One more thing, sir. You told me you couldn’t possibly have been at the crime scene at that time on account of your alibi, that being that you were at home playing your PlayStation 3. Now, forgive me, but if that’s true, I just gotta ask– how could you have been playing your PS3 if the PS3 has no games?
That's a really awful Peter Falk impression.
WOAH ANONS DO YOU REMEMBER THAT ONE EPISODE WHERE THE KILLER THOUGHT COLUMBO WAS DUMB BUT IT TURNS OUT HE HAD IT ALL FIGURED OUT FROM THE START AND ENDED UP CATCHING THE KILLER IN THE END?
kino
No. Refresh my memory.
Makes me shout "NO WAY" every time.
That's every case in Phoenix Wright too. It just works
The show was just about watching Columbo frick over murderers, and seeing how he'd frick over people who deserved to be fricked over.
Yes, the reveal is a part of every good detective story, good job identifying it. If done correctly the Author can even show you branching outcomes and subvert your expectations but the real story is shown at the end to reward the people following the details of the story and make people that predicted incorrectly feel foolish. You complaining about a reveal in a detective story is like complaining about sex in porn. The reveal is the intellectual money shot.
People like you killed television.
Yes, and I wish they did even more episodes like that.
yeah, it never gets old, unlike your stupid post
Yeah and it was peak TV.
Yeah and it was kino every time.
Yes and the repetition was enjoyable.
checkmate, detective
God I love Columbo, post kino endings
this has to be my fave
for me it's this one and the ski lift one
kino
Yep, that's the one for me
In this one though, the suspect still got away with it, except I dunno if he went crazy permanently
I was playing my backwards compatible PS1 games, mister detective.
>mogs every detective before and after
Classy chap
That isn't Detective Chief Inspector Barnaby.
I liked Nero Wolfe.
I prefer my Detectives shota-fied.
It's hilarious how David Suchet has been in a lot of other things too and a lot of people don't even even realize it is him because he sounds nothing like Poirot in real life or any of his other roles.
>gets the killer/inheritance thief and a bunch of innocents all together in the same room
>sometimes the criminal just pulls out a gun and tries to kill Poirot
>he has to hobble away like the cripple he is whenever this happens
What the frick, you bloody little frog?
Before that he of course openly outs most innocent persons present as a non-murderous but general pieces of shit through unrelated evidence he has gathered just to humiliate every anglo upper class twat present.
Poirot is interesting because you can actually chart it becoming terrible being revived in the 00s and all the sets go from superb to mediocre, extras becoming extremely rude overdramatic actors, the white english starts getting replaced by diversity hires who can't act and the stories become rewrites.
It was around season 7 it starts going bad and around season 10 when it gets extremely shit.
The first six seasons of Poirot is peak television though.
To all PS3 haters:
It's sad that this guy ended up killing his wife
No he didn't.
He did sleep around a lot though especially with co-stars.
Yes he fricking killed her
he just learned a lot of stuff working on Columbo that he was able to plan, execute it, and get away with it
Never loked Columbo. I mean, I never watched a full episode. Every weeken, whenever I turn on TV, it's this show.
...
Until one day when I actually switched to channel at the right time. It was an episode called 'Forgotten Lady', with Janet Leigh. Been a fan of the show after that.
>Janet Leigh
good taste my nig, one of my favorite episodes too.
Well, I oughta get out of your hair.
Oh, one more thing, Ganker. What exactly is a 'dicky'? I'm what you'd call an old 'boomer', you see, not up to scatch on all the mumbo jumbo you cool cats on the internet like to spout. Care to fill me in, sir?
7-12yo girl
It just stands for cute and funny.
See, that strikes me as kind of odd. That definition just don't add up. Cause what I saw in that folder on your desktop... Well, let me put it this way sir, it wasn't exactly comedy.
stop
But detective, I couldn't have been at the murder scene. I was at home all night playing Vice City.
Reading the comments and looking at timestamps on that video was some funny shit.
qrd
Streamer faked a livestream to give himself an alibi for when he murdered a pregnant woman.
Holy shit what the frick
>killed his pregnant wife
The frick, why?!
No clue. He seemed very upset about her for some reason and exasperatedly said something about sex, my wild guess is that she cucked him or the kid wasn't his (or he believed either of those to be the case). Either that or he's a complete psycho (possible) and that was part of his act too.
Dude pre-records a 6 hour stream, airs it during Christmas while he's off killing his pregnant wife, gets caught by police anyway due to being caught on CCTV and leaving a phone at her parents' place to eavesdrop and make sure he wasn't suspected.
During the stream itself he says some shit that in retrospect are clearly ironic and show the whole thing was very pre-determined.
I love Columbo, an amazing shiw.
