Yes obviously. Why else would people buy the Switch for anything other than Nintendie first party games? If you remove the exclusivity then all you have is an underpowered tablet with motion controls.
Yes because Nintendo doesn't take a loss on hardware unlike Sony and Microsoft. Nintendo makes bank on both consoles and especially peripherals that have ridiculous margins, avoids having to pay the Steam/estore tax by having its own infrastructure and its exclusives are a vehicle for marketing its hardware. Without exclusives I doubt most people would bother with Nintendo hardware.
Console wars are moronic child shit though, a Switch costs maybe one day's work for an adult with a real job in the first world. A game is like an hour or two of work. Emulation is great but not for the piracy aspect, but for the ability to mod the game or potentially run it better than original hardware in some cases.
>port over a game
You don't "port" games, emulators are software that pretend to be a piece of hardware. If all the functionality the game uses is implemented in the emulator then it will work day 1. Hence why everything except cutscenes already worked in Yuzu/Ryujinx when Dread leaked.
No, and its not necessary either. Downloading shaders mean (ideally) that your emulator doesn't need to cache each new shader it comes across, causing a stutter. Its only relatively recently that the caches are transferable and universal (ie not specific to your GPU etc) for some of the Switch emulators. SO basically they save you from having to have that momentary stutter/freeze when there's a new shader being cached. Its important to note that this is a one time deal so lots of emus have it so that players play through an area the first time and are aware of the stutter with all the new shaders to be cached but the next time they go through it will be smooth. These days Yuzu and Cemu (maybe Ryujinx, not sure on the particulars over ther ) have async shader compilation which fixes the issue to begin with, and if you set it to use Vulkan shaders cache MUCH more quickly and with less stutter than even the best OpenGL settings. But yeah, its still a nice option to import a pre-compiled shader cache though, if its available
Just of note if you're new to pirating/emulating just install qBitorrent and use the search feature built in. Search for Sword and Shield and it'll come with the Yuzu emulator along with the game. It's the easiest shit to do trust me.
>random repackaged version
Just download the fittroony version then if you need a name attached to your releases. Just download the one with the most seeders if you're not sure.
You need to have CFW on your Switch, but if you do you can use something like Edizon or whatever the frick its called tht allows you to move saves around and export them etc. There are other utils too (Goldleaf Ithink can do it?) that can move saves around. Once you get it off your Switch its easy, as you can just drop it in the folder for Yuzu/Ryujinx
It's kind of amazing how well Switch emulation is considering how dogshit 3ds emulation still is despite it having a way better library.
The Citra gays just focused on Pokemon and dropped the project after they got Pokemon working.
broken on my mesa arch linux install rn. latest dev version. probably a amd thing, not a yuzu thing.
Why do you consciously make the decision to make your life harder by using linux?
not really, the switch sucks and the only thing it has to do is play mario kart online for 15 minutes.
Would Nintendo REALLY lose any money if they just put it out on PC?
>Would Nintendo REALLY lose any money if they just put it out on PC?
Yes
How? A sale is a sale
Nintendorks would mass suicide
so? They are not humans
>Nintendorks would mass suicide
No I won't. It would be shame because I don't do digital distribution anymore.
>How? A sale is a sale
How would they do their ecosystem trap on an open platform?
Are you that frickin dumb?

>people make $400 a day
grow up
>he doesn't have a six figure income
get a real job.
>expecting people who gets 1 console every 10 years because mommy doesn't buy them more to use common sense
dont even try
newbie to Switch emulation but how long does it take someone to port over a game from release? I want to try out Pokemon DPP remakes next month.

So hopefully it'll be playable day 1 then? I'll be sure to seed just to annoy nintendo paypigs who waste money on shitty games.
>shitty game
>will still play day 1
you have low self esteem.
Someone spoodfeed me the Switch emulation guide image, if it's so great.
This one?
Yes, thank you.
Time to play XC1 and 2
what's up with shader downloads? Is it to fix rendering issues?
never used it, I think the link is dead too
you dont even need to dl the shaders
yuzu does it for you upon updates, which its already had

I will never click your links

I'm legit shocked at how Dread emulates perfectly in it from day 1
sound skipping under Linux for some games, especially Ultimate
>linux
>sound doesn't work
in other news water is wet
Windows users too, do a search, especially the new Mario Odyssey
>paying for an emulator
It's free you absolute cretin. Only paid emulator I use is ReDream.
what are you talking about?
Use RyujinX
ryujinx is giving me problems, yuzu seems to work better for me , maybe i fricked something at ryujinx (i dont even see the cover or the names)
How do I transfer my sae from the original Switch to the emulator?

it'll be pretty sad when this is able to run bayo 3 better than the actual switch
Works on my machine
Switch games make PC relevant.
How do I get this Black person to work with surround sound, goddammit?
>How do I get this Black person to work
no one knows, anon
>mfw PChuds will never, EVER play bloodborne
Say what you little b***h?
Keep your 30FPS game, PC Chads will have everything
but i did
because i'm not a underage moron unable to buy consoles because i was never taught to not manage money
no...
?
PS4 emulator being worked on
Tick fricking tock
>PChuds will never
never say never
free games baby
It's kind of amazing how well Switch emulation is considering how dogshit 3ds emulation still is despite it having a way better library.
The Citra gays just focused on Pokemon and dropped the project after they got Pokemon working.
Can I do online battling on Sw/Sh with it? I'd bother with it then.
>Pirates will save the PS5!
Loss of potential sale is not the same as losing an actual sale. It doesn't hurt Nintendo in the slightest.
I pirating purely to hurt Nintendo
Frick you and frick nintendo
>Would never have bought the games
>somehow hurting Nintendo
I don't get people like you.
