Literally the only European language that needs pronounciatoin guidelines because it doesn't have phonetic spelling and angloids have no idea which letter makes which sound because any letter can make any sound in their "language"
It's not about people being bad at videogames; Nioh simply is a bad game.
One of the bottom tier Souls likes alongside Dark Souls 2, Code Vein and Lords of the Fallen.
Nioh is nowhere near as bad as code vein or lords of the fallen. Really the biggest flaw is the loot autism (that niohfags will claim isn't a problem) and in the first specifically the limited weapon types get boring by the end.
Nioh is harder than Soulsborne but it doesn't have Soulsborne's prestige. People don't want to spend 3x the effort gitting gud at Nioh and then have nobody to talk about it with. They can just stay mediocre at Soulsborne and still feel relevant because there's 20,000 active scrubs like them all sharing the same experience. They cope by saying Nioh is just a bad game (which it legitimately is outside of its combat). What I'm trying to say is, Nioh is for real gamers. It's a series for people who are good at video games.
>get the spell that dispels effects on an enemy, good or bad >it doesn't dispel anything, only the effects that I put on them in the first place
I don't have the desire to trial and error what actually functions and there's not really a wiki to get this info from casually.
So, beat almost everything except the duo boss with the ninetails boss and never looked back.
Because they want to lose to him https://d.furaffinity.net/art/cheshirecatmaster/stories/1569941902/1569941902.cheshirecatmaster_fight_the_good_fight.pdf
I dont get why pepole get so hung up on achievement rates and shit. All it means is that 22% of player with the game in their library did it, not that only 22% of players could. Remind me of this thumbnail i saw about a roguelike where the uploader was proud of doing a "0.1% playerbase challenge". Except it involved playing on the highest difficulty on such an amount of loops it would be severly unfun due to repetitiveness and hp scaling.
Out of Nioh, Nioh 2 and Wo Long which is worth playing the most? I'm thinking of picking up Nioh 2 on PC. The storylines for Nioh and Wo Long look uninteresting from what I've seen.
In nioh 2 you serve under nobunaga who is a total bro this time around, treats you well and didn't go the "akshually a demon" route. It's akechi who is summoning demons. When you finally get to the part where nobunaga gets killed, you betray your friend from chapter one because he kills akechi for killing nobunaga and being a demon as well as summoning demon armies.
It's so fucking dumb I didnt even realize what the plot was doing until my third play through
>I don't like this game >I BET YOU HAVEN'T EVEN PLAYED 200 HOURS OF IT SO YOU CAN'T CRITICIZE IT! >Actually I did, it's not good >WHY WOULD YOU PLAY 200 HOURS OF A GAME YOU DON'T LIKE, LMAO YOU'RE AUTISTIC
you can criticize a game if you at least finished it. But seriously, why play a game you hate for that long? That only makes me think you're trolling, no one spends entire weeks of their free time on something they hate just to have an argument about it online, right?
Oh shut the hell up, I've seen countless niohfags try to shutdown criticism of their game because I "only" beat all the bosses on the initial difficulty, because they say that your opinion on the game doesn't count until you've played it up through NG+247 because that's when the "real game" starts. Niohfags are incapable of accepting any criticism and will make up absolutely any excuse on the stop to discredit anyone who doesn't worship the game like they do.
Not even that guy who posted those hours by the way.
sure, those people are retards. but why would you force yourself through nearly entire month straight (assuming 8 hours of play per day) of playing a game you hate? just so you can be smug in a fourchan thread?
if someone posts something like that, just discard their obviously retarded opinion instead of wasting your time trying to prove them wrong. No one is going to change their opinion on a game just because someone with 200 hours said it's shit. Like I said, it only makes me think the person is lying or trolling because no one can be that autistic.

I'm a mentally ill NEET and not even I value my time that little.
I remember farming the mission that was just that boss. Hit him with the slow down spell then melt the health bar with the twin katana attack where you just swing wildly.
>Why are people so bad at videogames?
it has fuck all to do with skill and everything to do with just getting bored of the game. I haven't finished like 90% of games that I've started because I simply didn't see anything in them worth my time.
If you play games you don't enjoy solely so you could sperg out about not getting filtered you're a retard. Life is too short to waste time on bad entertainment.
I can agree with this.
By the time I reached this mission in the game I was already burned out.
The issue with these games, Wo Long, and Nioh 2 as well, is that it fucking drags on for a fucking lot. Not sure if it's an issue with their storytelling or just repetitive filler missions, but it feels bad imo.
not everyone can dodge bullets like mother fucking neo
https://clips.twitch.tv/PoorSarcasticTireBrokeBack-sskry67J705aVvCB
and the people who cant get assmad about it
It's not about dodging the bullets on reaction, it's about learning the timing of how long it takes the enemies to fire, keeping track of it in the back of your mind, and already be pushing the dodge button as the bullet comes out.
Watch the clip more carefully and you'll see he's already dodging before the bullet actually comes out.
Nioh's bosses are just unfun with all their oneshot attacks. There's no back and forth, you either die in one hit or destroy them. I think the Nobunaga fight is the only one I liked, I haven't done the DLC.
Everyone's talking about how Nioh is insanely hard, but I struggled more with DS3 and Sekiro.
The game gives you all kinds of tools and abilities to use in combat am I missing something? Stuff like the RT+B counter in Nioh 2 is powerful as fuck
Am I crazy or is this one of those "If you used X you didn't beat the game" things?
I Beat Nioh 1 with heavy armor with Big Axe
Nioh 2 I beat with a staff and water magic
100x better than any Soulshitter boss
obsessed
>nioh thread
>can't go 5 words before the term "souls" is mentioned
Never fails.
>cacaconsumer.png
niohchuds have become a parody of themselves
They get filtered by Yuki-Onna and the stage the toad's in
ENTER
This fight was hard right up until I realized you just need to shoot her in the head.
You didn't beat the game.
Loved the fight, did it katana only.
The side mission with No, the Obsidian Samurai and Oda all at once was fucking ass cancer though
You only fight all three bosses at once if you're playing co-op. The triple boss battles are kino as they really test crowd control.
This is Nioh 2? I don't remember this fucking fight all. And the only Toad I remember fighting is some ninja toad some hot spring map.
p sure its a side mission
>Giant Toad
How is this strange name pronounced though?
"Giant Toad (Giant Toad)"
Japanese: Paired Raiken
English: Pronounced "RYE-ken"
Japanese Daiba-Washi
English: Pronounced DIE-bah WAH-shee"
Japanese: Mizuchi
English: Pronounced "MEE-zoo-chee"
Japanese Suzaku
English Pronounced "SUE-zah-koo"
Fucking americans
Literally the only European language that needs pronounciatoin guidelines because it doesn't have phonetic spelling and angloids have no idea which letter makes which sound because any letter can make any sound in their "language"
>putting emphasis on any character
You'll never speak Japanese.
People got bored of this shitty game before encountering the frog boss.
Filtered.
But i finished it and Nioh 2 and wo long.
I think I got past the giant ball of tar by the ocean and at that part I had already started running past everything to the boss. Nioh is boring.
>forsen gets filtered by hino-enma
>decides the game's combat system is bad
some people are just born retarded
Boring game
Wrong. Its awesome.
It's not about people being bad at videogames; Nioh simply is a bad game.
One of the bottom tier Souls likes alongside Dark Souls 2, Code Vein and Lords of the Fallen.
weakest b8
It's not bait; it's the objective truth and everyone agrees.
Nioh is nowhere near as bad as code vein or lords of the fallen. Really the biggest flaw is the loot autism (that niohfags will claim isn't a problem) and in the first specifically the limited weapon types get boring by the end.
>Toad boss is hard
It's not hard you fucking scrub maybe you should play a game that caters to shitters instead
You are dumb as fuck.
If I'm dumb and can beat the toad then that makes you absolutely retarded lmao
Any boss that has 360 degree swings is going to filter most people. I got stuck on him for hours until I started to use guardians and magic.
Nioh is harder than Soulsborne but it doesn't have Soulsborne's prestige. People don't want to spend 3x the effort gitting gud at Nioh and then have nobody to talk about it with. >nearly 1 out of every 4 scrub ass gamers who have fired this game up beat the toad boss
Why does Ganker pretend this game is hard, is more like it.
I simply couldn't bring myself to hurt this chad ninja
What's the problem? Normies still pay for the game and get to play only a fraction of it. I call it based.
He looks like he eats human men.
Because they want to lose to him

I'm replaying nioh and getting my ass kicked by every boss EXPECT giant toad, fucker was easy and had like 2 moves
>gatekeeps an entire DLC
Stop making me want to fuck Raikou.
>Has ton of cool moves
>Players can only use the most boring ones
pain

Nioh 2 probably.
Wo Long is alright, it's like a hybrid of sekiro and nioh.
Nioh 2
Its an improved Nioh, and Wo Long is just shit
They're all made by team ninja and thus have awful stories
In nioh 2 you serve under nobunaga who is a total bro this time around, treats you well and didn't go the "akshually a demon" route. It's akechi who is summoning demons. Nioh 1 is boring as fuck. It's got quality bits but it's not worth trudging through.
Now Nioh 2, that's a game
>Repetitive and incredibly tedious game
>"people must not be playing it because it's hard!" (it isn't)
Retard
What sort of autism drives a man to do something he doesnt enjoy for nearly 200 hours? Are you a streamer? Do you get paid to do what you hate?
>I don't like this game
>I BET YOU HAVEN'T EVEN PLAYED 200 HOURS OF IT SO YOU CAN'T CRITICIZE IT!

You are a retard.
You're not a morning person, then?
>Only 22% of players
most real gamers have checked out of the industry hoping it'll help it burn to the ground faster so we can have good games again
I remember farming the mission that was just that boss. Hit him with the slow down spell then melt the health bar with the twin katana attack where you just swing wildly.

this is the same reason Ganker doesnt talk about rocket league (no license?)
gz on memorizing a timing 🙂
