>set during the initial jedi schism >play as one of the dark jedi that will become sith >instead of following the others to Korriban, you set forth into the unknown regions >gameplay is Mass Effect + Jedi Knight series >goal is to forge your own religious empire that is neither sith (doesnt exist yet) or jedi (what you rebelled against) in the outer rim >never comes into contact with the known star wars universe (ie Empire, Republic etc), only minor or briefly mentioned factions from old EU lore
Essentially a DAI game but in a Star Wars skin.
Exploring the deepest parts of the Unknown Regions, including run-ins with the Ssi-ruuk, Zonama Sekot, and Force traditions that no Jedi or Sith has ever encountered before
No, the Jedi were AROUND for a thousand generations.
I'm referring to the thousand YEARS between the Sith going into hiding and the emergence of Maul, that's the High Republic.
nta but >Generations
yes the republics is 25,000 years old if 20-30 years are a generation but Disney was stupid to take the 1000 year literally, aka the hyper lanes can't be made before 1000 bby. >the republic golden age
the true term for the era after the Battle of Ruusan and before the TPM. The Old republic as a era and publication category ends with the Darth Bane trilogy.
Darth Vader horror game where you play as a low rank Jedi. Him and his men hunt you from beginning to end, a game of lion and mouse. Fighting him is sure death every time. He's faster, stronger, and smarter on all fronts. All you can do is survive and run from planet to planet as you seek to deliver a key piece of intel to the rebels that could turn the tide of the war.
>takes place in the Coruscant lower levels >you play a rookie cop investigating crimes from death stick smuggling, illegal gambling and slavery, corruption at the police station, to jedi themselves involved in organized crime >work your way through the ranks >get paired up with a robot partner who hates you >FPS Republic Commando type gameplay >stuff to do on your time off >linear story but plenty of side quests and activities
You play as a sith practicing alchemy, the gameplay is something like Lab of the Dead or mutate the labrat where you get to experiment and figure out new methods of creating abominations in pursuit of knowledge and power
I know absolutely nothing about the expanded universe, only what's in the main movies.
But imagine this
A little girl, Ashley, is born on a destitute planet, once a bustling trade center, it's long since been deserted for more convenient areas and tourist friendly areas. Now it's filled with people just barely getting by, Ashley's parents finally falling to desperation decides to sell their daughter to a disgusting perverted tentacle alien covered in slime that just wants to own Ashley and violate her every hole.
However, just as she's about to be sold and his slimy gooey tentacles are about to defile her poor little body, the empire comes in to take over the planet. With their strict laws and firepower they lay down the law and bring order to the planet, while its still a harsh place to live, it's no longer a land of lawless scumbags.
Anyways, now without her family and having nowhere to go. Ashley joins her saviors in the empire to help fight for peace and stability across the universe.
Naturally one thing leads to the other, and it is discovered by a hidden sith lord that she has an affinity for the force, and using contacts in the empire they're able to pull her out of the forces and join them as an apprentice.
While a harsh teacher, the sith lord isn't typically evil in the traditional sense and actually support's Ashley desire for peace and law.
And this is where the main gameplay of the game will come in.
The sith lord will put Ashley into a variety of different missions and situations, some that just follow the Empire's strategy, but most will be to push Ashley into taking matters into her own hands and settling things with violence, but for the good of others. However this still puts her down the path of evil as she's using her power for personal gain.
It's up to the player to determine which way they'll fall, and you can have the typical jedi/sith ending.
Gameplay wise, it's typical action schlock, less adventure than FO and more bup
Gameplay wise, I just find FO to be too sterile. It's a fun game but Jedi should really come off as a force of nature type thing. Struggling with 1 on 1 fights with local fauna just feels silly. And even at their best he's taking on like 2-3 storm troopers, it just doesn't feel as high power level as force users are always circlejerked about.
I feel like you really need that power fantasy going when you let someone play as a Jedi. And slow paced deliberate souls-like combat just doesn't cut it imo.
>Pitch a star wars game
battlefront 3 by all surviving pandemic devs
kotor 3 by all surviving kotor 2 devs
rouge squadron 4 by all surviving rouge squadron devs
Empire at War 2
dead franchise
Star Wars died 10 years ago, let it go. This is just pathetic.
The fact that you are in every thread is the sad part
>set during the initial jedi schism
>play as one of the dark jedi that will become sith

No the fag squadrons game doesn't count
Exploring the deepest parts of the Unknown Regions, including run-ins with the Ssi-ruuk, Zonama Sekot, and Force traditions that no Jedi or Sith has ever encountered before
Also this
It's funny how the first two cover 25000-4000 years before the OT and then the last six cover a period of about 100 years
I assume we will see more clear cut eras once we actually go further into the old republic and high Republic
High Republic is pre-Prequels, it's nowhere near as far back as Old Republic
High Republic is that full thousand years of peace.
Even the books we have already showcase two different periods that could have been considered seperate eras, let alone everything before that.
>thousand years of peace
Generations, George
No, the Jedi were AROUND for a thousand generations.

Nothing but the three in the middle matter. A republic lasting for 25,000 years is fucking retarded even for star wars.
>What is the reformation
Fuck off lore-lette
Twilek impregnation simulator

Thank you for training Filoni properly
The prequels are garbage and you should be forever ashamed for ewoks and gungans. Fuck you George.

I like Jar Jar Binks and Ep1 is a great film.
Semi-Open world Jedi Knight game with the same combat as JK II or JKA.
Literally printing money.
I just wish Swtor was better, they had something real good and then just threw it away
Add gray morality by having you play as an Imperial stormtrooper fighting an evil Rebel sect
Imperial focused Xcom style game.
Ill punch that up and say an XCOM game about the Grysks vs the Chiss
More old school Kotor like games, of different people.
Basically like the modern films but replace all the minorities and homosexuals with aliens
Starwars is adult kid shit.
$1000

JK4 - Jaden killing Rosh and turning to the Dark Side is canon and you play as Kyle Katarn on a quest to bring him to justice
Prequel to Kotor 1, set during the Sith War (40 years prior). You play as a young Jolee Bindo or some shit. The big bad is Exar Kun
Battlefront but like the original ones
No thanks. I'll just play Dark Forces and its sequels again.
I didn't think Fallen Order was bad, though. Survivor was a bit of a mess.
so you're a jedi that survived order 66 and you now have to fight against the new empire
Age of empires 2 but star wars
Kino
You play as a sith practicing alchemy, the gameplay is something like Lab of the Dead or mutate the labrat where you get to experiment and figure out new methods of creating abominations in pursuit of knowledge and power

Fighting game that properly represents all the lightsaber fighting styles
I was just about to post this
Jedi Power Battles except with modern graphics and sensebilities and a ton of extra unlockable characters because why the fuck not.
Masters or Taris Kasi except with modern graphics and sensebilities and a ton of extra unlockable characters because why the fuck not.
You take the combat and exploration of Jedi Survivor and make it about Luke dealing with post ROTJ shit, with the Yuuzhan Vong eventually invading.
Star wars.
But all the characters are cute girls who are half naked and bare footed.
Not bad
>Pitch a star wars game
battlefront 3 by all surviving pandemic devs
kotor 3 by all surviving kotor 2 devs
rouge squadron 4 by all surviving rouge squadron devs
Jedi Knight 3
Battlefront 3
It's that easy. Also a new podracing game. Also star wars dating simulator.
>Also star wars dating simulator.

Battlefront-style game set in the Mandalorian Wars
Blasters vs sabers would be kino
Disney orbital bombardment simulator.
Mount & Blade-like where you build a criminal empire in the Outer Rim following the collapse of the Hutt cartels.
