would regill prefer to die of bleaching than having the world be fricked over so that he can live 100 more years?
>would regill prefer to die of bleaching
Yes
>sometimes i just throw bombs
Jubilost showing up in WOTR was a very welcome surprise. Love that little fricker, Owlcat seems to make the gnome companion the best companion every time
Its one of his first dialogues, you should pay more attention anon.
Aging is a reality and he intends to do something meaningful with the time he has left.
He would be an amazing character if his design didn't look so pants on head moronic its impossible to take him seriously. He looks like a fricking 8 year old in a halloween costume, its ridiculous
damn regill, is it even lawful to own Black folk like that
Funny how everyone's IQ drops to single digits when they're arguing with Regill
Why is Owlcat is so shit they can't portray a character as smart or competent without downplaying others?
>Funny how everyone's IQ drops to single digits when they're arguing with Regill
It never dropped, it just becomes apparent how dumb they are when faced with practicality and pragmatism. You likely never touched the game, but that conversation happens with Sosiel, who's an unrepentant moron.
>who's an unrepentant moron
Just like all followers of Shelyn.
What? That conversation happens with Anevia, it literally says so right there. And why would she advocate for muh morale when Regill literally just told you the entire army is about to get bombarded if someone doesn't take care of it? Worse still Galfrey is right there and she's on the frontlines, which fixes the morale problem, making the argument even more moronic.
This is the same Anevia that despite being good doesn't do anything against a serial killer that is killing the crusader's soldiers, because said serial killer just so happens to be one of your companions way stronger than a regular soldier.
>That conversation happens with Anevia
I was referring to the "stay weak" one, not the ain down fire from the sky, which is with Sosiel. And Anevia isn't necessarily being stupid because she's considering the troop's morale over a tactical (and possibly flawed) maneuver. Once again, she's an agent who works with people, not a battle strategist like Regill, so it's entirely within her character to voice that concern.
>possibly flawed
There is nothing flawed about it. The giants had to go.
>There is nothing flawed about it. The giants had to go.
The flaw is that the assault could fail, which would render the frontline commanderless and still have fire rain down. And that's more so her perspective than yours or mine.
You dont command shit. The queen / orc commands the troops. You run around and do all the work. Just like the last time. And the time before that.
At least you get the nicest bedroom in Drezen for your trouble.
>The queen commands the troops
And the queen takes orders from my penis.
Even Anevia is more pretty.
Queen is best girl and the only one worthy of my divine nutslop.
Eh, you can have her. I have Camelia and Areelu already.
>I have Camelia
Hard to have someone who dumps you.
She will return. She is just confused a little.
>jealous old hag that sends you and your party to hell to die because she's seething that you accomplished more in a month than she did in a century
>proceeds to destroy the entire crusade with her stupidity while you were gone
>worthy of anything but a noose
lol
lmao even
Enjoy having your taint licked by some homosexual gnome while I'm purging my way through hell just to resurface, claim godhood, and frick Galfrey into ascension as my Herald.
you will always be a simp
Butthurt gnome wienermonglers
Nah, my demon sorcerer is just on a quest to rape every female he meets.
Someome who actually gets pussy can't be a simp, at least know the definition of the buzzwords you're using
>video game pussy
lol
lmao
If video games don't count, then he can't be a simp because Galfrey is not real then
I will rape her corpse so thoroughly in my next campaign that she will be corrupted even in your timeline.
>mfw rape correcting the queen
I'd rather just kill her and be done with it.
Sorry, Galfrey is actually a ghost bound to haunt around my eternal kingdom of death
>Not what happens
>Actually the exact opposite of what happens
Associating Regil with a post this dumb should be worthy of a noose
It is exactly what happens.
I'd like the queen if her romance was actually good. You meet her in act 2, talk a few times, then don't see her again till act 3 when she attempts to (and with most paths succeeds) in stripping you of your rank, then when you talk after getting back from the abyss the game just acts like you're both deeply in love with one another but she won't be with you because of "muh duty". Shit just happens way too fast.
Aribeth was better.
You spend months marching with each other in act 2, and a lot of Galfrey's feeling are probably compounded by the whole guilt and resentment factors, especially after you still send a letter asking how she's doing, even after you were sent to the Abyss
Also I wouldn't be surprised if Storyteller pushed things behind our back, considering how hard he seems to ship you two, after finding out about things
>I would never simp.
>At your service, my king.
Is Regill the most popular character, I can't think of anyone from either game who comes close
Here? Yes. No idea about twitter / reddit / wherever else, though. I'm still trying to wrap my head around people who unironically like Nenio too.
I don't know if anyone has it but I remember a Tumblr post that was "I'm literally shaking rn frl" tier about and Daeran's and Lann's remark about Thieflings when Woljif starts pushing for Tiefling rights.
That shit was fricking hilarious
>Despite making up...
this one?
W*man moment
>people who unironically like Nenio too.
Nenio is smart, cute and funny, simple.
>Nenio is smart
debatable
>cute
no
>and funny
frick no
>debatable
Wendu herself admits it
Is Finnean the worst version of "talking weapon in a cRPG"?
No
No.
Nah, he is not intrusive, not a smartass nor with constant barks and he has clear priorities and trauma. He only lacks lines overall
lilarcor was way worse imo
The one in Deadfire was worse. Also him being able to be a +3 weapon that can become any kind of weapon you want instantly makes him better.
What was so bad about her? I never finished Deadfire and didn't use her much because my guy was using a sabre and blunderbuss and you couldn't equip her on anyone else.
I liked Modwyr. She's basically a tsundere still hung up on her former owner.
>waifu talking about past lovers
nothing changes in CRPGs
It's more like mommy issues since the previous owner was a woman who helped create them.
>Spergs out at you for using other weapons
Got a kek out of me tbh.
Does he always have the same stats or is it based off of you, I found it a bit odd that the final fight where you got him to +5 had a bunch of golems he couldn't actually hit
>wendu admits it
>arguably the biggest brainlet of all companions, rivaled only by sosiel and perhaps ember
bruh
That's not even remotely funny. It's not even her usual cringe dialog, it's just nothing. I have smirked with her dialog regarding Baphomet but that's the most I've gotten out of every single line of dialog her cringe inducing snout produced
>frick no
Frick yes
woljif is being funny here. not nenio
truly
how comes I have never seen anyone give a shit that this guy literally abandons you at the worse possible time
i mean, his reaction was sensible. He's not a soldier just some orphan with dubious morals you've picked up and thrown into the grinder. Most people would have done the same in his shoes
when has that ever stopped people from shitting on a character for doing what any sensible human being would do at the time, I mean not that I like her or anything but I see a lot of people hating on the orc girl for losing herself at the same time, but at least she didn't run away
>but at least she didn't run away
well, her running away would have been the end of her caeer, and most likely, life. She's a commanding officer, a professional soldier, so of course people treat her to a different standard than some street rat. I don't hold it against her for losing it though. but her running away would have been a hanging for sure from me
I certainly haven't forgotten that he bailed on me, but like the other anon said he's a civvy with completely different responsibilities from a soldier, let alone an officer. Also he seems to genuinely want to be a better person.
nta either but Galfrey has her hands full running an entire kingdom, and unlike the Commander she's bound by politics, by which if she does not play by an entire country is going to go under and possibly the Crusade as she's the main sponsor. She wasn't even incorrect to send the commander into the abyss, the problem is that she has no clue clue how it was running and the Commander's companions which also served as advisors went off with him. It would be a nigh Mary Sue moment if she didn't frick it up, quite honestly.
He provides the best bussy
Because he is a Tiefling and it is expected of his kind.
Wendy is my favorite because she is a bratty sub.
Nenio is a more stupid version of Sheldon Cooper.
Nenio is a joke about autistic people that actually play DnD and Pathfinder.
>unironically like Nenio too
I like her. She is a powerful min-maxed follower, and she never complains about my moral decisions. Always obeys, never runs off or act against me in any way.
I'd like Nenio if I could actually frick her.
Probably can be modded as special dialogue options for each path in her friendship study.
Nenio is moronic but the game acknowledgs she's batshit insane, and is a good girl
I think Nenio would have been insufferable if she was doing all her wacky shit and everyone just reacted with "Oh, silly Nenio!" while laughing and joking about it. Instead everyone thinks she's a fricking insane autist.
>she's a fricking insane autist
No. She is nothing.
t.Areshkagal
Nobody ever thinks anything about her because I kill her every playthrough
>game acknowledges she's batshit insane
I love how when you meet Nocticula, Nenio decides to ask her about how much sex she has or something and even Daeren can't believe how moronic she is.
from what I've seen he's fairly popular everywhere. Don't ask how I know
damn queen... taxing adults to stay young...
needs granny correction!
You can be good at do nothing to Cam can't you, sure it's an evil option but you can stay good afterwards, I guarantee if he/she killed Cam or arrested her you'd be upset that they're going over your head on a personal matter
I´ve heard this claimed, probably by you, before. Do you have any examples?
From my experience the characters are all morons while not speaking to Regill as well
It's absolutely lawful.
Fun fact: Arue's piss tastes great, but it's actually potent poison.
>My Queen
oh nonono
speak up, homosexual
Imagine letting the Queen come along on the Crusade and preventing you from committing War Crimes.
>implying
She hasn't said shit, and neither could she stop me even if she did. I already use juiced up mongrels, cyborgs, got the vescavor queen pheromone and have a nuclear bomb in my pocket.
Then try to release some bugs on the cultists cuck boy, oh wait you can't because the queen won't let you, kek.
Don't need to, I have a nuke in my pocket and an army of lobotomites and biofreaks
He's saying that to the literal queen, not the troony
I really don't get the seethe that the hellknights generate from Sosiel and Seelah
Isn't there also lawful good hellknights? How does that work seeing as how they seem to be extremely pragmatic and ruthless?
Alignment discussion will never end, but given how at least Owlcat portrays LG differs completely from the usual (D&D) LG, which is a goody two-shoes who will always try to embody valor and protect the weak. Here LG veers more towards punishing Evil first, and saving Good second or via byproduct. So it is Lawful Good to walk up to an evil outsider, who dindu nuffin (at the time), and just smite them where they stand. It would be Neutral Good to try and redeem or parlay with them, and it would be Chaotic Good to try and trick or deceive them into doing / being good.
Yes
>It would be Neutral Good to try and redeem or parlay with them
Angel has an entire path dedicated to redemption.
Yeah, because Angels are Good by default, not necessarily LG.
No, in this game Angel is LG. GD is NG and Azata is CG.
You're saying that LG go around smiting evil with no remorse in Owlcat games which is blalantly untrue, many of the LG characters in this game are huge moralgays that don't have a shoot first policy.
>You're saying that LG go around smiting evil with no remorse in Owlcat games which is blalantly untrue
It certainly is true in Kingmaker, at least. It doesn't help that the most prevalent perspective of LG comes from Seelah, of course, but LG is about smiting fools first. I'm fairly sure that in the Angel path you also get the choice of smiting as well as redeeming, yes? That's because Angels, the entities, are not JUST LG, even if its path is the LG equivalent one.
Your rank is Commander. You are the Commander. Being the Commander does not mean there is no one else above you in the chain of command.
Where exactly during the siege do you give ANY orders? And your supposition in that attacking a crucial target is flawed just because the attack can fail is moronic.
No fricking shit it can fail. Its a siege, not a picnic.
>Where exactly during the siege do you give ANY orders?
During? To your immediate troops. Before? How the Siege is going to go.
>And your supposition
Not mine. Anevia's, presumably, which is why I assume she has a problem with it in the first place. Or at the very least her priorities lie elsewhere (read: morale)
>attacking a crucial target is flawed just because the attack can fail is moronic
homie that's warfare 101. If there is a Tank in the middle of the road and you can't take it out then it's a waste of manpower and resources to send people to be slaughtered, no matter how crucial it is.
>That's because Angels, the entities, are not JUST LG
Maybe, but in this game angels are all LG and the game treats your own path like LG in the exact same way Demon gets treated like CE despite you being able to be CN
Mythic paths are clearly written with a single alignment in mind, they only let you pick other ones for gameplay's sake
Demon still can make good choices before going full psycho after returning from Abyss.
And you can keep making good choics even after picking the path in act 5. But in-game everyone treats you like a cartoon villain regardless of what you do.
Oh I'm aware, anon. Angel is the LG equivalent Mythic Path, but that doesn't change the fact that not all Angels are LG, even if the game portrays them as such.
Angel is misleading you're playing an archon type of angel which are lawful good i guess they called it angel instead of archon to be more thematic
What's an accurate alignment theory?
alignment is simply an autistic classification of morality, try to claim any one system as "accurate" and prepare for flamewar
imho planescape's slightly-aligned alignments are good enough, since those alignments literally correspond to specific gods and planes
couldn't bother to make and explanation chart, but beyond 9 classic alignments, 4 cardinal-neutral ones expanded, so now there are also CHAOTIC NEUTRAL(GOOD) and NEUTRAL GOOD(LAWFUL) for a total of 17
Planescape is basically cosmic planar gas.
This shit inspired Age of Sigmar and it literally can never be forgiven.
how?
Because the Hellknights in WotR are rather sensible. For the majority of Hellknights, just look at that c**t from Kingmaker and her stooges.
>he did not enjoy Darven's quest
Filtered.
I enjoyed the quest. I just kill her every time.
I love my mother. She is beautiful, smart and granted me power to save/rape/reanimate my enemies. I will complete her experiment, and we will live happily while Pharasma cries in the corner.
She's a shit mom who couldn't even keep her first kid safe lmao
She was in the middle of an important experiment! She is blameless!
delet this
I want to frick that mommy.
She has more hitpoints and stamina than elder dragon. She is great in bed.
That art is now offensive anon.
??
I want to make godling children with her.
>can't romance her
You got cucked by owlcat
She cares for me. It's a good start. We will have eternity for the rest.
Become Legend.
Mother's breasts are bigger, Impostor.
Is that armor meant to by asymmetrical or did the artist frick up?
>adamantine plate struggles to contain those milky juggers
muh dick
Mommy is disappointed in you.
Fricking Anevia on the table!
Making Irabeth watch!
Knocking Anevia up!
I would give my seed to both of them. These poor dykes deserve to be mothers.
Daeran should have been a femboy.
All of the NPC males should have been, other than Regill.
Lann and Sosiel should have just been girls. It would have been kino.
>Depressed tomboy archer who just wants to be able to settle down and have kids
>Virgin autistic painter girl
Lann doesn't want a family or kids.
Does he say that if you romance him, his whole quest is kind of how he wants to go out in a blaze of glory for his people so it'd make sense not having kids before that but he wants to live afterwards, and wants future mongrels to not be cursed
Only because being a mongrel he knows there a 80% chance his kid will be some fricked freak or come out in pieces like his own siblings did, and he's going to die from old age at about 30. Doing his quest right fixes both issues.
At the end of his romance you frick and he's talking about wanting to have a family with you and purposes to you.
Lann marries Wendy in the canon ending
he might as well already be one, physically at least
He is one.
He is not.
Anyone have a good portrait for a winter witch or frost kineticist?
Sorry should have specified female portrait
Here you go
Last one. Not really ice related, but it's my go to one for female casters
nta but thanks, I needed an EK pic and this is perfect
would have been great if not for the dumb floating swords
Another one
Camellia is a beautiful innocent flower made for marriage!
Nah, she's made for the noose.
Along with the mutant cannibal, the confused succubus and the incompetent queen.
dangerously based
When the Bleaching starts reversing because your Commander is insane but effective.
>Needs a mod for his good ending
Shitposting aside I'm curious what they'll do in regards to her and Arue's romance endings. Galfrey and Wenduag are fine since they stick with you, Arue for some reason is living alone despite her dream being to live with you and Cam just leaves because she can't control the murder boner.
There is like a 1% chance they'll change Arue's ending and Camellia's ending isn't getting changed
One of the things they mentioned in regards to enhanced edition was about endings.
Yeah and they'll more of them like in Kingmaker, and voice acting, but they're not rewriting anything.
>There is like a 1% chance they'll change Arue's ending
inshallah
I have FAITH
Stop having expectations post Ember.
Ending slides are the honestly such a fricking joke I'm decently convinced they were written by a guy who absolutely loathes every romance option.
And even beyond romance, they're pretty weak. As a human bean that likes text adventures in general, I have no problems with such budget epilogues, provided they are actually good.
They are not.
>a guy who absolutely loathes every romance option.
daeran's romance slides are good. especially for the aeon. Jesus Christ
>a manprostitute is so in love with you he becomes ceilbate when you die
the actual trad wife we wanted
But he doesn't? Not in the aeon ending, he ends up marrying, and having a kid, which he names after you, every other romance option does stay celibate.
i wonder why didn't they add some sort of a last goodbye with the companions and telling them what would happen when the worldwound is jannied out
She is made for my longspear. Turning her in red mush all over the basement where I found her preforming her "ritual".
What even is the DLC, I imagine it's just more boring sub-campaigns no one actually gives a shit about or is it actually something good this time
It's the same as Beneath the Stolen Lands DLC for Kingmaker, a big dungeon with lots of enemies and loot, and also a standalone roguelike dungeon for built autism
i want to lovingly abuse arue
>the year 2022
>still no Summoner class
Don't give me that bullshit "b-but it's too much work/open ended" excuse.
The mod for Kingmaker adds a limited adaptation and it's still fun as frick.
Plus what the hell at this point they have like loads of Outsider models of all sorts, evil, neutral, good.
frick off eidolon Black person, nobody likes your kind
Let him speak,
Since you get him at lvl 6 you really can't do much goofy shit. It's honestly best to just keep him as is but if you need to get goofy you could try a rogue/slayer, he dual wields so that's twice as much sneak attack and with smite chaos he gets that extra hit chance rogues would miss out on.
I just want Pugalist.
>Pugalist
Not brawler?
Sorry, yeah Brawler. For some reason I thought it was called Pugilist.
People talk shit about Seelah's voice actor but Lann easily has the worst VA in the game.
Whats a good build for Regill? wanna try him out for my second run.
All into Fighter, unironically.
Dual Wielding + at least Combat Reflexes and Outflank as far as Teamwork.
You can literally build him like the game expected to (10 hellkniga 10 armiger) and still get a ton of use out of him
Yeah
On normal
Hellknight sucks
True but that one ability to apply fear instead of shaken is pretty good and smite chaos is just more to hit and damage, it's not the best but there are way worse options.
>t. Beat the game on core with both me and regill going 10/fighter 10/hellknight
I like HK perma weapon buff
mounted sohei
Regill is a special kind of fricked up where his off hand attacks end up better than his main hand.
I made him a 2-weapon shield bashing tank. Been working really well and I don't think he ever went down in a fight in which I didn't completely frick up
Have him go full hellknight while sliding in some slayer/vivi levels here and there. Godclaw Hellknight unique ability is very good, especially on hard and unfair where you need to stack absurd levels of AC
>Make Merc
>Give them a mythic path
>Continue playing
Are the party members in Kingmaker any better? All the ones in Wrath are shit.
they're worse
The tiefling twins make my dick hard
Amaria or whatever, the barbarian, was 1 note and based because of it
The dwarf was okay if a little tedious to listen to
That’s all I remember
Kingmaker companions are more hit or miss than WotR ones. You will likely have at least 3 that you really like and at least 3 that you really fricking despise. Imo the top tier ones are, in said order:
>Jaethal
>Kanerah
>Ekundayo
>Tristian
>Valerie
let's see
Linzi - annoy goodytwo shoes bard, don't make her treasure or she will frick you up
Sad dwarf - ok, a bit of the weak side
Jahetal - based
Amiri - dumb barbarian, bit steroetypical but ok overall
Orc - silly guy loves magic can be cucked to death.
bawd half-elf - cumdumpster
Ekunniggo - great character, doesn't talk much and he's strong as hell
NokNok - strongest rouge in the game, lil guy makes everything explode
Twins - one for marrying and the other for breeding
>bawd half-elf - cumdumpster
But a reliable one in that! She alone satisfied needs of my entire kingdom.
You literally can't make Linzi treasurer. It's not an option.
Not really, it has a couple of based characters and jaethal who's entertaning. the rest are trash
So what was in the letter dying Regill sent to Commander?
a formal description of who takes over and who he the commander can confine in in the hellknight army and at the end a personal note of thanks
what path should I pick if I wanna pickup legend at the end, can I pick any of them?
I did Angel into GD on my first run, felt OP as shit dropping that storm of justice on the field
kinda want to use legend to make a really strong mystic theurge though, it sounds like the perfect build for a legend
also what build would pic related be?
You can keep unlocked feats of trickster, I think, unless they patched it.
Though story wise, demon works best
>Mystic Theurge
Hope you enjoy cycling through 15 hotbars of bullshit every fight lol
Strength Slayer Magus Legend
Demon Magus
Dunno if I can recommend it, but I'm doing a Punch Monk Orc that goes Demon into Legend later on. It's a fricking struggle because punches suck dick and apparently I'm better off building him off of dex than str
I even originally wanted to go Trad Monk but everything I read about was supplicating to not do so
>can I pick any of them?
Yes. Gameplay wise Trickster is the best one, story wise it fits best with evil paths, Lich and Demon, especially Demon
No room for manlets in my party. Sorry not sorry.
The most soulless decision in this was making the epilogue guy a literally who that has no relevance or connection to anyone instead of one of your own party
I hope the EE enhances Devil so I can play a full Hellknight route with my bro Regill
enjoy having it for 10% of the game and being forced into aeon or azata
That's why I said I hope EE enhances it.
It won't.
At most you'll get more content for Chapter 5.
>It won't.
I know, but I have to have hope.
Is there any reason for you not to be able to immediately make a pact with Mephy as soon as he arrives?
fricking LMAO. Would be worth it if so
>tfw no Trickster path option to turn Anevia back into a man
>Let's discuss best character
Will this be the thread that we discuss the elephant in the room: that being Arueshalae's elephant sized barbed wiener? Her Balor breaker? The Siege engine of Drezen? Her midnight bolt? Her adamantine plow? Daeran's mistake? Arueshalae's penis?
You mean the terror fo the Midnight Isles?
I should add that
>write that down.
Is that thing bigger than one of average balor?
They don't call it the Spire of Alushinyrra for nothing.
>Angel of Mercy
>Killed Galfrey
>Show Mercy to Mendev by removing a shit ruler
based. Did the same only I was the Angel of Vengeance. Let her die to avenge Mendev, then killed the drgaon to avenge her
>pick lawful options every single time
>EXCEPT for when that dude advocates for torturing the cultists in pulura's fall because in the pnp any form of torture LITERALLY knocks you down a shift towards evil
>get mercy
fricking hell. is there any substansial content difference beyond the title?
I level Hellknight up to 10 because I like to roleplay as a Hellknight.
Yeah me too, it's def not the best class in the game but I play on core and do fine.
Doing a signifier lich run now actually, loving it. Archmage armor is better than just wearing heavy armor sure, but you start looking at 3 spell slot feats and maybe greater enduring and you start to see the beauty in just having armor
What Mainline mythic path would each Party Member be? Translator's note: That means they can't be devil, legend, gold dragon, or swarm.
Lann
>Aeon
Regill
>Aeon
Wenduag
>Demon
Woljif
>Demon
Seelah
>Angel
Ember
>Angel
Daeran
>Trickster
Camellia
>Trickster
Arue
>Azata
Arue
>Demon
Nenio
>Demon?
Greybor
>Lich?
Greybor would be Legend
Not a choice brainlet. Also Legend isn't a real mythic path, since you give up mythic powers.
You can pick mythic abilities
Therefore it's a mythic path.
No you can't, you grab legend and lose most of your mythic abilities. It's the opposite of a mythic path.
Besides, it's not one of the main 6 either, so it's not an option for the discussion.
>most
So you admit that you keep some
Mythic path status confirmed
>it's not one of the main 6 either
Who cares? Ember fits GD like a glove and Regill would pick Devil over Aeon
Because Commander can start the game as Gold Dragon or Devil. So it isn't an option. Of the starting 6, what would they pick?
Not the main 6, not part of the discussion.
Do you have autism?
No, but you clearly do.
If I ask you "coffee or tea?" and you jump on the table screaming "Crayons! Crayons!" Then the one with the problem is you.
>Not a choice
Literally is
>Regill would pick Devil over Aeon
I don't think he would because he does consider himself to be on the side of good, despite his alignment stating otherwise. Also I don't think he'd make pacts with outsider forces, else he'd have done so already.
>Ember fits GD
Does she? Are you thinking purely on alignment here?
Kek Regill literally goes straight to hell in his ascension ending
>Regill literally goes straight to hell in his ascension ending
Your point? Are we asking which of the MP they fit the best or the ones they'd choose? I assumed the latter.
>But it's still the closest one
How so? With Angel there's the entire redemption angle as well.
>I assumed the latter
Yeah, and as I said Regill immediately goes to hell to train their armies, so which mythic do you think he would pick?
Aeon and then he signs a contract when the friendly israelite shows up.
Easy.
Anon, the prompt I gave was: which of the main six (meaning Angel Lich Demon Trickster Azata or Aeon) would they be.
You are being stubborn for no reason.
>Does she?
You're right she doesn't, because even you as a GD don't offer as much mercy as she does unless you make her lawful
But it's still the closest one
>I don't think he would because he does consider himself to be on the side of good, despite his alignment stating otherwise. Also I don't think he'd make pacts with outsider forces, else he'd have done so already.
You fundamentally don't understand the lore. Hellknights are practically devil worshipers considering they have immense respect for Devils and Asomedus (some even worship them). Regil LITERALLY chooses to go to hell and help reorganize it so that they can better fight demons in his ascension ending.
>Arue trickster
What?
That would be either Daeran or Woljif
Are you moronic? Anon, Arue is marked as an Azata, read it again.
Lann would be angel
>Lann as Aeon
Why?
>Woljif as Demon
You mean trickster
>Ember as Angel
I think it's a toss up between Angel and Azata
>Camellia as Trickster
I don't know what the frick you're smoking with this. She'd likely go Legend or Demon.
>Greybor as Lich
Do you even realize what that entails? He's likely to go Legend. Or maybe even GD for irony.
>Why?
So people would take the opportunity to contradict me rather than blindly agree.
>You mean trickster
Trickster works but I'm tying in to his demonic heritage.
>I think it's a toss up between Angel and Azata
Fair
>I don't know what the frick you're smoking with this. She'd likely go Legend or Demon.
Legend isn't an option in this discussion, even if I allowed it I'd still demand she start in one of the main 6. Also the more chaotic evil bent Trickster can fit with Camellia's personality.
>Do you even realize what that entails? He's likely to go Legend. Or maybe even GD for irony.
Because none of those are options for this thought experiment. The Commander has to start in one of the main 6, What do YOU think he'd start in then?
>Trickster works but I'm tying in to his demonic heritage.
Which he doesn't tap into unless you tell him to. It's worth separating him into 2 like for Arue.
>Legend isn't an option in this discussion
What a weird and stupid line to draw, especially when we're trying to tie characters to these paths.
> Also the more chaotic evil bent Trickster can fit with Camellia's personality.
No? Not really. She's methodical, reserved and calculating. If she's tied to the starting ones then she'd go Angel to fool people or Demon because she can't fight her urges.
>What do YOU think he'd start in then?
Certainly not fricking Lich, are you crazy? Going Lich would mean he'd kill his entire family and then become a dickless undead. Given those choices I don't see why he wouldn't go Angel just because he can keep his mental faculties, if not Aeon just so he can see people's crime smell. He'd unlikely commit to either of them until the end.
>What a weird and stupid line to draw, especially when we're trying to tie characters to these paths.
Because literally any of them could be legend, legend is just them but level 40. I'm focusing on what Mythic creature they'd become based on their impulses. The added restriction of one of the first 6 is because that's the same restriction the commander would have at Drezen.
It's basically a way to analyze the characters. It's a brain game. That's why I didn't want there to be an easy or obvious fit (would Regill go Angel or would his Lawtism push him into Aeon, even if it would put him at odds with his own Order?)
>Because literally any of them could be legend, legend is just them but level 40
Anon the choice to reject the Mythic power is indicative of their character and very relevant to some of them.
trickster
Which one would reject the mythic power at Drezen?
Tell me which character was like "man this mythic power shit is bad shit" before that point?
None, exactly, because they didn't know they were using demon juice and had the soul of a shitheel grafted on to them.
>"man this mythic power shit is bad shit" before that point?
That's not my point, Black person. I'm saying that rejecting it LATER ON is indicative of character, not early. I still have to understand why does it have to be those specifically and not all the ones available to them.
Sure by all means let them reject it later on, now what were they before they did so?
Because it's more interesting this way. We all know Regill would go Devil, because he already does in his ending. However would he go Azata > Devil or Aeon > Devil.
Obviously Aeon.
Regill's an easy one, Greybor is harder. One, he almost always pushes you not to give up the power, but anons are stubborn about him going legend for some reason. Fine, what path would he start out as? Since he'd recruited after Drezen, we don't know his opinions on your path choices. It becomes an interesting point of discussion.
He's too serious for Trickster
Demon isn't a good fit either
I agree Lich doesn't work
No way he'd be an Angel.
Therefore in my mind only one thing fits:
He'd be a Renegade Aeon (True Neutral)
>He's too selfish to be impartial
>He's criminal but has a code of honor (neither chaotic nor lawful)
So I see him being a failed Aeon, then going legend to reject the Aeon's influence on his mind. It's an interesting character journey for him.
>No way he'd be an Angel.
And why is that? By simple process of elimination he'd could end up one. It is the power with the least amount of (apparent) strings attached and he'd use it to his advantage.
You're making the same mistakes as other anons and just assuming that because alignments match that's what they'd pick. For example I am dead fricking set that Camellia would be flip flopping between Angel and Demon and which one she chooses would hinge on whether or not she overcomes her urge for the sake of subterfuge.
Before he is a criminal, impartial or selfish he is a professional. And with that mindset he would pick what would professionally benefit him most. The only reason he'd go Aeon is to see other people's criminal aura, which he'd have no way of knowing beforehand, which would rule it out, since he personally doesn't give a shit about laws of the cosmos or any sort of plane balance.
>And why is that? By simple process of elimination he'd could end up one. It is the power with the least amount of (apparent) strings attached and he'd use it to his advantage.
I would assume that the trappings of an Angel would itself be the strings he's wish to avoid. The reason I would suggest Aeon is because (how it is originally presented) it would be something familiar for him. The Aeon (as it would turn out, himself) would give him assassination targets, targets that are causing the chaos/disruption the Monad wishes to fix. Him talking to the Aeon in the mirror would almost be as if he were communicating with a contact. However as he began to feel the changes in his personality, he would begin to resist, culminating in Iomadae's reveal and him divesting himself of mythic power.
>For example I am dead fricking set that Camellia would be flip flopping between Angel and Demon and which one she chooses would hinge on whether or not she overcomes her urge for the sake of subterfuge.
I still maintain that the Fae nature of the Trickster fits her. She'd lean more on the more sociopathic options you can take as trickster as opposed the the lol so randumb ones. Openly she would act as herself, perhaps more playful, all the while she'd be as cruel as the Lantern King. After all, she enjoys surprising people.
>legend is just them but level 40
So? Arueshalae would instantly become an azata if it meant getting rid of her demonic urges, Lann would instantly become an angel not only because he creams himself over them but also to get rid of his mongrel aids that will inevitably kill him
But other people like Greybor would most likely prefer to stay the way they are, so they would pick legend
So why am I forced to go Angel instead of staying Mythic hero?
Because if it was that easy there would be no game since Areelu would come in and kill you
I don't think Lann is autistic enough for Aeon, more a very lawful Angel.
>spoiler
Why?
The way they explained it later in the thread is they are wondering what they would pick in Drezen.
I need some Magus portraits (Eldritch Scion) bros

here's a magus archer because frick you
Guys you are both autistic in your own way relax. It is fine.
shut up Black person
While a definite improvement over Kingmaker's characters (admittedly not a high bar) the character writing still leaves a lot to be desired. Putting aside the lack of new dialogue after major quests not specifically related to the companions (which makes them look like puppets whose masters went to take a piss break when you spend 15 minutes running around the camp after the gargoyle attack talking to everyone only to see the same old dialogue each time) it really does feel like Owlcat's writers have a grudge against the game's female characters in particular for some reason.
The male characters? Good, great, sometimes even fantastic. Regill, Daeran, Woljif and Lann have some great writing, chemistry and banter with each other. Greybor is quite alright for a tired old trope and even Sosiel has his moments despite being being generally quite bland. The female characters, however?
Wendu is one of the most egregious examples of moronic Evil (d)evolving into Pathetic Evil I've recently seen. I would say she acts like an animal but even animals have instincts preventing them from rushing head first into death. She's a bundle of betrayal wrapped into a package of weakness and idiocy I would expect from a moustache-twirling sidevillain on a particularly uninspired tabletop game session.
Nenio. You know the saying - a joke often repeated ceases to be funny. In Nenio's case, her gimmick was never funny in the first place. She's an extremely annoying and abrasive randumb archetype of "funny autism lol". She's the uninterested player at your table that was looking at her phone for the last 4 hours, awakened from her electronics-induced pseudoslumber by a boss battle only to spout an unfunny quip (instantly taking away from the gravitas of the situation) and go back to staring at the screen. Also a proud owner of the worst companion quest in the game.
Camellia, Slightly Less moronic But More Evil, character so one-note and evil that even evil Commanders would be better off decapitating her in Act 3. It really does speak volumes about the incompetence of the crusaders - seeing as she has the subtlety of a brick being thrown through a fricking window you'd think she would have been discovered a long time ago. She is the That Guy of the party.
Galfrey the Incompetent - thankfully, she has the Sun Orchid Elixir so that not even the shackles of mortality can stop her from being a failure. Gives you shit even if you're an Angel with a perfect track record. Throws her best asset onto what's pretty much a one-way suicide charge into not-Hell. Proceeds to inevitably frick up everything you've worked on. Farewell, my Marksmen doomstack, you beautiful bastards could solo the whole Worldwound on Unfair but the Benevolent Queen would still find a way to lose you on Story.
Ember is much more serviceable than the previous examples, still a victim of poor writing on her companion quest. I guess Arue should have just tried to "be good and kind lmao it'll all work out lol". Her attempts at persuasion and conversion are embarassingly simple and disjointed, only succeeding at evoking feelings of incredulity when playing through her quests.
Arue - while her arc is all fine and dandy her actual personality is quite one-note, inoffensive and sterile. If she wasn't a qt succubus she would be considered Sosiel-tier.
Seelah is fine, she's pretty good. A Paladin who isn't a complete c**t for some reason, absolutely groundbreaking - and I'm speaking without a hint of irony.
Final verdict - 10/10 because Linzi isn't in this game. Seriously though, the writing went from me wanting to kill half of the party in Kingmaker to wanting to kill only 3 companions in WotR (and you can kill 2 of them so again, good job).
which class would pic related be?
Slayer.
I can kind of see it. Especially with the armor being black which could be an allusion to pseudo-stealthiness.
I half understand what you mean because sword saint implies devotion to one weapon (which isn't true for the samurai but lets pretend it is), but where would the arcane spellcasting come from?
How does Aldori Defender translate into Samurais?
>12 wis
>14 cha
what
>How does Aldori Defender translate into Samurais?
It's the closest you get to weaboo fighting style.
>what
I'm not here to minmax you, I'm giving you a 10,000% owlcat approved build. Anyway, your character looks a little green, so you better make his race half orc.
>It's the closest you get to weaboo fighting style.
I suppose fancy fencing is the closest to weeb katana I can get
>I'm not here to minmax you
If that were my concern I'd just dip into Vivi. I'm asking because it seems pretty arbitrary to pump up cha to 14. Wis I can see because Samurais were expected to partake in philosophy, but the cha bewildered me.
Also when I originally saved that picture I always thought it was a half orc, but it could just as well be a Dhampir.
Samurai were minor nobility weren't they? Basically a knight maybe higher? Also Swordlord skills need some charisma to work.
Nobility in the sense that they were retainers of a daimyo (lord) and were expected to fight for them. Yeah, they are quite literally just weeb knights. I'd say that would discourage them from having <10 cha but a whopping 14? Idk about that.
>Also Swordlord skills need some charisma to work.
Does it now? Will look into it then

You literally don't need any STR as a Dueling Sword martial, especially if you're starting as a fricking Aldori Defender. That's 3 feats at level 1: Weapon Finesse -> Weapon Focus Dueling Sword -> Slashing Grace: Dueling Sword
pic related is what a good dueling sword martial looks like
Don't you not need Slashing Grace if you are going Swordlord?
You won't be able to become a Swordlord until around level 5 or 6. In both Kingmaker and WOTR that's almost 10 hours into the game. 10 hours where your martial would essentially be doing no damage because they're still using strength for the purpose of calculating their damage.
It makes far more sense to grab it ASAP at level 1, so that your build will immediately come online from the very first fight in the game.
I suppose it is only 1 feat, but I would just hold off and get some other must have feats instead. Might be weaker early game but it isn't like there is a lack of good feats to take as a Swordlord.
>Might be weaker early game
Anon, you'll be doing no damage for the first 10 hours of the game. Saving a feat literally isn't worth it, especially if you're starting as a fighter who's going to be swimming in feats anyway.
>grab the feat
>respec later
Frick feat taxes or being useless for 10 hours
He asked for a samurai not minmaxed Aldori #7653656
I gave him what he ordered. I'm sorry that you're moronic.
this is a tabletop module made by avellone
The Puzzlebox, runs from level 8 to 10.
Have they still not released the kingmaker anniversary book?
To all of you b***hes whining about portraits: just download this mod and stop shiting up the thread https://www.nexusmods.com/pathfinderkingmaker/mods/92?tab=files
I beat the game for the first time today and holy frick I hate Galfrey
>fricks everything up
>rescue her from her latest frick up
>she tries to apologize for her frick ups and asks for forgiveness
>I call her a useless moron who shouldn't be queen because there's currently a camp of soldiers being eaten alive because she's so fricking useless and moronic
>immediately adopts the most b***hy tone imaginable as if I dare have the nerve to say that after everything
the c**t is lucky I didn't want to kill Irabeth and a bunch of other crusaders in the process of shanking her right then and there
It’s always amazing to me seeing people sperg out about Galfrey or Iomedae. It’s like the second someone ever doesn’t suck theirs player’s wiener they can’t handle it and just go crazy.
Doubly so for Galfrey because she outright becomes your most ardent champion if you’re not a moron or a sperglord.
Iomedae is fine and makes good points. I don't have anything against her. Galfrey is liteally a seething incompetent moron that goes "WHAT ABOUT ME REEEEEEEEEEEE" when Hand says that you're the crusade's only hope
it's always amazing seeing white knights sperg out over someone not sucking m'lady's wiener
AWOL is definitely defined as being forced into a seemingly one way mission into a distorted realm filled with powerful evil beings who rape and torture for fun
>Goes AWoL for SIX MONTHS
>This is somehow Galfrey’s fault
lol, lmao
How can you reach max levels for your crusade? Played it twice and I never could get it to max.
you need to do the event quests that pop up to continue the ranks in act 5, if you did them and simply don't have enough points:
>army
increase the size of your army
>diplomacy
spend cash for resources
>the resources or what its called
get more buildings in your forts
This
Also, as a last resort, you can skip a bunch and do events that give crusade xp. I think the most annoying to max out is leadership because rewards are inconsistent.
i like how the annoying autistic foxgirl has the hands down most annoying and autistic companion quest, fits like a fricking glove
but to be fair, i'm glad all of her bullshit makes for some nice lategame content, especially if you slap on extra enemies/behaviours so you can test your bullshit op mythic powers against bullshit op demons
Enigma is almost completely optional (unless you need more purple juice for later) and quite easy apart from puzzles.
it's not a creative design decision or something, the dungeon you're reffering to was already made when one of the companion writers realised he has no time to flesh out nenio and just gave her a boring no gameplay mini quest some reddit humor and a link to an already existing dungeon
I'm gonna do a Defender of the true world caster druid run for Kingmaker. How bad of a time am I gonna have?
Kino class for Kingmaker. It will be fine.
Not very. Free spell pen and immunities when it comes to fey. Good bonuses even if you never attack them
It's a class that specializes in killing fey in a campaign where fey are the main enemy
You'll live
>pet
>full caster
>bonus vs f*y
literall cannot frick it up
Borderline the canonical class for it. And since you get no Druid companion you won't be redundant.
What’s the demon mythic path like
bad
Ciar not like you
Niether Seelah
Aru is worry
Regill lost trust in you
And you can summon vrock (not know is vrock is romanceable)
nocti cum janny
Nocti has dick?
a forced stealth section
some fun EMBRACE YOUR RAGE options, especially in abyss
meh act 5 flavour
demonic charge (at-will move action teleport with damage) is the single feature that sells it mechanically, unless you want to frick around with natural weapons
>a forced stealth section
Huh?!
Cow mommy steals you and rapes you. But you are a bad boy and some bawd helps you to go home.
Ragetard
How many people actually turn on you as a Demon? I'm aware you can kill Sosiel, Seelah, Anevia/Irabeth and Galfrey, but surely Regill doesn't trust you right?
If you act like an actual demon would act chances are he'll end up dead alongside every Hellknight
Can I kill my companions in this game, or just refuse to have them stick around, like in DAO? I'd like to just get rid of all the ones I don't like.
Yes.
yes, you can even eat all of them.
>put over 200+ hours into both pathfinder games (nearly 300 for wrath)
>finished neither
>still think they are two of the best CRPG's of all time
i really oughta finish them
>Play Angel
>Be a huge LG jerk, smite everyone who is even slightly neutral, talk shit to everyone, take no excuses from anyone, purge first ask questions later, straight up murder over half of all possible companions for being the wrong alignment/skin color
>Everyone loves me, Nocticula shits herself in fear when I flex in sight of her, Iomadae kneels to me
Angels just can't lose in this game.
>skin color
S-So ebin...
What's wrong with her skin color?
Read the post he was replying to moron.
>can't redeem Nocticula if I ascend
Would've loved to play a demon into GD redemptionkino and redeem her with me.
>redemptionkino
such thing is possible but not in this game, since here all it boils down to is "well, i'm really sorry and kinda feel bad about what I did, can we be friends now?"
Frick off with that shit, it's smiting time
She redeems herself anyway. The entire redemption part is a reference to the current lore of how she ascends herself and becomes a god of redemption.
Cute nocticula
>Can become her Dominic consort
>Can't redeem yourself with her and become her god husband of redeemers
So close to perfection
She looks like she has sex with humans, such as myself.
>She looks like
The entire Abyss, maybe Elysium as well.
>spend thousands of years committing atrocities
>nevermind I'm good now
Who wrote this trash?
Sinners, obviously. Just like they wrote all of Christianity.
She's Chaotic Neutral when she ascends.
b-b-b-but muh redemption?
same people who will crucify you for saying 'Black person' once 20 years ago
>using 2E instead of 1E
homosexualry.
Mephi is kicking my ass, what the frick are all those summons?
Fodder
Since everyone is requesting portraits, is there a decent one for halfling (or even gnome) riding or standing near a leopard? I couldn't find any.
>halfling
>standing near a leopard
You just know.
Daeran best girl
What path should I go if I want to go legend later anyways?
Demon to make areelu and nocticula seethe
Is my saved fricked or something? I finished Ivory sanctum and Im supposed to get a cutscene for this quest right? I've been skipping days and going into drezen and nothing is happening.
did you speak with the Hand in Drezen?
I did. Turns out yeah it was fricked because I did Areelus lab way before the sanctum so the trigger for the key was out of wack. I had to use toybox to forcefully get the next step
I want to play bastard sword gendarme since I'm not a fan of spears. Are there many good bastard swords in this game? I remember one in Regil's recruitment mission and that's it.
There are a couple of good ones. Check up the ones there are but one has living bane and uses a d20 damage die. With Gendarme multipliers it becomes insane.
Is there a class with a feat that gives 1.5 dex to dmg? I remember seeing one but can't find it anymore
Aldori swordlord.
Is it deft strike the wiki isn't very clear or I'm missing something
I finished aldori defender/sword lord/duelist campaign only recently and absolutely sure that deft strike gave 1.5 DEX.
Do you mean Piranha Strike? It's just a feat that needs Weapon Finesse, no class gets it for free.
Deft Strike is dex for damage with the dueling sword, it doesn't give x1.5
Don't think so, I was researching some build and I remember the 1.5 stuff being mentioned as a dip
Well good luck finding it, because it doesn't exist
I'm a bit sad there are no unique items for character that you can kill
>kill Hulrun - nothing
>kill Targona - nothing
>kill Horgus - nothing
>kill Kaylessa - nothing
Come on, at least give me some compensation for being Evil murderer..
About to play for the first time coming straight out of a BG1 and BG2 playthrough. Any tips on things to avoid or do, mechanically speaking?
avoid being a waifutard. other than that - no
dont look up anything unless you are completely stuck.
i hope you know 3rd edition
Regill stays winning, Nenios assistants btfo
Regill canonically dies
Not in my timeline
>being a space-time janny
And I wouldn't have it any other way
Azata chads ww@?
They're busy having gay sex.
Praise Desna
How would you distribute Nenio's product if you were to butcher her? Personally, I would give her false skin to Arueshelae, so that she can enjoy the new disguise. I would give the fur to Camelia, so that she could have a nice rug to sleep and murder on. I would give the flesh to Wenduag, so that she could feast to her heart's content. And I would give the bones to Ember, so that she could make new little toys to play with.
Hehehe... I'm Evil...
>Paladinbro has gone completely schizo now that it's clear his class is inferior to Oracle and Cleric for Angel path
Sad, but many such cases.
It was always clear? Like it was always clear angel oracle is inferior to demon dc caster
Paladinbros are literal noobs. Only a fricking nooblet would ever enter a game of pathfinder and think
>I'll just play the Main Character class from World of Warcraft and Deus Vult my way through Hell!
>I'm the protagonist!
In the real world, there are no protagonists. Only gamers. Based and redpilled.
How did I sleep on cavalier for so long? This class is fun
Horse-riding is a girl's hobby. Even the medieval era ended when it became obvious to the warriors that fighting dismounted was manlier than riding around on a horse, which is a woman's past-time. There's a movie about it called "The Last Duel".
You sound gay
I avoided it because every patch bugged charge in new ways, is it fine now?
It was so horribly broken at launch that I still haven't tried it. Might do it when EE comes out.
What class fits Azata the most?
Skald
Guys, i'm playing it right now. I'm only at chapter I but I feel dread.
I'm trying to go sorcerer evil/chaotic lich playthrough and I'm having loads of fun but I worry about doing the wrong choice or whatever.
Can I ruin my playthrough if said character dies, if I do an angel choice here and there? I'd really like to go full blind but I hate missables in most games if you know what I mean.
Should I just do whatever (as long as it is chaotic/evil) and roll with it?
Thanks for listening to my Ted Talk
After the vescavor section don't leave the map until exploring a cave next to the boss. The rest is obvious
Thanks
Let's fricking go for the end of chap 1 then
Make sure you explore the cave after the vescavor queen for the scepter and then in the chapel later on the wall will disappear and reveal a hidden passageway. Make sure you go down there. Everything after that you can't miss.
I tricked him so hard that he'll live for centuries
Couldn't let based Reggie die of boredom. He practically forced me to be a chaotic shitheel who pranked the universe.
>player deserts the crusade for half a year
>Anons play Galfrey for their desertion
Imagine getting filtered by best girl.
imagine lying on the internet
Cope harder traitor. You were told to go to the abyss, not live there for 6 months.
>You weren't 'told'
>You were 'forced' to go there and figure things out.
>Act surpised when it took more than a weekend to do it.
t. Captain Harmattan
Did they change anything about the game's mythic progression in the last 6 months?
What's Ganker's favorite class or class combo? There are so many this tim around. Kingmaker seemed to push you towards playing a tanky melee character, anything similar in Wrath?
take literally any divine caster + angel mythic path and the entire game is a cakewalk, with oracle + angel being one of the most broken combinations in the game
The annoying thing about oracle angel is just how insanely comfy and feature-rich it feels
It blows almost every other combo other than lich/caster and wachy legend builds out of water.
It's also incredibly flavourful. A nature oracle using scythes and accompanied by some tamed beast is already a cool concept, now throw angel stuff on top of it and give him wide sweep to auto-cleave when he's under a myriad of personal buffs.
Stop it! Stop it you will make the paladins CRY stoooooop!!!
>Irabeth rats her own informant out to someone who is still a relative stranger to her
>it ends up getting them killed
Imagine working for this worthless b***h
Who?
Is trickster worth playing? What kind of content does it have?
Trickster bounces back and forth between very based and very cringe, but it doesn't have alot of content. However, it is an extremely powerful mythic path if your build meshes well with it.
fricking socothbenoth on the corpse of his sister while your whole party watches on is not cringe
yes I said it bounces back and forth
Best path for Cavalier?
A straight line
order of the star. this includes your mount
>this includes your mount
nta but I wish I'd known this before I made my Gendarme. I picked order of the lion.
I think he meant in terms of mythic paths
Iirc sword let's you add your mount str bonus to charge
what's the most fun mounted class?
Gendarme
I took a break since release and my save is currently at the steanpunk location. How fricked am I with DLC and all?
Alright Armag,
LET'S DANCE!
I'm about to get fricking destroyed
blessed party portraits
Yep, I got wrecked.
Tips on how to not get hit for 40 damage per hit three hits in a row without using CC on this guy?
Have a divine and an arcane caster in the party. Preferably buffing.
>Magic
>In an HONEST BATTLE
I don't agree.
>enemy is wielding a magical super sword that lets him cast spells
>honest fight
He, like almost all enemies, is buffed to hell with things that shouldn't even be available to him. They are all balanced around that so they come with the usual combo buffs to make them challenging.
trip/disarm/etc
preferably with teamwork feats
Good catch, beat him with tandem trip and Coordinated Maneuvers. And people here laughed at me for team feats as my starting feats.
They are still bad early choices.
wrong, it's great early game pick
later in the game shit has insane CMD
IIRC he picked them at first level, probably on principle.
Is he cool? His defense doesn't seem very high
What are the best holy sword traits to take?
I carved my own path, you followed your wrath
But maybe we're both the same
The world has turned,
So many have burned
But nobody is to blame
Yet staring across this barren, wasted land
I feel new life will be born beneath the blood-stained sand
So why did Christian transform into Punished Christian? Barring the useless ballista specialization that puts him forever on the bench?
Tristian betrayed him and when he took the Vordemort's eye, a stray curse effect struck Christian.
That is why Christian said "You fricked up my face" before executing Tristian for betraying him, lying to him, and using him. It was a reference to Christian losing his eye to the curse cast by Tristian.
>Barring the useless ballista specialization that puts him forever on the bench?
He's the cutest male knight in Earthia. I always use him in my Restoration of Erathia campaign because he's the default hero given to you
SEX WITH DAERAN
>Unlike most romances, Daeran is the one that actively comes onto you
>Some people are so blind to this that they don't shoot him down and are later surprised when he fricks them in the ass
Still hilarious
The weird part for me was that the only romantic thing I apparently said was commenting when he talks about Staunton and Minagho. I didn't talk to him much after so I was a bit surprised to find my council room full of flowers.
I do like he takes it in stride then though and leaves the flowers just because Irabeth is malding over them.
>play male MC
>Lann is based and a bro
>play female MC
>mfw Lann
should've picked Wenduag. unironically.
Lann as female is peak incel kino
>Call him a friend
>He wants to frick you and the best date he can think off is training where he beats your ass
Even Seelah had a camp banter after where she thinks he's a moron for thinking that was a good idea.
>>He wants to frick you and the best date he can think off is training where he beats your ass
Well, Daeran probably told him that he should take commander to pound town and he took it literally
>tell him to frick off when he comes into the tent in act 2
>he never tries anything again.
Its that easy. Same with Daeran at the beginning of act 2. How do you morons keep getting into romances by accident?
Roleplaying as girl makes the penis into the inverted penis.
To be fair to them, for some strange reason with Daeran and Lann, their romances start from simply friendly or supporting lines and the only options are usually to either keep being friendly which advances the romance or to violently shout you'll never sleep with them cause they are gross to break it with no middle ground.
Yeah, sounds about right for women in 2000+20+2.
That's how it works IRL as well
keep trying unless explicitly told to frick off
Lann romance is cringe kino. Someone should do the lou2 punch meme
accurate
>lou2 punch meme
what is this
i'm unaware
>i'm unaware
Have you been living under the rock for the past two years?
kinda
I don't follow things that don't interest me, console games being one of them
ty for the aasimar portrait anon
doesn't look like an aasimar, but ok
still better than most portraits I've seen
Last of Us 2 was just a shit Sony exclusive that got memed on hard because the story was dogshit and got leaked shortly before release. People just started making edits of scenes in the game.
>when he fricks them in the ass
>implying I'm not the one doing the fricking
Daeran is a catcher, yes even with women
More based manlet then Regill
>*hits pipe*
Commander. You know that I respect you. I respect Regill as well, but he is still a gnome. If you knew what I knew about gnomes, you would keep a far closer eye on him. Despite his profused self-control, he is a gnome at the end of the day.
Take this last job I had from a gnome as an example. A gnome that was on the verge of dying from Bleaching asked me to capture for him a half-orc woman. Something about her being a runaway apprentice that was stealing his secrets.
>*hits pipe*
Turns out the client was lying to me. The half-orc? Didn't know him. The gnome? He didn't know her either. He just saw her in the marketplace and decided that she would be the ultimate cure to his Bleaching. All it involved was a potion of enlarge person for her, a potion of reduce person for him, and a technique that the gnome called "unbirthing."
>*hits pipe*
Gnomes are fricked up, Commander. I would keep an eye on Regill, in case he decides to buy any potions for himself. Anyway, you thirsty? Drinks are on me.
posts like this makes me regret having autistic superpower of replicating voice and speech patterns in my head
my autistic power is that I can look at any object and immediately know exactly what it would feel like if I licked it.
I had demo version of that power when I tried shrooms once
getting rid of the feeling of turkish carpet on my gums was the worst
>play grenadier
>get fast bombs + dispelling/holy/force
>mfw
There is no God but Erastil and I'm his prophet
btw it sucks that Kingmaker had such great itemization for grenadier but in wotr you get jackshit
you can fix itemization issue by adding items with toybox
this shit rubs me the wrong way as well but oh well what can you do
I wish there were mods that add more items and/or randomize their location
I don't understand why aren't the items simply available in shops. It's not like they have to design or program them from the scratch, they were literally in the previous game
I'm going to romance Daeran as an Aeon. Is it kino?
Daeran romance is always kino
I was looking at Neoseekers unique weapons list and it lists off a bunch but the location just says "Kingmaker" instead of "you find it in this act at this location". What gives?
I think you can get those items as Trickster but I don't exactly remember how.
>Open unique items list
>Ctrl + F
>"Kingmaker
>528 results
Why would you lock so much shit behind one mythic?
Sounds like a shit guide, just use the wiki.
What wiki, the fextralife one? That's usually worse.
I'm a dummy and thought you were talking about Kingmaker, not Wrath, my bad.
I think it's this but I never actually used it
>he doesn't worship Erastil, Torag or Abadar
Explain yourself
>worshipping a bunch of homosexuals that achieved divinity (before me)
gay and cringe
t. enlightened atheist
Being atheist in a setting where God's are without question real seems so weird to me.
read homie
What do the atheist options even do? Like the goddess comes down and you're just like "Hey, what's up?"
yeah. you just don't care about the gods or about following them
depends on the character I guess
king comes down from his throne you don't "hey, what's up?" him just because you don't believe monarchy is a good ruling system worthy of respect
but in case of my particular character - yes
he would MAYBE shake some god's hands, like Iomadae or Irori, but would remain completely indifferent otherwise
That's because instead of "I don't believe in you" it's "I don't think you deserve my worship". Like Ember doesn't dispute the gods aren't real, she just thinks they're dicks.
Atheists canonically get their souls destroyed when they die.
Just like in real life.
why do you lie when I have game open and one screenshot away from getting you btfo?
The Inheritor Protects, heretic.
This game won't let me just say no, will it?
>He doesn't want to be King
>Despite playing a gam literally called KINGmaker.
BASED, VASSALBRO!
>Play a game that's advertised as "you become a king"
>wtf I don't want to be a king
homie...
>LG, N, LG
These answers are kinda weak, but it's the best I can do. I wanted to say "Death to dissent" last but it's apparently CE for some reason.
Any good games where I can redeem evil characters?
Mask of the Betrayer
How do I build Regill
