4 was a really rushed game. In the files you can find remnants of a frickton of cut characters including Anna and Jinpachi.
I didn't like it much at release, but I've come to adore it's aesthetic and story. I REALLY miss Tekken trying to mix it up. Now, each game just feels like a remix of Tekken 6 which was my least favorite installment.
I want a new Tekken to really wow me with a unified aesthetic, new looks to the characters that aren't just all over the place, and to have music that isn't the awful wubshit of the recent games. The characters models have looked fricking awful since 6 as well. Their proportions look so stupid. I prefer the look of everyone in 5 and 4.
>game with no playerbase and unable to be played online
No. I will play Tekken 7. And when 8 launches, I will play Tekken 8.
Only COWARDS and coons that want to be the bigger fish on small aquariums, play dead and unpopular games. It is active competition that make the real difficulty
I was still on the PS1 when it was released, so when got myself a Playstation 2, Tekken 5 had already been launched. So, why would a kid play Tekken 4, when 5, a much superior game, was also available?
It's like asking me if I played a lot of Tekken 1 and 2. Why would I do that as a kid, when Tekken 3, a game prettier and more entertaining, was there already?
>So, why would a kid play Tekken 4, when 5, a much superior game, was also available?
Because Tekken 5 is not a much superior game. It's just a more refined game. It actually takes a step backwards (lel) when it comes to advanced mechanics. It's literally just Tekken 3's core gameplay yet again.
Can you still side step in new Tekken games? I remember not being able to do it in Tekken 5.
You could always sidestep in Tekken 5. Double-tap down or up. Every game at and after Tekken 3 had sidestepping. Before Tekken 3, only Kazuya could do a sidestep (Mist Step).
>Find this game in a PS2 lot >Suddenly see it everywhere >Tekken 8 teased
This is like the time LaL remake got announced after I played the original and Survive after I beat Digimon World.
How did it managed to do a worse job with uneven areas than DoA2 released 2y prior, when VF3 already had mostly done it 7y before too?

Tekken 4 live rent free in your head
If I touched Tekken 4 for 5 minutes in my whole life, it would be a lot
The Tekken game that lives rent free in my head is Tekken 5
What is the problem with 4?

you convinced me.
because Tekken 4 got the best iteration of Yoshimitsu
How are you not curious about the differences as a kid?

Tekken 7 is garbage. Come back supers are anti-Tekken. Go choke on dicks Harada.
Tekken 4 is pretty good man.
I wish they’d go back to the uneven stages.
>best OST
