's Aozakis

Aoko's Aokos
>next year is fsn 20th anni
do we have a chance bros...
It will be better fate to be forgotten
Would you rather get no FSN content or FSN content that shit on the original even more?
FINALLLLYY. Now i can enjoy pure aoko sex on my comfy gaming chair
Wasn`t it already translated?
>Visual Novel in 2023
The switch launch edition was pretty underwhelming. It's good that it's coming to steam, too.
how many saberfaces?
>a chance of Tsukihime remake on PC

>nasu
>kino
I recently finished vn and enjoyed it way too much. When will we get a part 2?
A year to port a fucking VN.
What did they mean by this?
Enough time for editors to fuck up the script
>Publisher: Aniplex Inc
Someone explain this shit to me. Sony has like four different labels it releases PC games on, what the fuck is the point?
Embracer has 4 different publishing houses too. It's probably licensing agreements.
Never played the original, is this censored? And is the translation at least decent?

>This one doesn't have sex scenes.
And what a fucking shame. Even just CGs would have been nice.
>The one visual novel people can read to 'get started' with Fate
>will be the only one without an official release
At this point, I can only assume Nasu is doing it on purpose for shits and giggles.
Not like it really matters honestly. Tsuki/Mahoyo are important because of possible sequels and Red Garden. Maybe he's baking new updated FSN version. True HD unlike current RN. I just hope he's not making FSN remake
>no one remember Kara no kyoukai
Live is suffering.....
There's not much to talk about.

Yeah. The real suffering is picrelated. It's still not finished. And Nasu still makes jokes about vol 3.
The last time KnK was relevant was when Mikiya and his kid showed up in Case Files. Its not completely forgotten.
I already read it on ryujinx Nasu you fucking garden gnome.
If you wanted the money of your original fans you wouldn't have spat in our face like you did.
nice
time to triple dip
i get overwhelmed whenever I try into fate - is this related to fate at all or can I go in blind? what is Tsukihime and is that related?

So is this going to be a good point to get into Type-Moon works?
