Sony is shameless as hell.

Is still weaker than a 1060?
>$549,99 + tip
we might be hitting 650$ - 750$ range
+tip of course
And stores will only sell it in a far more expensive pack that includes: a second controler, a charging stand, a very overpriced wireless headphone, 3 shitty games including two 'remasters' of a PS4 game and an expired can of monster energy drink. Plus tip of course.
Your Switch 2 won't even be faster than a PS4, chud.
>kids act like morons in class
>try to punish them gets the parents threatening to sue
How do teachers even cope
Still buying it
That's fine and all, but where are the games?
What's the point when every game on offer can be played at 60fps on the base models? The only thing that would interest me in a new model right now would be PS3 backwards compatibility being added. I have no interest in marginally better ray-tracing
It's so you can play the eventual PS5 games at 60fps silly 😉
Not every game has a stable 60fps performance mode or even a stable 30fps in fidelity mode.
Is this where you mention the only 2 games that don‘t?
2 out of 4 is a lot, anon.
I haven't encountered a single game that's any good whose performance mode dips enough to be noticeable
Its not about the Pro, its about having a slim Ps5 that isn't obnoxious in shape and size
Ps5 slim is seperate from pro and comes out later this year probably
I don't live in a closet; I'm not paying $500 just to lose half a cubic foot of clutter
devs have become so incompetent that they are upscaling 720p to reach 60 fps.
Don‘t care give me a slim
No Starfield no tip
Source?

At least it doesn't look as gay as the base model
Maybe it'll match the Series X in power
oh wow, finally I can play all those ports and remasters that are also available in pc...
They have a fanbase that will slurp out any shit they plop out. Of course they would charge that much.
You paid 350 dollars for a tablet that isn‘t half as good as the deck
>muh Switch!! >:(
>Le Steamdeck!! XD
Switch came out first
Oled came out the same year as deck and retailed at 350 dollars.
Yeah, so?
""""journalists""" have been saying this shit ever since the ps5 came out
its like every few months they release a report saying "rumor has it that a ps5 pro is coming right around the corner!"
and they will keep doing this shit until it actually comes out and then say "see! i told you so!"
Yeah. They did they same thing with the switch pro only to get btfo by the oled announcement.
>Still has a disk drive in 2023
Yeah I like owning my games
Only problem is you don't. They've started giving out download codes instead of disks
Really? I know some do that switch games but i haven‘t seen that with ps4/ps5 games unless you buy bundles
News to me. All PS5 games I've bought (unless they were stupidly cheap on the PS Store) were physical, but yeah, they were had to come by (comparatively to in the past).
>sony set to release more powerful sku in the midst of a "chip shortage"
>still no dolby atmos/vision support
>hdr container still fucked on ps5
>still no media player app for owned content
>browser is still broken and a "hidden" feature
>still boots to explore screen in the usa to show a full page of ads
>microphone still recording while "muted"
>on top of that
>no games
they'd have to be retarded to do this so early when their current console is still practically in beta compared to a fucking series s
I agree with most of this, but who the fuck uses browsers on their game consoles these days?
>slim is the norm
>now pro too
You are living in a timeline when a new revision of the console is planned before the game even has 5 exclusives
What the fuck is the point of buying a console at launch? The last few console generations have been nogaems until the last half of the console's lifespan. But by that point, the "pro" version launches, meaning the original console was abolutely pointless.
At least this time you got to play your PS4 games at much better settings if you bought a PS5 early.
ps5TM backwards compatibility has me excited to get one in the furfure. Too bad it didn't extend to ps3 games though.
how long until consoles become shells that use proprietary compute units that slot into proprietary connectors? like standard PC parts, but proprietary. you get your PS6 frame and slot in the processing and memory boards that meet your needs and budget.
>PS5 moggs 2000$ PCs
>PS5 PRO will mogg 4000$ PCs
BASED
>better design
>definitely better
>ps4 games that didn`t get imported to pc
>old and upcoming ps5 games
>FFXVI and FFVIIR
i'm definitely gonna buy it
It's gonna be 599 US DOLLARSand everybody will clap.
$599 in 2006 would be $893 in 2023 so yes that would be a very good deal.
Imagine believing that "inflation" is real.
>Already talks about a PS5 pro
>Still no games for the regular PS5
hm
>it's okay when nintendo does it
FUCK THE SWITCH!
