I got really fricking boring around the third world and the game didn't improve.
The difficulty went down the shitter super fast and unless you fight the demifiend the game is a bore.
And I didn't like them removing the dungeon crawling aspect completely when atlus can actually design some really fun ones.
>Absolutely brilliant level design. >completely open spaces that require some inane and poorly implemented platforming >can go back to the savespot with a single button >can avoid every snigle enemy
Nevermind the actual dungeons in the game are a steaming pile of shit.
But I can tell you hate actual dungeon crawling.
They're not completely open spaces, in fact the game has tons of verticality and interlooping routes to any destination. And the actual dungeons are about par for the other 3D SMT games, actually better than anything from IV Era. I don't like the instant escape button, I would take it out, but apart from that it's great.
That's aesthetics you knob. Each of those is totally different from each other design wise. Even aesthetically, red desert has the shipping yard and fairy forest, gray desert has Tokyo station, white desert has Odin's tower. The wild areas from SWSH are actually just flat open MMO fields, that's the primary reason they're reviled, not anything to do with aesthetics.
>Side sections where you play classic SMT gameplay with that one glasses kid and Sucker Hat so they can have some character >Actually tie the whole scarf girl dying sidequest meaningfully into the plot, it feels like a SMTIV Nozomi situation >At least two more dungeons in the style of Demon King's Fortress but, y'know, designed better hopefully >Some way to do something more with unique skills, at least let them transfer along class lines or something, add some more MP cost if you want (limited essences in general should stop you from getting a dozen Golden Apples)
There's probably more, like a slightly more fleshed out story, but I don't know where you'd insert anything beyond the most basic stuff.
my biggest gripe is that the environments are so bland it actually makes navigation more difficult. Would be insanely immersive if there was just a little more detail
I wish I played it years ago when it was brand new. I always had it installed on my pc but its only now that I got around to it. Feel like I missed out but whatevers, if they ever port this game out to "modern" consoles I hope for better optimization and 60fps... but this is gayLUS.
Funny image — Hope you don't mind saving it. Nonetheless, I will not play that game.
Signed,
Alfred.
I already have, it's my favorite game. Nonetheless I replayed it for the anniversary so I'm gonna give it a little break before playing again.
I did until I fought the snake lady and just stopped because it was boring. Devil Survivor 3 when.
>Devil Survivor 3 when.
troony mc.

Young man

Nah, V is okay but there are better SMT games
I love my husband Nahobi so much

The Da'at sectors are better designed than any other dungeon in the series. Absolutely brilliant level design.

Literally the wild areas from Pokemon SwSh but worse

what would you add to the story?
im playing the ps1 version of smt1, beat V a month ago. I wish they would remake 1 with V's engine, the plot is very devilman and I think thats neat
I'm also playing SMT1 but on SNES.
I like it but the UI is not great.
It's a retro RPG so it's expected but still, it could have been better.

troony game. Only good Fatlus game is Kinoturne, SJ is also ok
I'm not gonna replay it until they release the Maniax edition.

Already did but I will his game again if they port it
I did. I wanted to use Amanozako as an onahole every time she dashed ahead and waved me towards an item.
