his shit will be modded in from all of the games he composed for (including the harry potter games) and it'll fit like a glove unless Bethesda makes the entire game in the alik'r desert
People wanted more TES music but after 5 years all he did was shart out a 20 minute draft and disappear. The bitches crying rape showed up after he got cut off from bethesda
I wonder how could 00s fantasy games afford to casually have such insanely good soundtracks and then we got nothing remotely similar or good ever since
it just felt weird
sort of enjoyed exploring but I couldn't quite get into Two Worlds just felt like a really janky Oblivion clone and not in a good way
Why did Oblivion feel twice the size of Skyrim despite only being slightly larger? Oblivion is one of the only games that got the sense of scale correct, Skyrim felt like a walk backwards despite the focus on verticality.
This is simply wrong. Maybe it's because you were younger when you played. Skyrim is much better about using terrain to make travel longer and block vision. You can basically walk in a straight line anywhere in Oblivion, and see the Imperial City from half the map.
>Skyrim is much better about using terrain to make travel longer
which is why travel SUCKS in skyrim
>and block vision
which is why vistas SUCK in skyrim.
these are bad things.
>You can basically walk in a straight line anywhere in Oblivion
which means you'll rarely walk the exact same path twice. that's a good thing.
>see the Imperial City from half the map
so you can use it to orient yourself when you're in a new place, and the CENTRAL, IMPORTANT nature of the city is constantly reinforced.
Oblivion is literally the greatest game in existence.
Morrowind is a better RPG, Skyrim is better casual garbage, but the sum of its parts makes it the king that will never be beaten.
Skyrim feels smaller in scope to Oblivion. Yes the biome's are more varied but walking from Whiterun to Solitude is like 5-10 minutes max on horse. I'm pretty sure the reason that Bethesda removed Athletics and Acrobatics from Skyrim is because it would've made the world feel even smaller than it already is.
the unofficial patches for base game + expansions is all you need. there are some engine fix mods but you dont need them unless you start downloading graphics or serious gameplay mods
Kingdom Come: Deliverance is the only game to ever deliver the same feeling of pure adventure in my experience
Too bad the world is empty with literally nothing to do or discover
it's mostly empty woods though
maybe if the map had like three or four more cities and proportionally as many towns
that game needed a big city
>1/10 game gets elevated to 10/10 through soundtrack alone
Insane, I don't think it can be replicated
Too bad the guy who made the music for oblivion and skyrim is a rapist so he wont be in the next elder scrolls
>is a rapist
wtf who isn't? not being a rapist in the year of our lord 2023 is cringe
cringe post
Chuddies gonna chud
no proof of him ever doing ANYTHING wrong.
Believe all women.
his shit will be modded in from all of the games he composed for (including the harry potter games) and it'll fit like a glove unless Bethesda makes the entire game in the alik'r desert
>inon zur samey epic hollywoodshit blasting in my ears for all eternity
Chuddy lies, he got sacked for scamming his fans
>backing music
for what purpose
Fools and their money
People wanted more TES music but after 5 years all he did was shart out a 20 minute draft and disappear. The bitches crying rape showed up after he got cut off from bethesda
Cmon it's like a 6 be nice
Skyrim, ESO, and Fallout 4 have better soundtracks imo
>10/10 through soundtrack alone
>Insane, I don't think it can be replicated
Gothic 3
Shit game, godlike soundtrack
I wonder how could 00s fantasy games afford to casually have such insanely good soundtracks and then we got nothing remotely similar or good ever since
fuck
I can hear it in my soule
I was young, once.
>dime a dozen orchestrated garbage #34921341234
will never understand why so many retards love TES4 and 5 soundtracks so much, midi music is better than this same sounding gayry.
Swallow bleach chud
>trans gay with shit taste calling other people trans

Kinoblivion cannot be replicated, sorry
Two worlds
oblivion killer kino
This game was too complicated for my 13 year old tard mind to handle.
two worlds 2 is actually pretty good. I played the whole thing. the magic system is good.
it just felt weird
sort of enjoyed exploring but I couldn't quite get into Two Worlds just felt like a really janky Oblivion clone and not in a good way
The characters were uninteresting and the player didn't have much agency besides killing. It's a bad RPG.
Why did Oblivion feel twice the size of Skyrim despite only being slightly larger? Oblivion is one of the only games that got the sense of scale correct, Skyrim felt like a walk backwards despite the focus on verticality.
Half of the Oblivion map is hard to climb mountains with no points of interest.
This is simply wrong. Maybe it's because you were younger when you played. Skyrim is much better about using terrain to make travel longer and block vision. You can basically walk in a straight line anywhere in Oblivion, and see the Imperial City from half the map.

Being able to hit Q and let go is not good traversal. Skyrim got closer to Morrowind's landscaping style, only without the snail movement speed.
Peak SOULE doesn't happen twice
tell that to the second rape victim
how can there be a second if there was never a first?
Oblivion had a shitton of soul and fuck all else. The atmosphere is unmatched. The music and the world fit each other perfect.
Oblivion is literally the greatest game in existence.
Morrowind is a better RPG, Skyrim is better casual garbage, but the sum of its parts makes it the king that will never be beaten.
arise now, ye tarnished, ye dead who yet live
>only 2 good soundtracks
Witcher 3
Nope, too many ubisoft interference
this
Toussaint alone is magical and gave me that high fantasy feel no game other than Elder Scrolls has been able to produce
Well, at least it's closer than the other shit in this thread that aren't even RPGs.
World of Warcraft
>B-BUT
World of Warcraft
True but the gameplay gets old really quick
Skyrim. You're welcome.
Hello Todd
I wish, I'm broke and I never even got to meet Wonderwoman.
Imagine not growing up with Oblivion and having a nostalgic childhood connection to its OST, what a terrible fate
how many mods does this game need to be playable
the unofficial patches for base game + expansions is all you need. there are some engine fix mods but you dont need them unless you start downloading graphics or serious gameplay mods
honestly Oblivion is pure soul just the way it is
The most important thing after the patches is fixing the leveling and removing level scaling. Other than that any mods are optional.
Beyond Skyrim and Skyblivion. If they ever come out
For me it's https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jkypBTH8hQQ
Anyone else playing Daggerfall or Morrowind on and off? Daggerfall unity is really cool with good mod support.
Where does that road lead to?
it seems all roads lead to gran soren
Don't tempt me to install it.
I just know I'll find myself in the rabbit hole of modding it.
