It's as if the japs are having some secret competition about which one of them can create the most unlikable looking dudebro motherfricker as a protagonist. Just look at this game or Stranger of Paradise or Scalebound or Quantum Theory. The stakes must be high.

I liked it, but it feels it would have taken off more, had they saved it for the PS4/Xbox One generation. Both it and Yakuza Dead Souls are the type of games that would have benefited from stronger hardware, with the insane amounts of stuff on screen.
