Futa is exceptionally rare in Forgotten Realms, so Larian only had a limited pool to pull from
          The few examples we have
          >Selune and Shar creating Mystryl, which is both twincest and implied futa
          >There's one city in the western heartlands iirc run by the original lesbian couple of the FR, the one example of homosexual romance Ed was able to sneak into the setting despite TSR censors, where due to a misplaced comma in one of the books it implied one of them was the daughter of two women, but this was an actual mistake. Thinking of it I think 4e killed them off to avoid having any questions about that
          >In 2e it was implied one of the seven sisters really likes dick, both giving dick and taking dick, and she uses shapechanging spells to assist in her giving it. Though she may have gone full man mode for that since another section mentions she would sometimes turn herself into a big burly man to partake in male only wrestling/athletic events, which are of course all nude
          >Higher level Sharessin clergy have gender swapping magic, but since it was TSR days it's never really explained and implied to just be male/female flipping back and forth

Agreed. I'm not even asking for ridiculous modded Skyrim levels of tidday, hell if you had a cyberpunk 2077 of "small, medium, or large" settings that would be acceptable.

There are mushrooms on the surface, so it's unlikely their diet would change that much, especially if they make a point of bringing their own mushrooms and rothe and cultivating both.

    >would they still be eating only mushrooms though when there are many other alternatives available?
Depends on how much they trust the new alternatives and how much the sources of these new alternatives are willing to cotton to Drow customers. Remember, Drow periodically raid the surface for slaves, plunder and general mayhem and that would lead to distrust, if not outright hostility towards our example surface dwelling Drow. Heck, even if that weren't the case they've been eating these mushrooms for actual centuries, to the point where their palettes are very different from their surface dwelling cousins. You might see Drow start eating other food, but not initially unless Sunlight does the same thing to it as it does to a bunch of other things from the Underdark.

Bingo! 2ed Exalted was full of rape, child rape, ghost rape, demon rape, stolen-identity rape, and magical kingdom fetish stuff.

The Tokyo Black game meanwhile had publishers boycotting DrivethruRPG over an adventure title (Tournament of Rapists), even though it only sold 2 copies so none of them read the damn thing.

I could see the coin flip where the human babies don’t grow quite as big due to a relative lack of vitamin D since the Drow body may not take in much of it, or conversely hoards it. For the other way around. I’d imagine Drow kids breastfed by humans grow bigger but tend to get sick more often.

as long as they're still on the surface human babies would get vitamin D straight from the sun though. Would make sense that a drow with a human nursemaid would be bigger though since the nutrition would be improved

Was he holding someone at gunpoint when they wrote his contract? I don't understand how he keeps getting away with it.
Either way, my knees are bending on their own.

Back when TSR first bought it they were getting a steal, it was something like $2000 to buy him a new computer (and he still has shit frick all engagement with technology) and since anything he wrote was being sent to them by mail, they figured "let what he says at a con panel be canon who cares" because they were getting an entire setting and a prolific writer (not a great one, but a competent one who turned in on time and who importantly was not a prima donna like most artists are).

And when e-mail and the mailing lists began, it was still TSR or WotC and they had a good relationship with him so nobody minded if he answered questions, plus if they wanted to ignore him they could just publish something to overwrite him, as they did several times (Moonshaes for example).

Fast forward to now when WotC doesn't give much of a shit about publishing setting books, so he can run rampant, and it's on a private Discord (you pay to ask him questions) so out of the spotlight like when he was on Twitter, and he is also still holding to a contract that was not written for the technology, smartphone, connected world in which people now inhabit.

And worst case and WotC decide to break the contract, what's he going to do? Take Hasbro to court on a librarian's salary? Top fricking kek.

There's nothing that special about it aside from the fact that Greenwood has simply kept up with different platforms (he used to do this on web forums like Candlekeep and only recently opened a Discord for it). Many of the TSR era campaign writers to take and field questions from fans at conventions, via snail mail, or on blogs - Hickman/Weiss for Dragonlance, Baker for Eberron, etc.
So long as they don't violate any NDAs on unreleased products they're not doing anything illegal by giving their opinions as creators on their creation - and Greenwood does sometimes note he cannot actually give a detailed answer to some questions because it would violate an NDA.
