This board is so slow we all remember the last time you made this thread. It's boring.
Out of all the people from Sega to shitpost about, why do you choose this clown?
He's made a frickload more good games than your hero Miyamoto.
Why do you let Nintendo live in your head rent free?
Name 3.
Mario, Zelda, the list goes on...
Do you have Myemyemoto shrine or something? How does your mind warps everything to him for no reason?
Girl's Garden
Sonic 1
Chu Chu Rocket
No amount of clutching rosary beads, praying, lighting candles, incense, etc could have made Sonic X-Treme gracing store shelves at Christmas '96 a reality.
Op
Mad af for decades lolol
>self-styled "Father of Sonic"
>he merely programmed a tech demo that other people fleshed out into Sonic
I bet some people also think Bob Kane created Batman.
Public perception is everything.
Based. Sonic Xcrement was a disaster from day one. It was never going to be good, Nights engine or not.
And to think, it even had that all-star cast of Sega programmers, people behind such Sega classics as Dinosaurs for Hire, Cyborg Justice, and The Ooze. Shame that a game with so much promise was relegated to the landfill...
>filtered by The Ooze because it's too hard
Even the game's devs admitted it's not a good game.
All three of those games are unironically good. You homosexual or something?
not as if Nights was a good game anyway
>this again
Can there be a board threads that are themselves retro?
In all fairness, Xtreme would’ve likely been horrible anyway, so Yuji throwing a shit fit was a blessing in disguise
>takes their ball and goes home
why are computer/game programmers like this? Isn't it fortuitous for a game company's employees to share code, even between different territories?
He was merely trying to disassociate his name from the train wreck that game would have been,
*crashes Sega by demanding 100 million Yen to develop a shitty walking sim moviegame that predictably flops in sales*
Nothin' personnel
Frick off, Suzuki has plenty of great games under his belt, unlike Naka.
Is there an actual source for this anecdote? Or it's another bullshit story made up by western journalists and Sega of America?
As you might know STI couldn't get their Sonic X-Treme engine running because they were massively moronic so they asked to borrow the Nights Into Dreams source code instead but Naka got butthurt and said he'd quit Sega if they didn't give it back. To be fair Nights wasn't even finished at that point it was still an ongoing project.
