I thought of this awhile back
    >game starts off and advertises itself as a comfy farm game, stardew valley, harvest moon kinda thing
    >it is indeed that way for awhile, plant crops, talk to townsfolk, build and customize your house, choose a spouse, have a child, etc
    >after a few ingame years, it happens
    >your town is attacked in the night by a horde of undead/goblins/whatever
    >an evil sorcerer of some kind is laying siege to the kingdom
    >many townsfolk are captured and taken prisoner, including your spouse
    >game switches to an adventure game, you must take up arms and go on a quest to save your stolen friends and loved one
    >learn spells and gather weapons, journeying to the wizards dark tower
    >after rescuing all your loved ones and beating the dark wizard, the game goes back to being a comfy farm game again, with occasional random monster attacks you defend your homestead against

    Title: The Dark Ascent

    Genre: Action-Adventure, Survival Horror, RPG
Plot Summary: In the year 2035, Earth is on the brink of annihilation due to catastrophic global warming and uncontrollable diseases caused by human recklessness. As one of the last few survivors, the player character finds themselves in a dark, desolate world distorted by decay and desperation. They embark on a harrowing journey through desolate and haunting landscapes, uncovering long-forgotten artifacts and technologies, fighting horrific mutated creatures and other desperate survivors while attempting to unravel the mysteries of an ancient organization known as The Sovereigns of the Oubliette. Gameplay:
Freedom of choice: The game presents multiple storylines depending on the players' decisions, guiding the player's character to develop along branches either towards light or dark ethics, with varying endings.
Crafting and resource management: Players must gather resources to survive, using them to craft weapons, armor, and equipment.
Combat: The game offers a blend of ranged and melee combat. The player has a wide range of weapons - from chain guns and flamethrowers to electric whips and machetes.
Skills and proficiencies: The player can choose proficiencies to level up their character, focusing on combat, crafting, or survival skills.
Environmental storytelling: The post-apocalyptic world is rich with hints about what happened to it. As players progress, they uncover more information about the causes of the apocalypse, the Sovereigns of the Oubliette, and the state of the world before they were born.

Moral decisions: The game offers moral dilemmas—the player's choices will impact the storyline and possible endings. The Dark Ascent offers an immersive, morally ambiguous adventure, encouraging players to survive, explore, and make their own way in a world gone dar

It's a Deus Ex inspired game set on a city in Mars. Mankind integrated themselves with digital technology so now everyone lives with two layers of reality. A digital one and a real one. People now change how they look in the alternate reality and purchase digital items instead of real ones. You play as an individual who has lost their original self and now change their form as they see fit. This is curently all i have but im wondering what other people think.

One of my ideas was that you were hired by an old man to find out what happened in one of the city blocks where everyone was killed by a gang. You later discover it wasn't actualy a gang but private PMC's who thought they were in a simulation. This would spirral you down a rabbit hole and lead to you trying to destroy the mega corporation that rules humanity.

Backrooms multiplayer co-op game where you've got to accomplish research oriented objectives. This shit could consist of shit like setting up equipment or taking readings in specific areas or retrieving corpses. However there are no entities. Instead the danger lies in the environment itself. The backrooms can shift at any time and if you're not careful you can find yourself getting separated from the rest of your team or worse, possibly getting crushed or split apart by a shift hallway, door, room, etc. There's also shit like hidden pitfalls that require careful observation to spot (like an inconsistency or shimmer in the carpet) as well as areas with narrow ledges that need to be navigated as well
In addition there's some kind of contaminate in the air or some shit so you're stuck in a hazmat suit with limited oxygen supply. Taking damage either by falling or fricking up while setting up more dangerous equipment can potentially damage your suit requiring you to patch it. Damage to your suit will expose you to the contaminants in the air causing you to lose health over time. The longer it takes you to repair your suit, the quicker you'll lose health.
The game would also have a sort of permadeath mechanic as well. Basically you play as a randomized researcher and you're given an office. Completing expeditions awards you with credits which you can use to buy decoration to personalize your office which will be accessible to other players while you're in multiplayer lobbies. If you die however, you lose that character along with everything in that character's office.

Survival horror featuring a group of big dicked shota. You have to explore an old mansion that supposedly belonged to a woman who would abduct boys and sacrifice them. Each boy is basically a life, but losing one will ramp up the difficulty as they will end up possessed and hunt down their friends. Think an erotic version of amnesia/silent hill with a bit of alien isolation

why don't proper porn games exist yet? im talking from actual game devs. we all remember that porn rule 34 sfm studio that got a LOT of money and it completely failed and bombed due to lack of skill or internal drama.
it literally isn't a thing because of old taboos still, isn't it?
its really telling where I can play a game where you can rip peoples heads and arms off, but if its a porn game it would be banned in nearly every country in the world DESPITE being able to google any porn you fricking want (and is kind of the source of the huge problems with younger people being exposed to more fricked up shit at a younger age than i ever was).

        Anonymous

Yeah, it's the old taboos and stigma. You'd have fat twatter femcoomers (and "fem"coomers) tripping over each other to tell the devs to touch grass and have sex. Immaturity and the feeling of sticking it to the males still prevails.
You'd unironically have a better shot at making an AAA gay porn game than a proper sex game.

        Anonymous

We had a flood of good porn games you can still play. They were all made in flash. Fast, snappy, to the point and instead of watching sex you choose when to advance to new sex scenes and go back to what made you more excited.

Virtamate, it's the only good sex game that actually is a sex game, as in a full on sim with physics and shit. Even just standing around and fiddling with tiddies is fun in that game. Ignore the ugly default models, everyone imports customs one. Also it's VR but then how can a sex sim work without VR, you want those hands to be fully useable to play with the tiddies

Something like Dwarf Fortress but you hop in and play as a specific character, then if you die you get to be someone else and so on. There'd probably be some timescale controls and a frickton of skill trees to make sure even playing as the guy shoveling shit is somewhat entertaining. And yeah, I do realise it would take decades to develop and it probably wouldn't run on current hardware, but man can dream.

An underground street racing game, but it's a turn based RPG. Each round is a chunk of the track, and your skills and abilities are around maneuvering or displacing your opponents, end of each turn moves you up the track where actions will play out simultaneously, you have to react to pedestrians, civilian cars, hazards etc. the objective isn't to "kill" the other cars, but to simply be first at the end of all the rounds.

Sci-fi third person tactical, squad based game with RPG elements.

Setting is based on Randevous with Rama. Giant O'neil cylinder appears in near-Earth orbit at the end of 21st century. Squad of ~8 people sent in for first scouting mission.

Story is intended to play out in an A->B goal setting where the shape of the cylinder allows for different branching paths to goal B (the other end of the cylinder) Cylinder itself is filled with different relatively small colonies of alien civilizations that were picked up by the cylinder, similarly to how 2006 Prey worked. The key issue is that the cylinder is at this point MILLIONS of years old, and since none of the aliens inside it understand how it works, or who built it, it is starting to fall apart and as such mini-wars are starting to erupt between the groups for survival and ownership over the remaining functional habitat places. Non-functional places are filled with mutated wildlife and aliens that went berserk over the extremely long time they spent on the station.

Very high level of player choice in the different paths you can take and the way you interact with each new civilization as you try to make your way towards the end of the cylinder.

First persona RPG. The setting is a town during the first 24 hours of a zombie apocalypse when the outbreak begins. It only lasts 24 hours and then the game ends. 100 NPCs who will go about their routine and have conversations, drama quickly unfolds and most die without your involvement. So you would have to replay to see everything. Saving a handful of NPCs would be a struggle, further incentivising multiple playthroughs. Items in the world (diaries, emails) would give further context about who these NPCs are and their story before everything falls apart.
