Typically, overwhelming offensive power solves all issues. Or some kind of cheese, like a wall of summons or whatever. In regards to these specific problems, I believe Protection from Evil (communal) makes you immune to domination effects (or allows you to reroll failed throws, or whatever) in addition to bonuses you can get to saving throws from various sources, usually buff magic. Death Ward makes you immune to level drain. Besides divine caster buff, the lich guy in act 2 drops an item that can be used to provide the effect.
Or you can play at easier difficulties, allowing you to power through even these sort of effects.

Cast grease. If you don't act before the enemy, just act before the enemy, instead. Just go first and cast grease. This is how you win all of the fights.

I absolutely loved the gradual build up, how enemies like Nabasu, Vrocks and Glabrezu are massive scary threats but by the end, your Angel is just zipping around the battlefield at machspeed, attacking 7 times a round, casting Quickened screen wide nukes and being immune to practically everything that isn't a demon lord.

>buff them up (bubble buffs mod helps a lot here, don't forget your cantrip buffs like virtue and guidance) and set them to charge the enemy
>unpause and let them charge the enemy
>as soon as all of your frontliners finish their charge swap to turn based mode
>now you'll have an entire extra turn after your charge while your enemy is still flat-footed before any of them get to act.
