ok but is this game good?
did they even change the gameplay or are you still holding M1 on both rocks and your own inventory?

There are now more reasons to mine rocks
It's very, very immersive
gonnna rape ya
its the same shit game as before with 20 awkward game subgrinds bolted on
some of the subgrinds have literally no purpose beyond grinding themselves
Im okay with building bases, but do you ever get plans for furniture and stuff to fill them in.
It's a very solid survival crafting game, on par with Subnautica. They definitely put the work in after the awful launch. But you have to be into the genre.
What are your favourite survival crafters?
It's not a survival game.
Like not even close.
Why are you lying you son of a bitch?
its weird ummm hard to explain but lots of content but feels shallow at the same time... not a bad game and its a good game at the same time. i cant seem to play it for more than a week at a time then lose interest but I always go back for that space exploration itch. I prefer X4 , X3:AP modded to the gills my self https://youtu.be/jGL0gk-qjRU
why do american journalists ask harder questions to todd than biden?
The amount of systems and side content bolted onto the game is truly impressive, but it's fundamentally the same game. Planets are boring and pointless to explore, combat is boring, it's slow to go anywhere or do anything, and 95% of the game play is inventory management.
wake me up when they add full alien crew companions (and not just the npcs that hang out in your base), the pets were good but still a bit too shallow
It's kind of cool now, but I wish the inventory systems was better. It's way too convoluted to craft and move things around.
I noticed that if you are in your capital ship, crafting can pull items from your storage containers. This makes crafting and inventory management far less of a pain.
i seem to remember too when you're on a planet and your cap ship is parked in the atmosphere you can access its inventory while you're on the ground and add/remove stuff.
if you have the matter beam tech for your capital ship you can access mats from storage even on planets so long as it's summoned in the same star system
they have freighter vs freighter combat now. but fundamentally its still the same game. i just boot it every now and then as a go around and look at shit kind of game
>still holding M1 on both rocks
when i played this game years ago you only shot rocks for early game. later on i just built gigaharvesters that do it automatically and dropped a portal nearby. then you just come by every and then and collect zillions of resources.
>and your own inventory?
iirc i got a mod that made inventory easier that removed all hold m1 stuff.
the game really wastes your time finding a good planet to call home and there wasn't much to do in space when i played. read they have kept adding more and more stuff but nothing really substantial to make planets more unique.
Sean and the team fixed the game 😉 come join us at r/NoMansSkyTheGame
take the stasis chamber/fusion ignitor pill
After playing st*rfield I found NMS to be not so bad afterall. Just as sterile experience but atleast I'm not exploring same labs and mines one after another. And I can land wherever I want.
I wouldn't call it good, but I honestly didn't like a single survival game other than Subnautica, Rain World and Pathologic in the last years.
VR mode fixes never.
The warning disabler at least lets you run around room scale. Regardless it's fucking sad that a lot of basic shit is broken. Of course the dickriders will insist that the game has been "engoodened" despite that fact.
in a nutshell, they made it interesting for 5 hours instead of 5 minutes
Never buying this game because of how shit it was on launch after Hello Games (or rather, the single retard from Hello Games) promised the world.
I'm just not going to buy it, that's all.
It's a good exploration / crafting sandbox. If you want story or challenging gameplay, pick something else.
why? why is it so hard to add a story and story side missions? fuck sandbox games, truly fuck them.
also, a real money auction house would help this game tremendously, but only if it's filled with story content
It does have a story, side missions and lore, but they are not a reason to play the game.
then they clearly suck mate. all the sandbox mechanics and survival crafting shit is stupid without a rich story embracing all of it.
>a real money auction house would help this game tremendously
how high are you right now?
sorry brother, I love RMAH. fuck Diablo III for killing it. and the whiny "muh pay to win n-noo" crowd. a well balanced game could work with RMAH, but most of the developers are dumb cowards so we'll probably need another 50 years for AAA games with RMAH to pop up again
retard
>Guns are shit
>Ships are shit
>Base building is nice
You can think of it as a subpar basebuilding game like factorio or satisfactory inside of a subpar space Sim. Kind of how Fallout 4 is a subpar survival game inside a subpar RPG. It's individual parts aren't amazing but the sum of its parts might be a great combo for you.
looks like among us
no.
it never was.
Its fun but the meme of it sucking is basically the inverse of Doom Eternal being better than 2016, only way to know for sure would be to play it and thats never going to happen
I never understood why there are so many resources and minerals to mine in this game, and yet there's fuckall to do with them.
Is E:D permadead now?
