Witcher 2 has the worst combat in the series but the tradeoff is that it has the strongest story and massive game-changing decisions. If CDPR remakes 2 after their remake of 1 to give it a good combat system it would easily be the best of the series.

thats one of the biggest issues with the games combat is how easy Death March becomes after playing the game for a very short while, game practically plays itself
They nerfed all the witcher gear sets and overhauled the ability trees to only have 3 upgrades per slot in the new update, it's slightly harder
sounds like a step in the right direction but don't know if it would be enough to completley fix it
