Because the components I listed are some i used in a new build for a friend and he wanted to play Warhammer 3 and Darktide, and both are fine.
Hell let loose, arma shits itself with 20fps in custom battles and lots of npc's, metro last light with all the settings tuned up,etc.
Well I haven't played any of those actually so I wouldn't know. But Darktide, a game with already high requirements and one that was made by incompetent Devs, running fine is a decent enough benchmark for hardware in my book
I've just compared the two set ups and despite being more expensive, it actually scored lower than the cheaper one.
The Ryzen 5/6700 scored like a 9 something/1000, whereas the other setup only scored 600 something

Consoles don't even run most games in 4K. Even my S95b can only do so much if the rendering resolution is shit, at least my PC can do native 4K120 on a lot of games.
I have an s95b too and the console games I play look amazing. HDR, Dolby vision, etc. are all best and come preconfigured on console.
I recognize native 4k 120 is best but be realistic, not many titles outside of indie games can run well at that res.

Only AAA games push hardware limits to extremes beyond what my current rig can handle, but thankfully AAA hasn't released much of anything I even want to play. I've bought only 2 AAA titles in the last 5 years. I buy AA or indie games every year though. Weirdly they somehow manage to make fun games without requiring me to buy a 4080.

I don’t care what other people play on, but for me personally;
I like the convenience of a console, playing on a TV, and buying games physically. Playing in the livingroom where my TV and consoles are work great for splitscreen gaming as well, since there is obviously more space than there would be in a bedroom/office.
I have a pc tower with pretty good specs, but after 6+ years of pc and consoles at the same time, console is just where I like to play. Pc is great for emulation ofc.
