You finally get to catch mons that aren't the new 150 in the postgame but I'd say just move on to BW2 since you revisit those endgame routes as part of the maingame in 2 anyway.
Post game is a lot less linear/rail-roaded and IMO the locations and things to do are more interesting. But as said, you're probably better off just playing BW2 (Play White 2 if you care about challenge mode).
people only like gen 5 because of nostalgia, not its objective quality.
>"everybody who likes something I don't like is just a nostalgiagay" >using the word "objective"
People like (You) are the reason all discussion on this board is insufferable.
>>"everybody who likes something I don't like is just a nostalgiagay"
No, just people who like an objectively low quality game whose target audience is 8 year olds.
Same with Gen 1 ironically enough, anyone who defends the travesty of bugs, bad design, unfinished garbage, and ugly spritework that was Gen 1 is either a boomer looking back with rose-tinted glasses who hasn't touched them since they were a child or a zoomer pretending to be the aforementioned boomer to fit in.
Gen 5, as it's a soft reboot of the franchise that's aping as much from Gen 1 as it possibly can to try and recapture the magic lightning in a bottle that was pokemania (and failing spectacularly), inherets a lot of the same issues bar the bugginess and unfinished code, replacing them with a shitty "plot" and forced unskippable cutscenes as well as garbage new mechanics like rotation and triple battles.
>Same with Gen 1 ironically enough
no, gen 1 is objectively good for the hardware its stuck on all while having drastically better map design and writing than gen 5.
Both games have roadblocks of both kinds, moron. Meanwhile Unova has the better plot.
>The climax of BW is pretty good and is honestly what makes the game.
No it fricking isn't. It's full on storyshit railroad and the fight against N isn't even important because Ghetsis is the real big bad and Plasma is just shitty diet team rocket.
>if I simplify the story that means it’s always simple
You’re not actually criticizing BW. You’re showing how little you understood it’s plot, which (if it’s as simple as you claim) looks very bad on your end.
>I'm at the elite 4, is the end game worth it?
Yes actually. The climax of BW is pretty good and is honestly what makes the game. The postgame is just the Battle Subway and a few superbosses. Mediocre but it's something.

So you mean pokemon?

Just recently replayed White and I think it holds up pretty well.
yes I too think mashing the A button while walking into the single new map the npcs let me enter is engaging gameplay
K
Yet when something like that is said about Kalos, you have a meltdown and say that's the series in general so you can't say that.
Not him, but both Unova and Kalos are shit. Everything after HGSS is shit.
Hgss included
BASED REDPILLED HAHA SO FUNNY !??!? TELL ME MORE ABOUT HOW YOU HATE TRUMPETS

Worth what, the 20 minutes it takes you to beat the E4?
Finishing N's story is worth it but sadly most of BW's postgame features depended on online connectivity, which is officially dead many years ago
I was tired of N's autist ass the second time I met him.
Don't listen to people telling you to play BW2, it's the same game. If you hated one you'll hate the other one.
>if I ignore differences everything’s the same
I’m not him
The final boss battles are the best in the series.
