Wasn't the central building broken? I vaguely remember that intact tower was insanely OP if you controlled it. Control central tower and you essentially lock down the entire map
Yeh, if the building is intact the enemy team basically has the ability to parachute onto both sides of the map without a transport heli and keep constant pressure. Unlike most central control points it had a massive advantage save for teams sometimes being sitting ducks for chopper drive bys. Also I’m pretty sure the game spawns you at the base of the tower if people are trying to cap as you spawn so that was annoying.
The building going down makes it a regular old boring pile of rubble that gives a dense dust cloud around its part of the map, not as interesting but I guess the illusion of choice is there if you feel like the enemy doesn’t deserve their tower anymore
But it was also the most fun area of the map, and only homosexuals who actually care about winning or losing in a casual battlefield 4 match would destroy the tower
The attack heli is at least a lumbering target worth its weight in firepower at the cost of speed
You’re probably thinking of the scout heli, which is tiny, fast and is specifically built to bully infantry who can hardly do much in return without stacking armor or anti air
Truly it was the vehicle of homosexualry, an attack chopper felt like a boss battle, the scout is someone on either my team or the other grinding all match
>join rush server >no mortars, no mav, no shotguns, limited snipers/dmrs, no ucav, jets can't shoot choppers, >leave server >join everything allowed server >admin kicks you for killing him
The community ruined the game
>Was there any BF4 maps that were good for Rush?
Unfortunately no. I think they should've at least included Damavand Peak instead of Gulf of Oman for Second Assault, but either way, DICE may ruin it with a Levolution just as dumb as the sandstorm in Oman.
I don't understand what they were thinking when 'balancing' vehicles >smoke/flares are on an obscenely low cooldown >LoS is so easy to break >all vehicles can laser you to death from 10 miles away but the dumbfire missiles are basically gambling beyond 30 meters >the only thing anyone but engineer can do against vehicles is break LoS and wait for them to stop having fun >C4 is a guaranteed kill but good luck not getting roadkilled from 10 meters away when the vehicles moves slightly
And that's just off the top of my head
Because unlike in the earlier BF games, the TTK is much more lower and the guns can be used accurately as long as the player is good at microbursting/tapfiring and picking the right attachments.
only fun if the central building is intact
this, and sadly it never is. all the levelution shit in this game was good in concept but in practice it just sucked.
bf3>4
yes
>all the levelution shit in this game was good in concept but in practice it just sucked.
nah, you suck

>can't cap the roof
>babyrage and take a tank to shoot it down
bf1 had the most kino maps, except desert shit
only fun until the attack heli spawns

I remember liking BF4 a fair bit, the destruction stuff was gimmicky but at least they were trying back then, and it had some cool moments.
>bf3>4
The only good map in base BF4 is Zavod
flood zone is alright if you ignore the gas station
no it's a shit map because there are too many places where the attack heli can hide outside of the map

Just don't. The maps are horrible for this gamemode.
>Just don't. The maps are horrible for this gamemode
Was there any BF4 maps that were good for Rush? BF3 had a few imo
>Siene Crossing
>Strike ar Karkand
>Caspian Border
>Kharg Island
>Was there any BF4 maps that were good for Rush?

>introducing levolution, the next generation system that lets you make the map worse in real time
Levolution only ruined Shanghai, Oman, and to some extent Operation Whiteout.
The rest of the maps aren't really that affected by it, to be honest.
>Unironically one of the best Battlefield maps in the franchise
>Last DLC to come out as player count has decreased
Feels bad bros
It is fricking shit as soon as one of these fricking copters start dominating. There are no counter play since they can roam freely behind buildings.

Remembering the old battlefields makes me sick when I think about the current state 2042. Since 3 the games continuously have gotten worse.
>Have Medic class that can heal teammates
>In a game that has regenerating health
Why? What was DICE thinking?
Because unlike in the earlier BF games, the TTK is much more lower and the guns can be used accurately as long as the player is good at microbursting/tapfiring and picking the right attachments.
