The changes to buffs, and especially the new charge skills make V more fun to me. I like how V took out a lot of the randomness of Apocalypse. Also being able to status bosses is always a big plus in JRPGs.
>Also being able to status bosses is always a big plus in JRPGs.
Devs should be shot back in the head twice, ruled as a suicide for ever including nullifying ALL status effects on EVERY major boss.
I thought it was the best zone, the only thing that's too high is the main bosses, but there are so many sidequests and abcesses to do its a total non-issue because by the end of it you'll be more than ready. It's just the comfiest zone to explore.
>play it >get pretty far into the game (snowy/ashy area) >take a break >completely forget everything story wise >dont want to continue save but dont want to start over either
i hate when i do this with rpgs. was really good though, hard mode was actually hard and harder than any other megaten game ive played, albeit ive only played nocturne, iv and some of 2 but all of those were on normal mode. persona games are a joke in terms of difficulty aside from 3
The world is dead, 18 years ago Lucifer managed to kill God somehow (see the DLC), but afterward abandoned the forces of chaos. The Tokyo you live in is a simulcrum made by God as his final miracle to keep it away from the demons. Remaining law forces under Abdiel keep the secret of God's demise under wraps to maintain order and just engage a pointless campaign against the forces of chaos led by Arioch who also just aimlessly continue fighting without Lucifer. You are drafted by the Japanese law forces (Bethel), currently led by the last living Amatsukami, Tsukiyomi, who is just trying to do what he can to restore Japan. Aogami is an artificial demon copy of Susano'o and you are the soul of Susano'o in a human body. Lahamu, one of the old gods whose wise to the way of the world realized God was dead because Nahobino can only exist when God's curse is lifted and tried to take his soul back to become a Nahobino and become the new God. This led to Abdiel engaging in a campaign to kill all the students at your school to prevent such a thing, however the fairies gave the students shelter so they were unable to complete their plan. You defeated Lahamu but at the cost of Tao dying and being megami tensei'd. Then Tsukiyomi had you participate in the joint operation to kill Arioch purely to have you be seen by the other Bethel branches (Abdiel tried to bar your participation). When the other Bethel heads come to the conclusion God is dead because of your existence, the organization breaks down and every group makes for the throne of creation to take the place of God in a mad scramble. The Megami Tensei'd Tao informs you that the fake Tokyo is breaking down (actually has been all game if you were checking in), and there's no time left you have to become God or what's left of the world will fall to the Netherworld. So now you are racing the other Gods, including Tsukiyomi and Abdiel for the throne of creation. That's the story so far.
Already have, done all 4 routes. My favorite SMT game, really fun to do mono-allignment runs, a lot of demons you neglect normally can really shine when they're all you've got.
I've been emulating it (didn't finish it yet, just got to the new area) and really want a proper pc port expansion. 60+ Fps, 1440p. Side quest dungeons too.
I started playing it on switch. Just killed the hydra boss in first area and struggling to continue. I really want to like the game especially after i paid like 35 bucks for it but its honestly kinda ass. Its my first game in this type and the combat system is ruining all the fun. Also the fusion and essence system stuff is not explained properly so i have no idea what im doing or how i get new abilities. Overall an extremely mid game only the design and music pulls it up for me
>be me >lifting at gym trying to deal with all the new year resolution shitters >twink with long hair comes up and asks for a spot >spot him for bench and get to talking about what he wants to work on >start working out together more these past three weeks and become decent friends >he shows me his kakashi cosplay out of the blue after we finish leg day >wearing tight pants in the picture as opposed to his usual loose sweat pants in the gym >child birthing hips
/V/ros... how can I get him to cosplay nahobino without it being awkward?
It wasn't fun and they somehow made the gameplay super braindead.
port it on pc or a real console first
Just emulate it?
>yuzu still has broken clown vomit glitching all textures
Yeah I think I will not
switch is the only platform for people who actually enjoy games, deal with it
>smtrans vee
No, thanks.
I don't think that Xbox players care about SMT. I could be wrong, tho. We already know that PS owners don't. So what's left?
Apocalypse is better
Only in terms of gameplay. The characters are objectively worse.
its not like V had stellar cast either
V has the best demon characters in the series.
Dagda alone was infinitely superior to anyone from V

Stephen boss fight was probably fanservice bullshit, but it’s the most kino thing SMT has ever done
Its not fun, the story is pants on head moronic and the ending was not satisfying. It looks nice, but yeah thats about it.
all SMTV did was reveal how all of the SMT "chads" were semen slurping homosexuals all along
It's really fun, but the last level, which is nonlinear, is really not great. The level jump is too high

I thought it would be on a better platform by now. It's Unreal 4; how fricking hard could it be?
I'll give it a try, one day.

Don't worry, I've heard this game's story is barebones and shit anyway.
The story is complete shit. Just keep going. You missed nothing
forget everything story wise
there was nothing to forget

No. Once was enough, it took too long to come out for what it is and the story was ass, I did enjoy the writing on the demons in side quests though
troony game voiced by a literal troony.

Should be easy, he is a weeb.
I don't know if he'd be willing to cosplay or dye his hair blue for me
I'm a guy, but frick if I wouldn't mate press nahobino given the opportunity
do girls really get off on boys cosplaying?
Yes, but I don't think anon is a girl
>official cosplay reference image features a close-up of the butt
Did Atlus know?
Did.
Is fun.
I already beat it once and there is literally 0 replay value
I liked it a lot but I will never open the collectors edition steel book again
why is the MC gay
because you cant stop thinking about wieners
He's not. He's a self-insert protagonist.
I did. It was mediocre.
