I bought mine for Gravity Rush 2. Absolutely wasn't worth owning one before 2017 and it's barely worth owning one for its own sake now, but all in all it was a competent enough machine. Pathetic for a next gen upgrade, but considering the competition at the time of release "competent" sufficed. I don't think it deserves the sales accolades but who was going to stop it?

Not much to be nostalgic about. It's got a handful of games that aren't total embarrassments but PS1/2 chads will always be able to put this console in its place.

I do, but I don't see many highlights to praise in the first place. Once you trot out Bloodborne, Horizon, Naughty Dog's shit, Spider-Man and Ghost of Tsushima the bottom of the barrel's already within sight. Not that most of those matter to me against, say, Gravity Rush and MediEvil, but we're talking about games that people might actually remember fondly years from now. Maybe Killzone Shadow Fall and Infamous Second Son? The Last Guardian? The Order 1886? Okay, I'm taking the piss on that last one.

Only Sony console I didn't buy, I switched to PC and then bought a PS5 (lol) because it made more sense than a new graphics card

Sure, I missed Bloodborne but a console with only one game is not worth buying. Fuck Sony for killing off anything new and exciting for movieslop though.
ps4 pro, waste of money, should've kept my ps3. Shared the account with a friend, which was even worse, he kept wanting to buy goyslop games but when I wanted monster hunter world on release he stalled for a week before finally splitting. Meanwhile I bought a few games while waiting for his paycheck and he just bought shit games in return.
That aside, a few good games, got over 100 hours on several, which were released on pc later without 30-90 seconds load times

The only decent console of that generation was the Wii U. Only now most of the games on it have been ported to Switch. Miiverse was top comfy.
