sounds like you suffer from schizophrenia.
there's no such thing as schizophrenia. its a term invented by israelites to sell pills
>i miss
?
Replaying Skyrim gets better literally every year as mods become denser, more complex, more well-integrated, and more optimized. The Skyrim you can play in 2022 is orders of magnitude better than 2011 Skyrim.
this
it has pretty much been in continuous development since its release, without mods the game would be dead in the water
I've seen people have nostalgia for vanilla Skyrim.
Skyrim is perfect without mods
Skyrim is good without mods, sure, but no game is perfect.
Global Rule 2
>Global Rule 2
oh no, go call the jannies you homosexual
Put up or shut up
Sick of hearing muh mods with no links or arguments
Anyway the vanilla game never changes I will boot it up when I’m retired
yeah, it's a pretty good porn game
It's because we gradually realized Skyrim is redpilled and makes SJWs seethe.
Never played Skyrim until earlier this year. I thought it sucked for the first dozen hours but then got into the groove.
>2022
>Beyond Soirim still hasn't released anything other than Bruma
>and they keep announcing more beyond skyrims
>NO! NO! I WONT VOLUNTEER TO WORK ON A 75% FINISHED PROJECT! I WANT TO WORK ON THE GENERIC ELF-LAND FULL OF MEME PEOPLE THAT HASNT HAD ANY WORK DONE
Skyrim's story is horseshit
everyone knows that
Skyrim's atmosphere and nostalgia factor for anyone who's peak gaming enjoyment was circa 2012... it's fricking heaven.
Frick off.
Get your own overrated atmosphere generator. This is ours!
Fallout 76 happened.
>>on release: wow this is the greatest game ever

This never happened. We shat on the game for not having as good of quests as Oblivion or Morrowind right after launch. We shat on the perk tree system and the removal of classes before the game launched. And we shat on the backwards flying dragons shitting fire bug at launch. Game has always been the general decline of Bethesda to the point where everyone else makes better open world rpgs.
There is not a single open world game that has as many detailed characters, though. Every NPC in Skyrim besides generic enemies and town guards is an actual permanent person with their own schedule, as opposed to most open-world games where npcs either move between a small handful of preset quest locations or are dynamically generated to serve as background filler. Most of the NPCs in, say, Witcher 3 are closer to those in Assassin's Creed than in Skyrim.
>we
>liking Basedrim
>liking any b***hthesda games
I member shitting on gays buying Skyrim in school when Dank Souls was coming out.
imagine buying dark souls on release
literally more unfinished and unstable than a bethesda "product"
I know you weren't old enough to play big boy games at the time anon, s'okay
I know the only RPGs you've played are the ones that involve gay sex but you need to broaden your horizons instead of your butthole.
oof touched a nerve in your sphincter eh
Mid-2010s was when Witcher 3 released and it became cool among redditor normies to hate Skyrim and Bethesda because "le Witcherino did everything SO much better!"
Now in the last couple years the CDPR circlejerk died and people are coming around to realizing that Skyrim was ultimately the better and more memorable game.
I have been arguing TW3 was overrated since 2015. The entire game was propped up by its graphics/cinematics; it'd be incredibly mediocre without them. When people complained about Cyberpunk's lack of AI/interactivity, all I could think was "And you expected different from the studio that made TW3?"
>game actually kinda sucks, nowhere near as good as oblivion
this never happened
>rpg game has perks instead of skills
>skill level's only purpose is to intermittently dole out perks
it was lame from the start
ever heard of this little game from 1998 called fallout?
the average moron on Ganker has as many definitions of rpg as a troony has genders.
It's really not better than Morrowind, but I just can't place Oblivion above it
Never really thought it sucked tho, the game is legitimately good for a 2010s game, and vanilla is a great experience, but mods just elevate it above and beyond
The game was a 10 when it launched and now, with mods, it's still a 10
even on VR
i tried playing with too many sex mods and got bored. maybe if I had grown up with it I'd like it but alas. Maybe someday I'll turn off all the sexo and just play with qol and bugfix mods.
For me, it was just my expectations adjusting.
I can still play vanilla, though now I'm trying the shitty, free add-ons.
I do not miss Skyrim bros
Early release hype.
Post-hype criticism.
Nostalgia.
I want to go back too...
