the amount of games you finish is completely unimportant, it's all a waste of time. the only thing that matters is if you are enjoying yourself, which may or may not be the case for RS players
You don't. In average it takes 4600 hours to max an account in osrs. 200 hours gor each skill. If you want it to go faster you have to spam clics for 10,20,40 or 60 hours.
It takes 1200 hours to finish a trade course, and get a certificate. 2400/2700 hours for a college degree
It takes 50 to 70 hours to learn to drive a car and 30 more to get a license.
How many hours do you have in steam games? How many games have you dumped hours of your life into?
I have a F2P character but haven't played in a while. I've done pretty much everything I can besides Dragon Slayer 1. Anything else I want to do is members only.
>got fishing to 60 >free play >use to make tons of money on just swordfish >worth nothing now >my dream of becoming a pure mage gone
That has been my longest goal forever and I simply just want to give up now
Unfortunately a lot of F2P money makers suck because any reliable ones always get destroyed by botting. If you can earn a bond then you can usually make enough money in members to keep that going, but the tough part is getting there to begin with.
But for example I was able to keep a bond going through just farming 6 patches of herbs in members a few times a day. You do whatever normal grind, then every hour you teleport around harvesting/re-planting your herbs. You can start at a super low level too, and it's not bad exp all the way to 99.
Any idea what I should do from this point on? I had an account for a pure mage and fishing.
I got a free 7 day membership on Amazon for runescape i don't mind paying for one membership sub to get started on my pure mage either.
Not sure if my pure fishing matters much on members either.
Feels like I wasted chunk of time unfortunately because everything is so undervalue on f2p.
If you're willing to buy a month of members then like I said, doing herb runs, even at lower levels like 38 for Toadflax is good. You'll need some other stats/quests completed to take full advantage of the method, but you'll want to do that anyway. It'll be stuff like unlocking more herb patches, teleport locations via diaries, or even just getting the raw capital together to buy a bottomless compost bucket for double the ultracompost. And you always want to use ultracompost because it guarantees more herbs per patch. Pure fishing on members is alright, but still not that great.
If you want to stay free to play though you can try high alching at 55 magic (Basically bot immune because people sell stuff for less than high alch prices constantly). It's also not bad exp, just very repetitive. For a more relaxed method you can also making emerald rings. People always want enchanted emerald rings, and you can do it at a pretty low crafting level for decent experience. Unfortunately every other f2p money maker that I know of is extremely slow or gives no experience. It's probably worth it to stay f2p until you get to around level 40-50 in most skills.
Trying to do the Lumbridge hard task diary for that infinite cabbage-port. I know for a fact I didn't have to do all this shit to get it back when I was a kid, but the grind is fun. I need a lot more farming levels if I want to get it though,
and farming sucks ass.
Runescape is the kind of game that saps my life whenever I play, so now I only play whenever Amazon does their free week of membership, which is currently going on. I spent this week just training and questing to complete up to the Fremennik Hard diaries to unlock the leather tanning spell. Got it and did 4k Black D'hide before getting bored. I don't know why, but I just assume it would be an AFK money method. Now I'm looking for another option to afk money make while also training.
there is an osrs general on vg
go there and stop making threads her constantly
too bad
maybe when you guys do that with the starfield threads
How can you play runescape without feeling like you're wasting your life
Protip: You can't.
I learned this the hard way.
He says, posting on Ganker
Sitting on Ganker for an hour a night is different from playing runescape retard
I work and i hate women
runescape is my only way to have fun, what else do people do in their free time?
it's no different from any other game, all a 'waste of time'
you could play and finish loads of games in the time it takes to do even medium level runescape grinds
face it runescape doesn't respect the limited time we have as humans

put me in the screencap

Play it mostly on mobile as a time killer when you can't do much else.
What is the appeal of playing this old ass game? Do you have to pay for member stuff? How is the XP grind?

My GIM buddy is burning out and I don't know if I can enjoy this game alone without a bro to grind everything with
de-iron and clan-up

As in life, as in virtual life.
Getting 99 runecrafting in a few days what should I do with the gp?
